I currently don't have any available remaps, but I will get one in about two months.
If I select the remap as my x-mas gift, will I end up with 2 remaps in two months or will I still just have one?
One remap is useless to me... need two so I can remap back after a short while =8 |

thats usually how it works. last time they gave out remaps they stacked (up to a certain amount like 3 or so) |

I would like to know the answer to this too.
I know at one stage i had 2 remaps available but we were all given a remap and at that time i already had one waiting.
It would be helpful to know if we select the gift remap whether we'll still get our 12 month remap as well when that is due. |

Then counter would count if you have remap and every year you would get remap even if you have one (or two/three/four) = chars with ****-loads of remaps. |

In the Attributes tab under "Neural Remap Available" it says "Now", which a corpmate told me meant that I have one left. But ive been in eve since remap got introduced, and only used one just in the beginning. |

I currently have 0 remap available and will have one available Jan 25th, 2012 (a month from now)
I don't want to blow the awesome chance on a remap when I'd get 1 in a month... but if I redeemed the remap gift then receive another one on jan 25th next year, I'd totally pick the remap :) |

I really hope it doesn't just reset the remap cooldown or add to stored remaps. My next remap is up in January 2012, so if it just lets me get a remap one more early its quite underwhelming compared to what most people could get out of it .
Same thing happened last year with the learning skills removal remap. Thought it was in addition to a remap I had due in a few months so I went with an Int/Memory remap to finish off a few skills, then got stuck with that for a year.
Oh well, worst case I get to go back to Perc/Will a month early. |

I'm not sure I understand the objection here. What does it matter if you have some or none before selecting this gift? If i have none now, I select the gift, get the remap, now I have 1. A month from now my anniversary comes and I get another remap, now I have two. If I just had my anniversary yesterday, I now have 1. If I select the gift, I will then have two.
Am I missing something here?

It's not based on anniversaries: it's based on time-since-final-remap-used. This is important because new characters get 2 remaps, but the third one won't show until a full year after using the second remap.
In previous remap givaways, the new remap killed that one year timer, so if you are going to get a new remap in, say, january, you may as well pick a destroyer you like the look of. |

This is what I want to know. The remap is the only thing I'm interested in, but I'm due for a remap on the 28th of next month. I don't want to blow my 1 year timer to save a whole 12 days on my pre-remap plan. |

So I have a question because I'm still a bit confused. I have a remap coming up on January 6th, if i choose the gift of a free remap, what will happen to the remap i have coming on the 6th?
Will i have 1 remap available on the 22nd and then get another one on the 6th or will this just reset the timer on the remap i already have and shorten my wait time by 14 days? |
