Admiral Iceblock just can't have 92m SP, it's just not possible with the attributes he have considering that advanced learning skills and +4/+5 implants weren't available for a while after the game was released
There is only 3 type of chars that can have more SP than Dr. Caymus, the type of Dr. caymus, obviously (Gallente Intaki with an intel of 11 and a mem of 13 (before skills and implants), a Minmatar Sebiestor like Allen Caine with an intel of 14 and a mem of 8 and a Minmatar Brutor like Barbicane but with a perception of 14 and a will of 9
The 1st 2 types would be specialized almost only int/mem and mem/int skills while obviously, the 3rd type would have trained almost exclusively weapons and ship skills
But there is no way in hell that a char with a perception of 7 and a will of 10!, or a int of 8 and a mem of 8 can have 92m SP right now, its just NOT possible!
So, its quite a good fake, but a fake nevertheless...  -----

Has nothing to do with integrity,just that it's mathematically impossible to get there with the attributes he has,and knowing when +3/+4/+5 implants became available,as well as the advanced learning skills.
The only way for a balanced char to get to 92 million sp on his timetable,would be if +5 implants,as well as the advanced learning skills,were available from the very first day the game was released back in 2003,wich isn't even close to the case.

Hi,
I'm the process of verifying his skillpoints with the basic api key, unfortunately by the request of the person I had to use a 3rd party. The 3rd party has received the api key, and will let me know tomorrow.
Not to worry the 3rd party is Chribba so we can be assured that the 92mil will be verified. The character reputation seems solid, I would ask everyone to refrain until I can post the result tomorrow.

Hi,
here's the result of the the basic api key verification.
The character Admiral IceBlock does not have 92mil skillpoints and neither is he above Dr Caymus in skillpoints.
Before this confirmation I did a check on the character age, and checked all his skills confirming the amounts of skillpoints, ranks and levels, in each skill, everything seemed legit, also the character being the ceo of a VC corporation combined with the knowlege there are characters with more SP then Dr C. according to a old dev blog.
I would also like to thank the people who contacted me and posted here on the forum with their math :) you guys are the "skills police" :) and make sure we all continue to have accurate information as possible.
There has been in the past people trying to be #1, but all of them where clearly fakes, this one was a different case.
In light of this incident I'm going to push live the API key update this week adding a "Verified" tag to each character profile.

Just got one question, is there anything we, the skill junkies using ineve, hwill have to do to get our chars verified? I'm asking this because I never used my API-key for anything yet.

It'll be as simple as adding the API key information in "Profile" and clicking "enable", that's it. After that the site will regularly download your character skills xml from eve, and you'll no longer be able to update using evemon or the old manual xml. At any time you can go to the "Profile" and disable it, by disabling it, the verified will disappear and you'll be again able to udpate using evemon or the old manual xml.
Note: the api fields still are not publicly visible, I will make a announcement this week when it's ready.

Nice work, Sara. I had no doubt that you would reach the correct conclusion. We've discussed theoretical maximum skill point levels in depth in the past. Given all factors - available character attributes, advanced skill/implant implementation timelines, specific skills chosen to train, extra "activity" points earned early in the game's history, etc. - I would estimate the theoretical maximum points for a balanced character and for a focused character today to be approximately... hmmm, I better hold this thought until your API feature is added...

Sounds good. Got another problem atm which occured first yesterday. Everytime EvEMon updates the skill bars are missing. You can see the skills and skillpoints, but the bars indicating the level are empty. XML upload works fine.
Anyway sounds like the new version wouldn't need EvEMon anymore so this is not a major problem i guess.

Evemon support will always continue. I think the problem you'r experiencing is realted to a proxy you have filtering the images, to your browsers cache, etc. There's no relating to evemon and the skill bars.

Look at it, i have tested it on 3 different machines in 2 different networks now and i won't see the bars on all of them for my char. Unless i log on to eve-o and generate the xml und upload it, then everything is fine. Every other char i checked i can see them.
Everytime i synchronise using evemon the bars are empty. But the update-timestamp changes, so it should have received something? I also tried to install evemon on another machine in another network and synchronise from there: same problem.

The xml's are deleted when they are parsed, what I'm guessing is that i'm not able to correctly parse the xml for some reason, you wouldnt be russian (or similar) or japanese/chinese or some other more "diferent" language? I'm asking this because my only guess atm is that there's some localized characters in the xml that's causing the general problem. Evemon is used by many dozens of thousands to update their skills, never encountered your problem until today.

No, i am from germany. It worked for me and my other chars fine until now it stoppped :( It affects all my chars afaik. First i thought my evemon ist damaged, but as i said i tested it on different machines.

Continuing the good rhythm of development of late, after introducing updates using the API, as promised you can now use the API to create your account on the site.
The process is very simple:
Stage 1: You enter your API User ID and Key and it's validated
Stage 2: You select the character you want the account for, type your password and email. Please use a valid email, as that is used for password recovery.
And that's it, very straightforward.

Sara, how often are the chars updated when they use the API? if it's many time / day, won't it cause a problem once there will be thousands of chars using it?
Also, would it be possible to add the newly trained SP in the skill being trained to the total of skillpoints of the chars?
These SP aren't showing otherwise until the skill being trained complete a level or a new skill start to be trained
If the new SP of the skill being trained were added to the total of SP of the chars, when the API update chars, we would have a real picture of how many SP the chars have, otherwise, a char training a high rank skill to lvl 5 could be months without any change in its SP total -----

That would make a list with a really large amount of people being able to fly the same number of ships. You'd probably have 2 or 3 people with a diferent number on top 3, and then from 4th to 50th with the same number, from 51st to 500th the same number. I dont think it would make a good stats.
