www.BIG-EVE.com
Have you ever tried to find enough partners to fund a battleship BP - and failed? Have you ever thought: "I'm not sure I trust these guys with the original BP - I'll keep my millions"? Have you ever wondered if there wasnt an easier way?
Now there is
No longer do you need to spend endless hours trying to find enough partners to buy that 'next great' Battleship BP. Your partner is BIG - no matter which Battleship BP you are looking for shared ownership of. You have to trust only BIG with your millions - Which many, many hundreds (literally!) of EVEians have already done (BIG Lottery, BIG Championship betting).
What we offer is the following.
You can buy one or more '1/10th share' of *ANY* Battleship Blueprint
No need to wait for partners BIG is your partner!
Each '1/10th share' of a BP you buy, means you'll get one 1 run BPc each week (ME levels will vary - goal is at least ME5). You are welcome to buy as many shares as you want, thus increasing the amount of BP's you get per week. You are welcome to buy shares of different Battleship BP's, all your shares don't need to be tied up in one Battleship BP only.
If only one share is ever sold of, say an Armageddon BP (a mere 66.25M ISK), then BIG will *still* 'pay out' 1 BPc per week to whoever bought that share.
One other advantage, which makes this so very different from other shared BP buys, is that you at *any time* can buy *more* shares! You are not 'locked' by a rigid agreement with other partners, where the shares are locked. The real beauty is - If, over time, you buy up all 10 shares of one BP - BIG hands over the original BP to you!
As an example: If it will take you, say 2 months to get enough ISK together, to get your 'dream Battleship BP', why not pay some now, and get access to copies immediately!, and then slowly keep buying more shares, until you finally own it. It will cost you the same amount of ISK, but you will get the first copies (to either sell or build from) earlier!
If you want your Battleship BP because you want to make money selling copies - consider this: Each week you will get a BPc that you can sell. If you just had the money sitting in your wallet, until you could afford to buy the Blueprint Original by yourself, how much money would that make you? Worth considering!
The price of the individual shares, naturally depends on the BP you are intersted in - as listed below
Cost of '1/10 shares' - Battleship name --------------------------------------------- 112,50M ISK - Apocalypse (Amarr) 108.75M ISK - Raven (Caldari) 105.00M ISK - Megathron (Gallente) 103.75M ISK - Tempest (Minmatar) 175.00M ISK - Typhoon (Minmatar) 171.25M ISK - Scorpion (Caldari) 166.25M ISK - Armageddon (Amarr) 162.50M ISK - Dominix (Gallente)

Can you sell the 1/10 shares back to BIG?
If not, 15% return is not true, as you don't have your original invested money any more.
It means you need at least 6 weeks to break even, that's ages.

Look at it like this.. Your Corp has 200 million isk in the bank. It is going to take you quite a while to get ~400 mill into the bank to get an original..
You could spend 5-8 mill getting one one run BPc for your corp.. say 10 copies = ~ 60 mill. but that is it. You then go out and get killed by pirates or lose one due to NPC for some reason.. down to 8 BS now.. so u have to go back and buy another 2 copies.. this goes on and u are throwing money away that could be saved up to get an original.
Doing it BIG's way you get a guaranteed supply of BS for as many weeks as u want... when u have enough for your corp u can sell the BPc to make more isk to either buy more shares or get your own original!!
Look to the future, Look at it as an investment for your future

Look at it from a financial point of view, trickling in at one 1-run bpc per week is just too slow.. 6-8-10 weeks from now, you have just your money back, so then you haven't even made a single isk, and then money is worth less due to inflation.
I must admit the idea is fresh and good, but not good enough for me, I can make more money with my 60 mil in 10 weeks..

@Ameloki
This is for ppl with ambitions of owning a BS BP, alone *or* together with others. People of course have various reasons for wanting to own such a BP (pride of ownership, independence of fluctuating market prices, to, over time, make money selling BPc's - etc etc)
If you are one of those - *then* this is for you - else not.
Buying a BS BP (or any other ship BP for that matter) IS a long term 'investment' (or whatever you want to call it).
You just dont make the money back you spend on the BP, wether you own the full BP or a share of it, in a few weeks. It's just not possible.
Of course, 'making back your money', is not always the primary goal of owning a BS BP. Having 'access' to the print gives you other 'advantages', that cant be measured in money. BIG Lottery

Hope you have lots of success with it and some of the smaller corps out there see the potential benefit to themselves. They can us ethe investment to sell on the BPC and gradually recoup their money or use the Copy to build BS's for their own corp.
As saving up enough money for 1BS a week is about right for some small-mid sized corp its a great investment.

Edited by: Rosetta on 10/10/2003 17:35:16 It is a creative idea which I like a lot. The pro obviously is the entry into BS business at 1/10th magnitude. However, there are a few cons:
1) Must trust BIG. If they have been trustworthy in the past that is good, however things can always change for a multitude of reasons. As long as you don't have the original BP in your personal hangar, you are at some risk to lose 100% of your investment.
2) Slightly reduced return. I calculate that BIG is making 7*24/15 - 10 = 1.2 BPC/week of their own on this deal. So they are getting 12% of the action without putting up any money of their own. This is fair enough I think, given they are promoting and managing the deal. However, it is important to remember that the shareholder is only getting 89% of the BPC returns they would with outright ownership.
3) Lack of liquidity. Imo this is the "biggest" con. Since you do not actually control the original BP, you cannot liquidate your holdings in it if you wish to reallocate your capital to other ventures. You are locked in FOREVER unless you buy out the original BP by purchasing the remaining shares. I know lots of former BS manufactures who have sold their unlimited BPCs for one reason or another. Lack of this option is a serious shortcoming.
Those are the cons. Actually I think I might participate myself if #3 was eliminated. BIG, would you be willing to guarantee "buy back" of shares at 100% of purchase price?

#2: On the surface it may look like we're going to make a marginal profit from this deal but we will actually count ourselves lucky if we break even. Profit will depend on keeping the bps going 23/7 and with the inevitable human error or random uncalled for bp ejection it is doubtful that will happen.

It is important to factor into your oppertunity cost here. Let say one is working toward a 1B ISK original Apoc BP purchase, and let say your corp have a saving rate of 100M per week. Instead of waiting for 10 weeks before you can get the BP, you now can get your ISK working for you on the 1st week instead of the 10th week. Effectively, you are hundred of millions ahead with the BIG Deal!!

I have to say that thisd is a very good idea from BIG.
And for those worried about BIG runing off with your money...its not gonna happen. I have known the boys in BIG for well over a year now and they are very trsutworthy. There lottery should speak for there trust worthyness.
I spoke in length with Tornsoul last night and gathered some information that ins't posted in that advert. Mainly how much work it actually is, there is alot of bookkeeping involved and other CEO's will be able to sympathise here, he is doing alot of work and deserves the returns that BIG will be getting, also if you dont think that this is a good idea to get your corp into the BB market then you haven't read the post properly, there are no downsides that I can see , if you are going all out on getting a BB BP.
I just have to say Goodluck Tornsoul and BIG, and I will be in touch.

@Hideki
Thank you for the kind words mate
@Rosetta - and many others who have mailed me.
Regarding a 'buy back' policy. I admit I'm surpriced at how many has asked about this. My reason for being surpriced is, if you buy a BP from a NPC you dont expect a 'buy back' policy. Even as a member of a group (having a share) buying a BP, you dont expect a 'buy back' policy.
So I dont quite understand why it is, people think it should be any different with "The BIG Deal".
But so be it. If that is what people want, then we will try and figure out a way to make that happen (as Detaitiv has already said, we have been giving it some thought)
Another thing we have under consideration is some sort of 'upgrade' policy. Ie. converting your BP share into a different kind of BP share. But this is still on the drawing board, with respect to how we would make this possible.
But watch this space - we will post when we have something a bit more concrete than 'we are working on it'
Soon(tm) anyone BIG Lottery

Muad Dib - We Would naturally do that no matter what.
The problem arizes when more people wants to get their money back, than new people buying shares.
*Theoretically*, this could mean we'd suddenly have to pay out billions....
And *we* dont have a buy back guarantee, as I doubt the NPC's could care less, if we ended up short for cash
My biggest concerns is actually people 'exploiting' a buy back policy, by simply 'withdrawing' their money as soon as they got the first (or 2nd or whatever) BPc. Thus gaining BPc's for free - which I somehow don't see as fair tbh. BIG Lottery

What you could do, if you keep very good and precise logs / databases, then you could make it so people can only get a buy-back option when the price on the amount of blueprint copies they have got is less than the amount they spent on the blueprint .
I hope that doesn't sound as complicated as it does to me reading it back lol .
Basically, a share of a blueprint costs say 60 mil, if you give a price to the blueprint copy, lets say 10 mil for this example then they can claim a buy-back option of the shares they own upto the 5'th copy they receive, giving them a buy back option of only 10 mil (because of the 5 bp's they own at a value of 10 mil each).
If someone buys back on the second blueprint (they own 2) then they can buy back an amount of 40 mil.
If they have received 6 blueprint copies then there should be NO buy-back option because obviously they are happy with the arrangement. Not to mention it would be stupid because they would have their 60 mil investment back in the price of the copies and would then be making money from the additional copies they receive
This should be easy to implement with one person owning one share in a blueprint but could become more difficult when they own multiple shares in one blueprint but with adequate databases / information you should be able to work it out .
Not sure how that would work though in practice

Where did you hear about the copies not transfering the mineral research?
The whole point of a blueprint copy is it's a copy of the original, if the original has mineral research.... and you make a copy.... surely the copy will have mineral research too (like it does now)
What's the point in making copies (or calling it a copy if it's not actually a copy) if the mineral research does not transfer? I've not heard anything about this myself but maybe I missed it?

Why not just allow the share to be transferrable. A shareholder could sell on their share to another party and you would just update your share register.
This means you dont have to provide any guarantee and the purchaser has a saleable asset.
You have a very interesting scheme and I would probably invest.

@Maggot
Shareholders are naturally free to sell their share to someone else.
Another nice feature of The BIG Deal, as opposed to other BP schemes, where you (usually) are 'locked' into the deal forever.
I've already previously in this thread¦, when discussing a 'buy back' option, said that you could always sell off your share to someone else (maybe even for a lower price).
All that it takes is that I get a mail from the 'old' and the 'new' shareholder.
It matters nothing to us, to who we 'pay out' the BPc's.
Should we 'disallow' this, there would be nothing stopping shareholders doing it 'behind our backs' anyhow, by, the 'old' shareholder, simply passing on the BPc's to the 'new' shareholer.
So we are making it easy for everyone, and simply making it an 'official' transfer should anyone wish to do so. BIG Lottery

Of the 7 shares sold, 3 are lvl 2 Battleship shares and 4 are lvl 1 Battleship shares.

The BIG Deal is still moving along, shares being sold left, right and center.
Remember - Taking part in The BIG Deal means that you wont have to wait for those last pesky shares to be sold (as seen with so many other BP sharing schemes), before the BPc production gets underway.
The 'clock starts ticking' as soon as you have deposited the ISK for the share you are interested in.

it is a pleasure to be a part of this deal, and i dont think they could have made it any simpler on the investors end of it.
anyone looking for a Battleship Blueprint deal should think hard about this one, you will all round. you get a constant supply of copies, and yo can also purchase the original in the future.

Happy customers => Happy TornSoul
I have lately been thinking about asking our costumers to do some 'review' posts on The BIG Deal, seems I dont even have to ask for it.
Thanks Guys.
The reason for me wanting to ask, is that several potential customers have asked for references.
But as I've told them, I feel obliged to not reveal any customer names, unless been giving express permission to do so - should go without saying that discretion is part of The BIG Deal.
Also, as I've told them, any reference *I* could give them, could simply be a 'setup', so it's better to 'ask around' instead really.
So once again - Thanks guys for posting.
A quick update: 14 shares sold sofar 6 lvl 2 Battleships 8 lvl 1 Battleships.

And you'd expect more than one copy???

@FZappa Research wise there is no advantage to The BIG Deal over other partnership deals, or getting an original yourself. The time to do research still has to be done - BIG can do a lot of things - But work magic with time we can not

Umm.. 15 hours per copy * 10 investors in a BP = 150 hours spent in lab copying each week to produce required copies.
24 hours in a day * 7 days a week = 168 hours.
IF the BP never sat idle while waiting for someone to wake up and put it back in the lab slot, they could technically squeeze one more copy out of the thing per week, but if they gave it to one partner then the other 9 would scream foul. Get real P4nts.

so i was right , after paying for the share there IS 1 month (at least)of getting utterly nothing for your cash . the return rate for your investment is thus much slower then noted in your post , which should include this info .

Pretty far of actually
If you buy an original yourself, and you dont get a single BPc within "1 month (at least)" - You are doing something very very very wrong....
Please go check up on BP research times - you obviously dont have all the facts. I can recommend EVE-DB.
FYI each shareholder chose for themself how and when they want research done to their share, and when they want to have copies made. Same as if they had an original themself BIG Lottery

So if I got a share in an Apoc blueprint how long would I have to wait to get my first copy? 1 week?
After 1 week what would be the ME on it? Level 0?
This post is confusing me now... I assumed I would just pay the money, wait a week and get a BPC with a ME of 5 or higher because it says: "Each '1/10th share' of a BP you buy, means you'll get one 1 run BPc each week (ME levels will vary - goal is at least ME5). "
Am I right or are the posts above twisting my mind

Nemiyen,
Tornsoul will answer you soon with the exact ME level of the Apoc BP.
I am guessing that the Apoc BP is at least ME 3 by now and will be continually researched as the "lack" of demand of shares allows. Getting the ME to L5 is a priority; as it is with all shares.
Thank you for your interest.

It wont be long before we will have to buy *another* Megathron original (or Scorpion - gonna be interesting to se which ones comes first), because of shareholder demand.
Please tell me how I can ensure that the 11th megathron shareholder get ME5 from day 1, from a freshly purchased Megathron original.... and the 12 and the 13th....
As with good cooking - it takes time to 'get just right', same with BP research
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: "BIG can do a lot of things - But work magic with time we can not"
So No. You do not get ME5 right of the bat. Impossible to do - we (and thus the shareholders) have to spend time researching the prints - just like everyone else.
The BIG Deal *is not* a shortcut to gain ME levels faster than otherwise
What it is, is: - A way to get into the BS BP market alot sooner (less ISK) than if doing it on your own. - A way of not having to look (and wait!) for partners. 'The clock starts ticking' as soon as the ISK hits my wallet! - A way to have a trusted 'entity' (BIG) supervise the manufacturing and distribution of the prints

should have enough for my 3rd share in a week or 2.
slowly working my way up to the original, and making plenty of isk along the way.
a great deal if you are looking to get an original, and make money from the copies along the way, instead of trying to save 1 bil isk, and get no rewards along the way...
either that - or look at it in the long run, after 2 months or so, when you have broken even, its an extra 10-15 mil in your pocket per week for nothing :)

26 total shares sold. 13 lvl 2 Bship shares 13 lvl 1 Bship shares
And we've reached the 2B mark as well, in a frenzy of buying last night.

All 7 of my previous shares we were having you research to ME5 before delivering copies, so we have not yet taken delivery of any of the shares. What happens if we bought the last 3 shares tonight, but told you not to research at all... do we get the original tonight ? If so would we get an unresearched original ? I guess that wouldnt be the end of the world as I could have my own research people do the research.

As many has probably experienced, the new changes in EVE (ooc: patch) has ejected all BP's from the lab slots.
BIG's BS BP slots are of course no exception.
I would like to ensure our costumers, that the delay in BS BPc production this has meant, will in no way effect you. You will recieve your BPc's on schedule.
As we dont live in a perfect world, we have always been aware that some 'hickups' might occur along the way, and we have planned ahead for this, by having a 'buffer' build into our production schedule, to be able to cope with the occasional loss of production time.
That *all* the BS BPo's have been ejected at the same time is of course unprecedented, but luckily our buffer is BIG enough to cope with it
So once again to all our costumors : You will recieve your BPc's on schedule.

Anyone saving up for a BS BP share for x-mas?
Currently 58 shares have sold in total. 21 lvl 2 shares 37 lvl 1 shares
Whats really pleasant is that two parties has already secured all of their 10 shares. I hope we will see more of those in the future. BIG Lottery

Quote: As many has probably experienced, the new changes in EVE (ooc: patch) has ejected all BP's from the lab slots.
Shouldn't that be ahead of schedule since all jobs were completed? The research phase would be markedly reduced... just curious. |

The answer was no. Even though I was willing to just take an unresearched original rather than wait for the final shares to be "researched" to ME5, it would have thrown too much of a monkey wrench into the plan for BIG to do that, so Im waiting patiently till the 31st, which is when im supposed to get the ME5 original. In the mean time im still collecting copies from all my already researched shares.
Not that big an issue (no pun intended). I can kinda see where they are coming from.

Most of our BS BPs are making copies.
As all of those where ejected, and it took some time before they got installed again, time was lost. On the other hand some research completed early.
So we won some time and we lost some time - with the ammount of BP's its impossible to say excatly how much was won or lost - It's a 'gut feeling' that I overall think we've lost time.
The post was simply to ensure that no confusion would arise on the issue of us being able to deliver on time or not.
We pride us self in delivering what we promice. BIG Lottery

The BIG Deal is mostly created in order to allow those else not able, to get a chance of owning (a share at least) of a Bship blueprint. Everyone else is of course welcome to take advantage of The BIG Deal as well. I would like to offer the following service to those partaking in the BIG Deal: Buying of 1/10 Shares from players that need ISK NOW.
I actually don't know if this is an issue and I bet most of the investors in the BIG DEAL are in for the long run like me, but if anyone needs to raise FAST ISK I am willing to buy thier 1/10 share at 80% of face value for either Amarr battle ship and 60% of face value for others.
Notes and Disclaimers: Myself and my corp. are not affiliated with BIG. This is meant to help out distressed holders and not take anything away from the deal being offered by BIG. I myself am a holder of several 1/10 shares with BIG and am very happy with the service and support provided by TornSoul. I am trying to complete Amarr ship originals and would look at this as a benefit for me (lower cost of a share toward my goal) and someone who has decided that they have enough BPCs and/or fulltime BS building is not for them and they need their ISK for something else. This is not meant to be a burden on TornSoul and transfer of shares requires BIG approval. Last disclaimer - availability to support my offer is limited on my wallet....so if you need to sell multiple shares we may need to negotiate time for me to sell minerals.

CCP changed the max duration you can set for an escrow mission to 7 days. I think it was to get rid of some of the escrow spam, or at least make it more annoying for the people who do it. Its not BIG's fault.

Trust me, noone is more annoyed about this change to 7 days max than I am...
7 days is simply to short IMO...
Every shareholder have recieved the following text attached to the usual payout mail (and will for a week or so yet)
Quote:
IMPORTANT : Escrow missions now have a max duration of 7 days. We will not be putting up the prints again, should you fail to pickup the escrow before the time is up, and the print(s) will become BIG property
There are actaully several reason for why I dont want to have to re-make misions.
One reason is the obvious one - It's even more work for me...
Another one is that I have no way of knowing which missions are not picked up... Sadly the wallet entries only tell me that a mission has been collected, but not by who (why is it that with any market transaction the name of thr buyer is in your wallet - but not with escrows )
The effect is, that when a missions times out, the BPc simply lands in my hangar, and I cant croscheck my wallet to see who has picked up their BPc's and who has not.
So someone *could* (not saying any of the shareholder *would*) take advantage of this, and claim they havent picked up their BPc while infact they have... I have no way of knowing.. So I would open up myself to be 'scammed' if I agreed to put up timed out missions again...
So to not 'tempt' anyone in the first place - I prefer to not leave open the option in the first place.
7 days max s.ucks... BIG Lottery

I know it by now is an impossible long thread to look through - But the question has actually been answered before many times.
There are no shortcuts to ME levels via The BIG Deal.
Everyone has to put in the time to get their share researched - ie. everyone starts at ME0.
Just the other day (4-5 days ago) I had to buy our 3rd Megathron Original, becuase the privious ones where 'sold out' as it where.
How would we be putting out ME x copies from that original right away? Cant be done...
So - Once again : The BIG Deal is *not* a shortcut to ME levels - You'll have to 'sacrifice' the time it takes to research it.

Today is the 6 month anniversary of The BIG Deal The BIG Deal was first announced to the public on 2003.10.08 (see the first post in this thread)
Celebrating The BIG Deal we are 'upgrading' it. Many (impatient people?) have over time asked if it wasnt possible to get ME5 BPc's straight away without having to invest time researching.
Now you can
For an extra price of roughly 4%-5% you can now get BP ME5 BPc's straight away with The BIG Deal
Tier 2 bships : 25M ISK (per share) ontop of the share price Tier 1 bships : 15M ISK (per share) ontop of the share price
(We've opted to keep it simple - and have one cost for all of the tier 1 shares and one for all the tier 2 shares.)
If you plan to buy multiple shares (or indeed go for the original over time) - One approach could be to pay the fee for the first one or two shares to 'get of the ground', and then *not* do so on the remaining shares (unless you are constantly running out of prints ofc).
It's entirely up to you, which (and how many) shares you want to start at ME5 or not. Also - You can do this in any order you wish as well (ie. 'mix&match' shares you start at ME5 or not)
Please note that it *could* occur that we for a particular print (for a limited time) will be unable to offer the 'ME5 straight away' deal. In the highly unlikely event of this occuring, you will of course be informed of this before any deal is finalized.
(Warning - Math below ) At a first glance this looks like a 20% to 24% extra cost per share (depending on the share) But it's actually not as bad as that
You have to remember that you are actually getting extra BPc's for the 15M/25M ISK 'fee' - 2.9 extra BPc's to be excact (the amount of BPc's you'll get paid out extra as opposed to waiting for the research) You are in effect buying 2.9 BPc's with the fee.
This translates to the following price per (extra) BPc Tier 2 : 8,620,690 ISK Tier 1 : 5,172,414 ISK While this is slightly over current marketprices for the prints - It's not by a whole lot.
It's the difference between the above BPc prices and market prices thats the true extra cost, *not* the 15M/25M.
Remember you are making a lot of the 15M/25M back by selling the extra BPc's you get (or if you use them for building - You likewise save some money (=earn) by not having to buy those prints on the market).
But be aware it's ofc still an extra cost - and you should consider carefully if you cant wait for the research to get done instead (That would be my personal choice any day).
But - If you are impatient, you now have the option of getting ME5 prints right away. BIG Lottery

Question: Are the current issues with fountain space going to interupt deals or is it still possible to invest in this great offer without any interuptions? "I Live in my OWN LITTLE WORLD....but its okay, they know me HERE!"

It's business as usual guys. All the shareholders recieve their regular "harvest".
Contact Tornsoul about getting into the program - though I'm not sure how eager he is to sell more shares.
Remember running this stuff is somewhat taxing on his time.

Uh - been awhile since I've paid attention to this one - bad me... But... I've been kinda busy with those "issues in fountain"
As Slam has already posted - It's "Business as usual". Any situation in Fountain (or elsewhere for that matter) has no bearing on The BIG Deal what so ever.
So yes - The BIG Deal is still going on (and will continue to)
Contact point for info regarding The BIG Deal is as always yours truly. Prefered contact is via email : [email protected] Secondary via ingame direct convo. If you *must* you can ofc use the ingame mail as well.... (Could we please get folders for our inbox... I got like 200-400 contacts in there (and no I havent actually counted them) - now that the "sort by unread" is broken its a nightmare... So please dont use it to reach me unless you feel you *have to*)
Ops a bit 'off topic' there... (one of my 'pet grieves' atm...)
Oh and yes we(I) are still glad to sell shares - We are getting very near to that 100th share sold - so dont be shy BIG Lottery

The original price was 75M isk. I now ask 50M isk for my share. Please evemail me if you are interseted. __________________________________________________________________________ May I recommend a Cybernetic Subprocessor?.. That's an intelligence implant, sweetheart.

I'd like to clear up one of the most common misconceptions about The BIG Deal.
The (sofar) 20 Billion ISK is not 'owned' by BIG - ie. it's not the 'property of BIG'.
It's the property of the shareholders - BIG doesnt see as much as 1 ISK of the 20 Billion ISK.
It's *all* invested in more Battleship Blueprints - Owned by the shareholders.
For The BIG Deal to work at all, BIG is actually sinking a substantial *additional* amount of our *own* ISK 'into the pot' (billions!)
The reason that we have to do this is that BIG is 'paying' for all the 'unsold' shares. Whenever a print gets 'sold out' (ie. 10 shares sold in total) and the next (the 11th, 21st etc) share gets sold, BIG has to go out and buy a new battleship blueprint - Thus BIG has to 'front' the ISK for the not yet sold 9 shares.
Over time as more shares gets sold in that particular print BIG ofc 'makes back' the fronted ISK.
But with 8 different types of Battleship Blueprints, there is never a time where 'the books balance'. At any given time there is always some (large number of) shares that BIG is 'paying for'. "On average" that would be 5 shares per print (actually 4.5... - Think about it ) 'Worst case scenario' would be that we would have to front the ISK for 8*9 shares
I hope that clears up any misconceptions about BIG simply pocketing the 20 Billion ISK - It's actually quite the opposite, BIG continually has a large amount of ISK tied up in The BIG Deal instead.
Oh and - Battleship BPo #25 was purchased yesterday BIG Lottery

number 12, thats me !!
for those wondering if it's worth it, here how it worked for me: cost of DOM BPO 625mill (basicly NPC price) i think i bought my original a bit faster than most, but i still got 11 me5 bpc's, basicly free of charge, as my BPO only cost the normal 625mill.
In total i spent 625mil, got a dom BPO, 11 bpc's & saved a months lab time (reserch to me5 then making 11 bpc's). so i made out great , Thanks BIG.

Lol ok. It did not take one corporation to flood the market. It was a collective retarded effort by everyone. :) Supply and Demand, it is a *****.

And the funniest part of it is all you people THANKING THEM for robbing you!
Who needs fiction? This stuff writes itself.
Lol ok. It did not take one corporation to flood the market. It was a collective retarded effort by everyone. :) Supply and Demand, it is a *****.

Old thread, I know, but I have to say I'm fairly intrigued by this.
It looks like a pretty good investment, considering there's liquidity in it since you can sell your share to other people, of course.
But, what are the advantages of actually owning the original BP rather than just getting 10 shares each week instead?
Though, could be fun to have my own Armageddon BPO to build and then sell... But alas, I already invested a significant portion of my capital into your bank :)

I don't want to sound negative or anything but...... The biggest scammers build up peoples trust first before the major rip-offs. Here is a simple example. Hey could you loan me 1 euro? yeah o.k 1 euro is nothng. A week later, could you loan me 10 euro's? Yeah sure i trust you, you paid me back last time. Some weeks later. Hey man could i loan 10 euro's my friend, sure buddy (he always pays me back so unusual for someone to do that, I like this guy and trust him). This could happen 50 times b4 the sting. My friend i'm really stuck i need to loan 1000 euro's I have no one to turn to you know you can trust me i've always paid you back. He then disapears with the cash. Sorry but BIG reminds me of that friend. Call me cynical and if they are honest then good luck its a good idea.

If any one corp can be trusted in Eve, it's BIG. They have an amazing track record of honesty and doing the right thing. I endorse this 100%.

Sorry guys, yes this is a very good and honest deal, but this thread is way too old. If the OP is still doing this, they can create a new thread with some updated details. Locked.
