VeNT Minmatar Freelancer Union Unaffiliated	Posted - 2007.01.30 15:45:00 - [91] Edited by: VeNT on 30/01/2007 15:42:43 ok strange issue jumped to system, CTD, restarted client, logged in, launched scan probe from my probes scan probe launcher, nothing the probe LAUNCHED, I can see it in space but the launcher didn't update/show 1 less probe. also my AB doesn't show as running, and when I click my scanner and tell it to analyse using that probe it doesn't change to the counter. also tryed deleting my cash etc but nothing. no exception showing up. -------------------- Selena 001 > has VeNT left system? its gone really quiet!
Krell Vashari Caldari Black Knight Buccaneers Sparta Alliance	Posted - 2007.01.30 15:52:00 - [92] More of an annoyance than a bug, and obviously to do with the new overview NPC setting options; every time I do a mission where there is an NPC that drops mission specific loot, it doesn't appear on the overview. I have to find it by panning the camera, right clicking, and add it to overview. Normal NPCs show up fine, just the most improtant ones don't. Very irritating! ---------------------------------------- What is worse, someone who complains, or someone who complains about complainers?

If it does i can only assume there is soemthign wrong with the install you have on the machine just now. I think you can work around this by unchecking then rechecking all the overview options. We're still looking into the issue that's been picked up in the log file though. well i can certainly try it but i dont see that as a problem because i can log my husband into my client but not my own character in. i also logged him in first n all was well, then myself n thats when it all went BOOM wich is why i find it so weird.

The maintenance period should not be extended to deploy the patch. The following issues will be resolved: The old machonet cache did not expire after patching the client. This has resulted in a number of errors. Changing colums in the overview settings can cause the client to crash to desktop. Since the patch changes the executable, your firewall may not be allowing the modified program to access the Internet. I've usually seen "server status unknown" when the client can't connect to the 'Net because of firewall or network access issues.

I have tried several times and it just keeps increasing the download total...now it's at like 129mb. It will download for about 5-10% then crash. It will usually resume where it left off but the last time when it finally completed i couldn't get the autopatcher to actually patch. I'm downloading a new client and will try it again.

Might just be my crap system
