Well, where I live both ways are accepted. It usually depends on who manufactured the clock. Some use 24:00 and some use 00.00. 
I was nit picking really, but I've never seen it as 24:00 don't mind me I'm bored at work

couple things spring to mind.
a proper test would need people to be out in space, travelling around, going from system to system. (There will be a fear of stuck characters) - possibly not use main character
i'm certain the numbers will be boosted now with people getting second accounts.
But the real influx of real new players won't happen until they do this re-released next year |

7 dec the date of a new era what will happen in the aftermatt if we get 10k online eve shall be rising and making news each day after that .. but if we fail (a crash at 7k) or only 4k ppl online shall eve go down? who knows only the future can tell us that lets hope it works .. EVE needs you
i think we go up to 7k maxx offcourse its possible and it wouldt be great if we do but i think we dont
in reply to the 100 vs 100 battle why not have 1 at sunday in sarum prime pirates vs empire no personal war just a strenght test (laggfest)

LOL, now THERE'S A CONTEST! Best fleet shot! Makes perfect sense since hopefully corps will have more of their members on at the same time than normal. This should be interesting, I can't wait. Now that I know there will be competition FMI will have to try and come up with some unique formations. Good stuff!

You could also temporarily quit your own corp for a day, which would automatically place you back into your original noob corp. Then you could shout out to the new players with your main.
