Just EU? What about esa countries, like Norway and Switzerland? (Sorry if this has been asked, can't be darned to read all the pages.)
Not that I could apply, missing entire subscription and I'd like to finish high school/uni first.

Can you guys tell us anything like how many people you're getting and how many you have atm?

Thing is if people have heard back they will be sworn to secrecy, since people arent allowed to know a dev's actual main account name. We need to wait on word from CCP.

I'd be applying if I matched the requirements - like character age and such - but I'm not sure the other guys in the office would be able to stand me anyway ;/
I guess tho I'll send in my application anyway... would not mind working there, since I'm also eager to learn how to do 3D modelling nicely, which I could possibly bother the content development team with during my off time (5 minutes I spend going to fetch coffee and coming back, every 5 minutes or so...) :D

Probably too late but i have just sent my application.
I only have an active EVE subscription for almost a year, but i've known about EVE before the Beta started, wich i have played.
Have 2+ years working experience in customer support (e-mail and phone)
I have been jaded about the possibilities of EVE, ever since i have read a Dev interview where someone stated EVE would be based heavilly on the old hit ELITE :)
I live in the European Union (Portugal), and ready to move anywhere in the EU, i actually think CCP needs somene with a real natural tan around :)
I am 29 years old.
I speak, read and write fluent English.
Willing to relocate to Iceland and co-habitate with 2 other interns
I do not have any detrimental marks on my game account(s) or any kind of warnings on my forum history.
Hope to get picked as this would be a fantastic time in my life to change the scenery.
already thinking about packing... Ready to go to Iceland tomorrow. |

yeah mailed it in a bit ago too,
I do meet all the requirements, been playing since beta, so would be cool.
Have been living in a student flat with 9 mates for the past 6 years so down
scaling to 3 should be nice.
Now just hope ccp think the same :)..

Dunno about iceland , but here in holland it's actually required to respond to an application, even it is just to say you didn't get it. Usually they put in some reasoning as well. Is supposed to help when you go for your next application interview.

Besides, the ccpgames.com website clearly states that only successfull applicants get a reply:

I dont think a reply is strictly vital to all the emails, however a GM poking his head into this thread saying "All positions full" would be nice, it seems a few people are putting their lives on hold waiting to hear back about this.

Putting one's life on hold about a *chance* at employment is rather silly.
You should rather be in a position where you could drop everything you had planned for a change of plans, as would be the case where CCP might only let those accepted have any clue as to what's going on.

but still. the question is valid i think. would be good to know about progress. after all some of us are unemployed atm and ppl are onto me to start working for them. that means i have to buy a car = not going to iceland. so atm i am trying to avoid answering them

I'm sure there'll be some sort of notice, either a devblog mentioning the new GMs (like that one froma few months ago), or some goldbar post mentioning they have filled all the slots.
I'm more interested in when they'll do some pre-emptive hiring so that those of us outside the EU can apply. I also still wonder what they mean by the detrimental marks. forum warnings? GM warnings? Both? Altho they're probably something that, if you have them, you know you're not going to get looked at for employment.
/me is still curious about those #s for GMs this time last year, and GMs now.

I just heard back from Helgi, he will be contacting applicants with a status update over the next few days.
Please keep in mind if you do receive an interview invitation or job offer, it would be in your best interest to remain discrete. I think it would be a shame to see someone disqualified because they announced an invitation or offer on the forums, in-game chat channels or eve-mail.
The GM internships will be filled from this batch of applicants, the positions are no longer open. More internships will be open in the future. The Dev blog will be edited to reflect this.
