They dock and stay docked, moving to Sisi for testing and tactics/fitting research. Sounds like a plan - hope the BRUCE folks get some good tactics down and come back to relieve MC of some good loot!
To everyone: come on... it's not like the first time MC have taken a contract on a target who didn't undock (EV anyone?). At the end of the day, it's all about having a good time. Solid fights = good times. I think BRUCE may be somewhat surprised what they could pull off with a 27 vs 17 in their favor... Give it a go, guys!

If I understand it correctly, this "war" is taking place in Empire. If MC manages to take an NPC station, I will be extremely impressed. And so will a few GM's.
I'm rooting for the good guys myself! Though I haven't figured out who the "good guys" are yet.

But I'd seriously doubt the wisdom in following the ENEMY logic.
Find your own ways to fight them instead. I'm rooting for you.
Actually your alliance although similar really gave it a go and splatted my deimos good and proper, at the end of war thread a lot of members were saying how much they enjoyed the experience. Have been on both sides and it really does make one feel alive in game if you embrace it as your pvpers said. Once you set up to replace ships easily, i.e. corp insure and replace etc then the fun can really begin.
Obviously, that was our decision (and I'm not really speaking for the alliance, for the record. Hello Elsebeth *wave*).
It was still not influenced by what you asked us to do. We didn't put up any POSes for you, either - and one Corp was trying to (but we talked them out of it).
Sorry about the Deimos. It's always a pain to see a good ship going down.
My rooting for your current targets is really mostly based on my understanding that they seem similar to us, and hence underdogs. I always root for the underdogs.
In the spirit of that, I really hope the MC will survive the Group of Death come tourney. Honestly, YOU CAN DO IT!
Lastly, sorry if this all came out a little irritated-sounding. As of recently the whole Mercenary business is grating my nerves a bit. Even VETO is doing it now: Ahw come on. Pirate like real men, you scallywags! --

Why, the Emperor (may he live forever) is the good guy, of course. His Imperial Majesty (may he live forever) judges with infinite wisdom and a deep faith in justice. Only He, the Emperor (may he live forever), can be the embodiment of all that is good. Thus all should listen to His Imperial Splendor's (may he live forever) words and callings and follow those words with perfect faith in His (may he live forever) righteous judgement.
As for this being an Empire war... BRUCE might live in the illusionary security of the four (heathen) empires, but ]v[aelstrom resides in the birth place of His Majesty's (may he live forever) Imperial Home, Maelstrom Prime - I-NGI8 - Immensea, far from the (heathen) Empires of high sec space and protected by our faith in Him (may he live forever). The Emperor (may he live forever) is our shield and we are His (may he live forever) sword.

And, IMHO, I'd rather be chillin' in a warm station drinking gallons of Quafe, eating Long-limb roes, with Exotic Dancers by my side vs. being all curled up in the fetal position floating around in ice-cold goo looking at nuudie magazines.

Hmmm, that may be the Emperor's only mistake... he hired the Minmatar to build his first home/palace. We ended up with rust plated taps instead of gold plated. Let me tell you, it is kind of awkward to wake up in a room that is made of ducktape and rust plating. I suggested he ask the Amar for a proper palace, at least they know how to provide him with the right amount of pomp, but he wouldn't listen. He obviously went for the cheaper deal, the cheapskate.

But it's not really dictating what you're doing in the world of EVE, I mean why stay in the station for hours, you might as well log off and do something else.

Hans.. As to the logging out, I dont know about BRUCE , but at times when being camped in I often would toddle off to the pub, out for a meal , watch a film or even go to sleep, and was often amused to return a number of hours later to find the campers still waiting on me .. I recall doing the same thing when i was in TRG and TBSV had a contract aginst us and our allies (SFHI,OFCOM) and camped us in the station regularly, Station camping is boring, but I give Merc here and the rest of TBSV respect for at least keeping it fun in a smack free friendly local chats etc..

I was fortunate enough to witness a 1v1 Typhoon vs Typhoon battle in Aeschee today. Here we go, I thought, MC vs. BRUCE, mano a mano.
Without naming names, I'll tell you I was surprised to see the character with 2 years' more experience than the other disengage and warp away. There were no other pilots within range to assist either combatant.
How about a little less forum grandstanding and a bit more action?

With all due respect if you are talking about the possible fight where, you said something in local afterwards, it was 5 (including 3 frig size) vs about 18 (including 3-4BS plus 2 HAC) we were hardly going to engage that now

Why not? Seems like it would be alot of FUN.
In all seriousness, it seems some folks are willing to pass judgement on the other side's FC in gauging what is fair and what is not, but are unwilling to admit that they, themselves, also gauge fights beforehand as well.
As soon as you admit that you gauge fights for "reasonable chance" you have given up any moral ground to stand upon, in judging others and telling THEM what is reasonable for them.
Seleene, I agree. This IS tiresome. I flew 20+ jumps from heimatar in hopes of seeing some of the top PVP'ers in action. Hopefully there will be action tonight to go with the popcorn.

If you are referring to me, even partially, please re-read my replies. Fun is trying to find a way to fight, not attempting to avoid fighting. BRUCE has already admitted it's their strategic choice not to seek engagements. We have not expected them to fight us against overwhelming odds. That's why we haven't brought the numbers.
The perception of an even match varies, obviously, and partially explains why there have been no major engagements; we compare (or focus on) numbers, they weigh in T1/T2 and skill points.
Lastly, I don't think either party appreciates alts attempting to flame what has been thus far a respectful thread. ---

No I wasn't referring to you. In fact, I think it would be awesome if some of MC would read your post.
As far as finding a way to fight, you guys admitted yourself that BRUCE did undock. Isn't that finding a way to fight?
Furthermore, I don't consider it flaming when trying to point out inconsistencies in another person's post. I don't recall insulting anyone, and if I did, I'm sorry.
