Especially because the char was created in early 2005, according to his employment history. Now I may not have trained everything at max speed but a char younger than me at over twice the number of SP, without a break on my part, hmmmm.....
EDIT: Nice to be able to see the amount of money I spent on skills, I'll be big in that catgory one day( first titan skill next month) EDIT 2: I think he just uploaded again, looks a lot better now.

Nice new category
But obviously, all the Titan pilots out there haven't posted their char here, cause they would be the ones at the top if they had
Wow, i haven't realised i had spent that much money on skills before seeing it here and thats not even counting all rare skills real value, which must be worth over another 2b by themselves, well, not gas cloud harvesting anymore... i've spent 400m on it and now, its worth less than 30m -----

A few XML's are either borked or been doctored as a few people are showing more SP in learning than is actually possible.
A quick suggestion from me and feel free to ignore it is that you purge character data after say three months. Reduce the load on the server a bit and if someone hasn't updated there data in three months its pretty meaningless anyways.

I believe it has been said before in either this or other threads about ineve.net, but those XML's need not have been doctored with. Appearantly, this is before I can remember, there was a bug which would continu training a skill even if it had actually finished. If that happened to a lvl5 skill you got more than rank*256k SP in that skill. Of course it's going to be most obvious for people who have this problem with their learning skills, because just about everyone knows the maximum number of SP one can have in that category(21*256k = 5.376mil).

There was a bug quite a while back where the skill was showing 'completion imminent' but carried on training and amassing points, hence a few older players showing a 'few extra points'

Im 100% sure that i did not promote this or any char at your site. I would not send my char xml to you, or anyone.
Why would someone add my char there, and why didn't he/she steal my eve-ISK too ?
This sounds very fishy to me. as the char info is up to date. i would never give my eve acco & password to any site.
I request immeadet removing of my char info, and i'm very curious why it is there at first place.
are you working with evemon developers?
as yuo have several complainments about people claiming they have not added themself, makes me wonder..
damn, i hate this. -alanee'a

How do the proposed changes to the XML file affect inEVE.net? Has anyone even bothered to discuss it with you? (thread on general discussion about it, will link to it if I get time) ---

Oy! I seem my much longed for horizontal alternating background colors are in!
Looks great! But there is a small vertical gap at approx 3/5 of the screen width. I can't make out if it's intentional or not.
Here is a screenie of what it looks like for me.
(I'm running Opera 9.20, full screen at resolution 1920x1050)

It only puts the background color in the cell space, but like anything there's ways arround that. Wasnt intentional but is how it behaves, but there's ways to not have the gap, takes a bit more code.

I tried sending this to everyone but after the 2nd batch gmail thought that i had enough and doesn't let me send any more emails :|
Greetings Friend Pod Pilot,
I thought this to be a important update and didn't want to risk it going missed by you.
It was requested by many of you that it should be possible to update your character corporation and photo, something that until now was not possible without writing to me.
This is to address the following situations:
- Character changes corporation and should not still keep having privileged access to members skills or the member list - Character changes corporation and wants to have privileged access to new corp members skills and the member list - Character changes his portrait and wants that change reflected on the inEVE photo
Photos are cached locally due to past lack of reliability of the CCP image server we now cache character photos.
The Character information is mainly for the feature where you can list fellow corp members and have special access to their detailed skill information (something you can set using the settings section). Due to security concerns i chose not to use the information provided by the XML , instead i get the information directly from the eve client on registration and now update it getting the information from the eve client and with your authentication.
What is required on your part is that you keep your character information up to date, you can do that by going to http://ineve.net in your IGB and selecting "update", you will need to set the site to TRUSTED and then verify your identity by providing your character name and password (password for the ineve.net website), and that's it, you only need to do this at least once every 30 days. If for some reason you do not want or are able to do this within 30 days of the last update, your ability to login to the website is temporarily disabled until you do a update.
This DOES NOT limit you to update your skills (except if you have it set to require authentication for xml update) or do anything else that you do/use the website while not logged in.
This restriction will be put in place on the 12th of May, giving you aprox. 2 weeks to do your first update.
Hoping for your understanding as this is the most secure way possible to do this with current available eve resources.
I leave to everyone that wasnt able to view the latest issue of EON a jpeg of the full page inEVE ad that was on the magazine.

Best Regards

I just noticed something that surprises me. It would seem at least some skill prices in your database( or whatever not much of an expert there) are wrong.
This guy has the amarr titan skill trained, however he only has 2.7bil isk invested in spaceship command skills and 4.1bil in total, according to your site. Which is weird considering the titan skill alone costs 5bil isk.
When I checked one of my alts I noticed some other skill only count for 90% of their base value, which is logical since that is what they tend to sell for on the market, but that doesn't stop me wondering about the price of that titan skill. Any explanation about the price difference will be appreciated.

I found the problem, the field was set for INT(11) that wasn't enough to fit "4500000000" inside :) i have increased it and fix the titan price, that should change the top10 considerably.

This has passed from just people being silly to idiotic.
It's very rare that a day goes by that i dont have emails or evemails from people complaining that:
a) "I put" their characters in my website without permission b) I hacked their computer and put their character in the site c) They don't know how they got there d) And when they see the registration process for the website complain that they wont give me their eve password e) And now even the ingame character update , I get messages saying sorry they wont put their eve login/password.
a,b,c) Is caused by people that clicked the ineve.net sync in evemon that comes disabled by default ; theyr friends have their accounts in evemon and activate it ; or their friends just uploaded their xmls and told the owners to check the site to see their chars
d,e) No where do i ask for your eve login and password, it's like any other website on the internet where you register, but in the case the login has to be your character name, the password can be anything you want And i expecting people to "get confused" specifically say in my email "verify your identity by providing your character name and password (password for the ineve.net website)".
Half of the people are polite, but the other half are just rude, they shout, they insult me, and basicly I'll just start deleting those.
I see myself getting petitioned for hacking soon because people keep complaining i hacked them and put their character online.
I might seem funny but it's really not.
(dont mind me just blowing off steam)
