Originally by: Black Scorpio I have seen it on my system only when I am watching a movie besides Eve AND I open Internet explorer 7. For some reason, when I open IE7 and browse for a little bit, my CPU spikes to 100% and stays there, the game drops very low in fps.
The solution is to only to relog and watch a movie :) lol, no IE7 :D
At least that's what i found works for me, maybe the devs can look into the workings of memory requirements working with IE7 at the same time..
I browse the forums constantly with firefox with no drop in fps at all. You should try it. :)

I had the same issue but i had a possible unrelated issue. My windows installation is now hosed i PRAY its not something the client did, but i had closed the client due to this issue and the program would not relaod in anything nearing normal time. So thinking maybe i just needed a reboot i went ahead and restarted my computer. It shut down normaly and then never restarted. I tried to repair the drive using the restor feature, and windows chkdsk tools to no avail.
I am now rebuilding my computer, lets hope its not Eve that hosed my filesystem.

Made a 20 jumps-tour with autopilot, still heavy fps-drop after some jumps.

Originally by: Doxs Roxs I can attest to suffering from both the client lag after numerous warps as well as the lag that occurs when NPC ships agress me on missions.
The lag after warp was horrible when I warped around doing some shopping with an alt in empire space. By the time I reached the pipe to low sec and 0.0 to drop the stuff off for my main to pick it up I was lagging so bad I could hardly do anything.
After a relog it was solved, but as soon as I started to warp around it got gradually worse again. This is a new problem for me and it did not behave this way last week.
The problems with the NPC agression lag is something that has been more and more visible the past couple of months. If you enter a mission with a large amount of NPC ships and they all agress you get a huge lag spike. If you enter and only a few agress the lag spike is smaller, but it is still wery noticeable.

a yeh, i can say i've have had the NPC agress freeze, a few rats is a small freeze and as you say, large amounts of agression and it is unbearable, actualy lost 2 ships to this.

Well, my fps don't drop to 2fps no more, but it's still not ok. I used to have a fps off around 45 in space and 54 docked. Now i have half off that. This means i can't run my second account on the same computer anymore. Also what i notice now is that the fps really jumps up and down. Going from 10 to 25 just by aproaching a gate. I even tried clearing my cahce again, just to make sure it wasn't that.
