I posted a thread last night which linked to an image from a private forum. I shouldn't have done so, but I did.
I selected the wrong character. I wanted to do it with a different one, but forgot to select the right one. I'm sure we've all done it, but this doesn't excuse the action, just brings it more to the public eye.
I made a mistake by posting it, I simply didn't think it through, didn't think about the ramifications, or that I would be associated with one side or another. Whatever my feelings may be, spiralJunkie is no longer just my face, he's in the public domain, and I should have thought about that.
As for CYVOK himself, or ASCN, I'm sure enough that I've made it clear over the last six weeks that I bear no ill feelings towards them.
Again, apologies for not stopping and thinking.

Hopefully now the witch hunt can end. I don't fancy another 6 page thread full of "OMG I feel way more violated by SpiralJunkie than you".
Also, since it entered the public domain, anybody got the link? Hate not knowing what everybody else does.

as for me apology accepted, I know I post with my alt sometimes by coincidence. (I wanted to post this with my alt lol but it'll get deleted)

Well tbh i would just like to see what Cyvok wanted to say in here not in their private forums. SJ yes u are correct u should have thinked before posting and triple check the char u used to post.
i dont like the way this whole thing got revealed, and perhaps if u wouldnt have done it, someone else would done it anyway that however doesnt remove the blame from ur shoulders.
All i want now is to ignore these damn threads about cyvok and read a thread he wrotes himself (if thats gonna happen after these things).

We all make mistakes. Good to see someone taking responsibility for their actions. It's understandable tho, after all, titans going pop and alliance leadership resignation is big news. Hard to keep a level head when history is in the making around you.

Yeah, he done the right thing with the appology.
Even if it was pretty crass to do the cross post, realistically someone was going to do it anyhow - the means are irrelevant to the end in this case.
Besides, it is just a game anyhow and most people need a reality check to remind them that is all it is before they jump all over people out for blood. Even if it was somewhat unprofessional, it was still most likely an honest human mistake. We all make them so just remember that. So as an Eve player, apology accepted; however I don't speak on behalf of anyone else.
And to be honest, you still must give credit where credit is due for the Eve-Tv events. It is quite enjoyable to watch and very unique from other games so it is yet another thing that seperates Eve apart. Keep it rolling.

A forum is a place for debate, conversation and news at best, but this is a game.....
Regardless of who posted it we got some news and it looks like it was public enough to begin with. I havenÆt read it personally but I can guess what it says. Ultimately this is a game, you take it to seriously you loss. If you want to axe a head cos your angry I suggest you take a step back and think about what your angry about and who your directing it at. If you want a bulls eye then aim it at me cos after all i was shooting at the titan.
Sucky mistake Spiraljunkie I done it once along time ago on a trade forum. Nice news btw which people like to hear, but alas as usual I heard it long before I saw it on eve-online ;)
DonÆt place your head on the block because some bitter people want a execution. They want that they can find Bob in game in AZN.
I dont post much but the unavoidable human attitude of the scape goat hunt stirs worrying emotions about people who are supposed to be playing a "Game"

id imagine an apology goes a good way within the eyes of ASCN, but ppl werent just annoyed it was an EVETV char posting, ppl were annoyed because it was supposed to be something more private. The fact it was an EVETV character simply added to the reasons why ppl disliked it being posted.
Out of interest Spiral, whats the name of the character you meant to post with?
