Strontium being being lumped in with "tech 2 items" in the probes.. sorta sucks.. However, for those of you asking for refunds on what you spent. I found a way to get a refund without whining to ccp.
Put it on the market.
Overall, I am happy about it because now I can build and use probes cheaply and not get upset when I spend 10 mil on probes only to find a mission that has virtually no rewards.

Originally by: Agem Arees Edited by: Agem Arees on 30/01/2007 20:07:09 1) It seems thas some mission NPC were moved to "Mission Generic" group, which is not appearing in overview by default. It is possible to add these ships manually by right-clicking and selecting "Add Mission Generic ... to Overview", but I couldn't do it through overview settings - I simply couldn't find the checkbuttons for this group. Maybe this would be resolved if the cache was cleared, I skipped that part for now.
Could you list an example of what NPC's these are please?
Angel Webifiers - Mission Generic Frigate
Also, was the change in salvage volume supposed to help salvagers or traders? B/c now I'm getting drops of metal scraps from Angels where before I was not...resulting in harder to manage volumes of salvage. Traders though get to make more profit even though they don't have to spend 1.5 hours salvaging larger missions while the salvagers just have to deal w/ the same headaches. Just looking for clarification on the target demographic for this change is all. I'll make do either way.
Mercs Rogue Agent
anything now named Generic mission npc. And they drop metal scraps I've never ever gotten a metal scrap from a mission before.
why would angel webifiers be changed? they were fine before as angel small wrecks.
metal scraps= bad bad bad bad
edit: I cleared the machonet folder after installing the patch before playing and there simply isn't an overview checkbox for the new mission generic group.
They should show up under NPC > Mission NPC please uncheck it and check it again and see if that works.
Ok, I shopped around and got a mission against mercs.
That works, unchecking Mission NPC and then rechecking, the Merc Elite Fighters showed up on the overview saves that I hadn't already right-click updated.
But it made me notice that Merc Commanders are listed as "Mission Minmatar Republic Cruiser" while the frigs were generic mission frig. and the merc commander wrecks say "angel medium wreck".
10m3 mostly worthless metal scraps are not good. you expect them from crappy player wrecks, not missions. I'd rather get nothing than those things.

Ok...great. Is it possible for us to know exactly how that worked ? Same corp only or could the carrier be from another corp or alliance ? Did it apply to ships in the POS bubble or in Ship maintenance arrays ?
A clarification would be nice since we have had ships go missing from our POSes a few times...
Not even a comment ? Ships disappearing from POS for no apparent reason should be a hot topic. Does this mean then that ships that have gone missing can be petitioned for reimbursement as they have been stolen through an exploit ? _____________________________

Well, if I can sell it for the 5k a unit that I bought it for that's great. If not then I'll be whining to ccp like everyone else.
Instead of making the sites worth finding, they decided to aggrevate the players by making their items worth 1/4 what they paid to build them. Why not just put warp beacons on them to make the probes that I built totally worthless!

Well, then give me a list of what else requires Stront to build besides npc probes.
I need something to build to get rid of this stront and competing with a npc that has infinite supply isn't the answer.
I don't fly dreads, I don't have POS's that go into reinforced and I'm not going to sell it on the market for less than I paid for it.

Any ideas why my total skill points seems to have gotten stuck? I have a skill running since yesterday, and also use EVEMon. Both the game and EVEMon report same time to completion of skill, but game character sheet says im 100.000 SP less than EVEMon.
I checked the character sheet every hour or so but total skill points still seem to be stuck.

The total skill points don't updat until after the skill has finished training, if you change the skill you are training or cancel your training.

Ok, I just searched the Item Database and the only thing that you build with Stront are the @$%!@&* probes that are sold by npcs!
So CCP what do I do with the 500,000 units of stront that I have sitting in my hanger????????
Stront is already down to 3500 per unit and is still dropping like a rock.

I am having a problem with the new patch with respect to the in-game graphics. When I am docked in station my ship skin is no longer visible except for the blue flashing lights, this seems to happen at different levels of zoom also. Another part of the issue is that all the character portraits are corrupted for both NPC's and players.
I have tried the following to resolve the issue: Deleted the cache folder. No fix Deleted the MachoNet folder. No fix Uninstalled the old Client and downloaded the Full New Client from CCP Rebooted and installed New Client and insured all old directories were deleted prior to install. No fix
I've submitted a screenshot to the bug report, but if you need more info drop me a mail. Is there something else I can try or should have done?

technically from a roleplaying standpoint how can snowballs melt when ice for pos fuel not?
Snowballs were only as big as your head. these took 2 years to melt.
Ice for POS fuel is 1,000 m3 a LOT bigger than your head. Thus takes a LOT longer to melt.
They were removed due to the number of people using them to coax people into shooting back in empire space and thus, getting concorded.
When did EVE dev's become carebear lovers
Atleast give us a heads up on this kind of stuff next time. I can't even go into high sec but have been carrying these snowballs around forever incase I ever wanted to have some fun. I would of used them up had i known you were just going to take them.

you made it a horrible pain to fly a complex. thank you for that.
im now sitting since 4 hours in a plex that i usually run in half an hour. because of the key holders do not respawn at all.
believe me i have better things to do than watching 4 hours the screen and waiting for a game that sould bring me some "fun".
this is no "fun".
i suggest you to rethink the concept of your products comparative advantage. "pay for boredome" is not really a magnificient slogan tbh.

Confirmed, i have the same problem :-/
Keyholder/Overseer respawn time (6/10 in my case) is broken. Friend of mine was waiting more than 6 hours today and the last stage still didnt respawned...

Edited by: Gen Maton on 31/01/2007 03:49:30 Edited by: Gen Maton on 31/01/2007 03:49:00 Small bug I noticed earlier, but still present. (Just bug reported again).
Rigor Catalyst rig is not giving an explosion radius decrease to torpedoes. It is increasing the explosion velocity. According to forum posts, it works correctly for cruise missiles (previous to build 29239).
I do not know if the rig was not supposed to affect torpedoes... if that is true, the description needs to be changed (and it IS affecting torps, just in a weird way).
See SS.

Yes, but not right next to it.
"Trash it" is also moved in the items right click menu. "View market details" used to be next to the separator. Now "Trash it..." has somehow slipped underneath it. Gonna have to keep my eyes open for that now.

POS low-fuel notification evemails appear to be sent only to those who have been explicitly granted the "config starbase equipment" role.
If you have that role only because you have a title that grants it, or because you are a director, then you do not get the notification. That also means that directors can't ever receive notification, because you can't individually grant roles to them.

This issue occurs if you resize the date column and prevent the full date from displaying.
It causes all other data to stop displaying until the date column is widened again, allowing the full date to be seen.
Then the rest of the data reappears.
