Post Kali i've had this insane client lag striking me approx 5 minutes after i log in.
MY computer should handle it but the game runs on like 10 fps
Any solution? Reinstall? Delete cache foldeR?

yeah my corps having the same issues
the only way to fix it is relogging, but the fix is only temporary.

I have been having this issue as well, but it just started today. For me, revelations has been smooth, but now I drop from 126fps to 6fps in the first 10 minutes. Close Eve -> Restart Eve and everything is fine again. Until 5 minutes after then that is.

Hear hear! The same thing has happened to me too. Starting today. It happens occasionally after I jump through a gate or open my map. The only way to get rid of it is to restart the client.

We've just been on a fleet march thru the low sec Sinq Liason pipe and after every jump, your frame rate halved.
If you logged and reset your client, your FPS would return, only to be decimated again every tme you jump.
This was happening to pretty much everyone in the 10+ man fleet and on a wide range of pc's with all sorts of different CPU's, GFX cards and setups.
Eve is like a new girlfriend - you know its going down at some point, its just when and for how long. |

Revelations hasn't been smooth for me, this problem has been since it was deployed. But it wasn't this bad, It's only been excessively bad today and made eve totally unplayable.

Getting the lag as well and it only started today. Hopefully the downtime patch will fix it

yup its crap today was alright all things considered yesturday but tonight my fps is at 7 sitting in space pathetic really.
im in torrinos area and peeps in pure blind and deklien are having same issues

Yea, the lag has been very intense, and it only started at about 6:00 EST for me. Very strange.

I've had the same problem; started today. I thought it was the new ATI drivers I downloaded a couple days ago.. but I guess it isnt.
Eve will be fine for 5 minutes.. then lag (not internet lag, computer lag). Restarting my computer seemeds to fix it temporarily.

Possibly same issue... I had this in a 200 man fleet battle, and dropped to 1 frame per 2 minutes. I didn't really think of relogging, as I was being shot at. Lost a dread because of it, wasn't scrambled or anything when warpout command was given, was aligned full speed, just couldn't click a damn thing (could register 1 click per 2-3 minutes). Waiting on petition (ship was lost solely to client failure) but I'm not at all hopefull, as client issues wont appear in logs.

There's a big thread in Known Issues about it. The common themes are that:
- It just started today
- Logging out and back in solves the problem temporarily.
- It might have a correlation with making system jumps.

I would love to see a bounty pilot get some friend or an alt to pod them to collect the isk if that resulted in a two week delay before their 'personality' was uploaded to a new clone. |

indeed normaly I get lag issues in jita or if in a system where a large war is going on ... so pretty normal/stable
but right now simply traveling/transporting minerals gets me lagged down to 1 frame a sec or less basicly all symptoms described here ..

10 jumps and I'm down to 1 fps, reboot and back up to 40 10 more jumps back down to 1.
Was working fine through most of the day so I'm not sure what changed this evening.

25 Jump on auto pilot, client was chunking by the time i came back.
380+ MB and climbing. Got to be a Mem leak somewhere.
Maybe something to do with large fleet op going on down south. This is first day i've seen this problem.

Same here .
Its starts after 5 min in to the game .
I see my CPU usage going down to 50% and get real bad lag .
Then i need to relog and everyting is normal again 70 or 90% CPU usage .
Then after 5 min the same troble .
It started to me 2 hours ago .

I'm geeting it too and it started today, was just fine before. It seems to come when I make a few jumps, then it starts. If I stay in the sation it seems to not happen. |

Same for me, started today. Few jumps in Empire and it becomes unplayable. Restart Eve and it gets to usual framerate. Some jumps and same problem again.

Dear CCP,
Rather than having everyone upset about it, we don't know if you know what's causing it, but just to step in and say "we're working to fix it" will make us feel better.
And maybe giving us an idea of what's going on - and when you can fix it - would be nice too :)
