Edited by: thoradh on 04/12/2006 01:01:17 When jumping thru a gate the camera gets reset to close-up zoom on ship, can you re-set the behaviour to the way it was please i.e. the zoom level stays the same after jumping thru a gate as before? Cheers!
Edit: BTW DEVs you got a LOT of new things in that work reeeeealy good! Like watching local is now much less tedious, a boon for 0.0 dwellers. The new map is really good too, although the lag between view changes is not exactly what we'd like, its overall much easier to use once you get used to it. Lotsa changes will of course upset some peeps, usually its the high differences peeps who will love the changes, persevere people and soon all will be well > > Noli illegitimi carborundum! > |

Any chance you can have a look at the color schemes of corp logo's? As reported after deployment, our logo has changed into 2 different shades of yellow, that used to be the same.

Other than that, GREAT RELEASE!!! Can't wait to see what will be revealed (pun intended) in the upcoming patches.

I guess you receaved the message now eh ?

Is someone forgotting to re-apply the configuration, as it seems to happen only after patches, which normally follow with unschedualed DownTime which effect corp standings.
PLEASE ADDRESS.
I have to second that. Even after petitions, bug reporting, and general *****ing the dev and ISD I chatted with have no idea this is happening. Is this some evil plot by CCP to prevent more research slots...jk.
I'm begining to think there is something all to sinister also about this, seems odd it always breaks after extended DT for patches, which led me to thing it was an actual setting for the DEV's, so the natural progression doesnt get disturbed with the excess DownTime's.
However i got a GM reply back saying they are aware of this, yet the issue is still there..

Can we split tagging so indervidual squads can tag there own group with wing commanders tagging for every squad under them
And fleet commanders tagging for the whole fleet?
current the problem is if 3 people wish to tag durning a level 4 missions 1 person has to sit in the fleet commad and gets no bonuses as not all in the one squad, this is assumming you dont have the Fleet command skill of course.

That's QFT!
It is sooo cumbersome that a corp has to set standings to every single corp in a friendly alliance. So much in fact, that it easy to run out of free slots (250? smt like that)
What is the point of not adding it to the game tbh?

You guys really need to do something about the new map system. Right now it¦s just clumsy, and it feels a little ad-hoc.
- Lag/load time makes the zooming far from "seamless". - The text labels just pop in. Not very pretty. - When entering the system map while warping, the worm hole grapics stays on the screen during the transition. - It would be nice to be able to zoom out to the system map for instance using ctrl+mouse wheel.

It seems that the moblie laboratory (pos labs) are broken. I've onlined one (after patch) at pos within 4 jumps from a npc station. It's impossible to install bpo's for research or anything else from corp hangars in npc station. Installation gets stuck at the: "Calculating Quote" Getting quote from installation" window. With that, I will need to relog as it's stuck. That was a waste of 90 millions :( Can it be looked into pls.

Surely the BPO has to be in the same system as the POS? Last time I checked you can't research things in a slot 4 jumps away from where your BPO is located... As far as I know the only exception is that you can do it from NPC stations in the same system as a POS.

Well...is it? My first remote lab tbh. Someone said this could be done but I wont sell it for more than I bought that :)
Scientific networking allows for starting remote researching up to regional. I assumed that this could be done with pos labs as well.

So, let me get this straight...
A. Not only will the wrecks not be identified by has/does not have loot, they won't even be automatically set to 'inspected' if someone actually inspects them? Do we have to manually do that too? And how is that any different from having to tag them?
Or...
B. Is that in addition to an automatic "set as inspected" when we open them, so that we can relinquish criminal flag rights even without being in range to actually inspect them?
If it's A, thanks for nothing, if it's B well nice but not really of much use.
Is there any intention to mark wrecks based on content of loot or lack thereof, or are we looking at a permanent looting nerf? ________________

it works just like with station research you cant start an research job in another system be it a mobile lab or a NPC lab the BPO must be in the same system for mobile labs and in the same station for NPC labs _______________________________________________

If this means what I think it does, then thanks for nothing (as an above poster said).
I did a lvl 4 mission yesterday, killed around 50 ships, and around 5 of them yielded (crappy) loot. Before, I had only to go to the 5 cans and see what was in there, but now I have to visit all 50.
You gave us tractor beams so we could loot faster, and now you take that ability away again. Real nice you're consistent... NOT!
You may not realise this, but the excitement of sometimes finding good loot in missions is a LOT of what keep people doing them. The missions themselves are the same over and over and over and over again, with the only variable part being that just sometimes you find that good item. Now, you're replacing that with a long row of disappointments.
Not your best idea this one I think..... Mark the bloody wreck according to whether there is loot inside it or not. The 'toggle' thing can be done with tags anyway, so you're not adding anything new anyway.
Edit: Alternately, make every wreck contain SOMETHING. Reduce the bounties and put items in instead or something. Just make it worth people while to go to them.

I'd rather have decent bounty certainly then crappy loot maybe.
