Were you idle at the time you warped? or were your moving around and clicking on things in your overview? 2. Check your logs for the warp initiation. Also been in gangs and fc warped us to a gate we landed at a moon. Fc swore he had warped us to gate xxxx we just thought he's made a mistake reading your post maybee explains it darn now i'll have to say sorry for calling him a noob :). I'd bug report it sounds like a few ppl have had this happen to them. ps systems were quite laggy when this happened so could be related.

USN CVN72 Caldari Interstellar eXodus R0ADKILL	Posted - 2007.03.03 20:52:00 - [34] well if this happened in fix space hell i can beleive anything is possible down there... but honestly it sounds like in two different occasions somone within your gang structure is warping people to hostile pos's. only explanation is you have a spy in your gang or your gang leaders were trying verify if they were lagged by clicking on space to see if your able to move then accidently clicking near a moon which so happened to be a hostile pos... its totally possible and it has happened 100 times in this game... USN

Aggroed a nanophoon, had 15 guys jump me, so i warped to a planet, planet 6 to be exact. Instead, i ended up at a POS with a small bubble, which was not even near planet 6. Petitioned, no response, but the SS and logs show me warping to planet 6 and ending up at a bubbled POS. -1 Stabber Fatalix IS RECRUITING!

Have cost me a few t2 drones and almost a retriever. I hope it's not some trigger happy GM playing games with ppl. ...now in RED

I dont know how to reproduce it (and haven't tried) but it's always because I am accidently clicking a few times on a moon when I am moving the camera.

I been warping myself & gangs for yaers yet recent iv found my gang arriveing at planets on the path of the gate. Yet in gang command mode i have gates on overview & click it there not even in space. Im also well aware the items behind the overview can click instead so im very carfull. It's amazing how people ignore the obvious and jump to ridiculous conclusions rather then admit stupid mistakes (whether it's your own or someone elses in your gang). BOB could you please disconnect your "backdoor" access into the servers and stop warping hostile gangs to your pos to get obliterated? mmkay thanks! Its really funny that the fiorst person to bring BoB into this conversation is one of their friends. I dont see where the OP was blaming anyone. He was simpily asking for an explanation... Methinks he doth protest too much!

But after two, three times I noticed that sometimes if you click somewhere in space you start warping to the nearest moon. Very strange and rather enoying, I had it when we where up north so I think it's a general bug actually. "It is a good idea to "shop around" before you settle on a doctor. He can kill you."

I tried to enforce that I was not making it up and please check the logs. Happened twice. Once I was idling in system in a covertops. NOT in any gang at all. Friendly gang jumps into system, lag spike hits, BAM I am warped to a moon. Luckily I was in the covert and cloaked. Checked and double checked my logs. GM's wouldn't even look using their tools. Second time it happened, WAS in a gang in ED-. I was the WC myself, no FC in gang. Used the right click menu, pointed at stargates, selected 3-F, clicked warp to 0km. I alligned and just as I was about to warp I noticed that it reported that I was warping to a moon. Too late, I was in warp. This time I could foresee now possible outcome other than dying, so I logged off. Petitioned it to a GM, and he said that I initiated the warp to a moon. Now as anyone know in ED- FIX have all the moons POSed. Well they did at the time. So you never ever select going to a moon. I really couldn't even see how I could make a mistake from.... Right Click > Stargates > 3-F > Warp to 0km to Right Click > Planets > Planet 1 > Moons > Moon 1 > Warp to 0km. There is no possible way I could make this mistake. The bug exists for sure. We just need CCP to admit it. Elite Scouting

It just happened to me in P-E with a hauler. exactly what you guys have been complaining about. somtimes when jumping in a system we used to get lagged then insta warp to a safe this i know... But i have just clicked on a gate to insta to ZERO. I find myself at a moon instead... There was lag when i initiated the warp to goto the gate. now this is confusing me ... Just wanted to share my input... thx

They still haven't managed to give us an answer on 'shooting people inside POS shields' topic I also had random warps initiated by CCP , but I was lucky enough never to end up at hostile POS (but it was always a planet/moon I ended up at). Usually happened when I was trying to rotate/zoom things on the screen. We also had a ganglead initiate gangwarp to next gate, and we ended up on random planet/moon (and obligatory "WTF???" on Teamspeak :)). It is probably a feature. It's like that "by design"

System was very laggy from the sheer numbers and bubbles, and then a g fleet jumped into a gate camp from torrinos I believe. E warps galore, Including me ,I e warped straight to a trust death star. So, no tinfoil, it's a lag bug.

(CCP cannot have bugs that serious can they?) Instead try to realize the truth; that there is no bug, then you will realize it is the moon that warps to you. LOL... seriously though.. scarey bug if it is one. Someone needs to have FRAPS on standby... nothing like a video to really get someone's attention.. oh wait.. shooting ships through POS shields.. that was FRAPs'ed and nothing happened because that is a known 'feature' of POS shields... apparently. (note: Still training Advanced Sarcasm to level 3 at the moment.)

I was flying with autopilot on the other day in empire. When I arrived at my destination, I noticed my ships warp drive activate and warp to planet V. Really weird. Posted - 2007.03.04 01:38:00 - [56] i remember this one time, in band camp, we were fighting and at the time the node went down (used to happen all the time when fighting this one alliance...) i was in a SS (on my own, i.e. a private ss with no gang members near to me) and had been there for some time, and yet when i finally logged back in i was sat on the far gate (not the one i entered from or one i had yet been to) in structure and about to pop, which happened about 2 seconds later.

I was traveling with couple off bs¦s for couple off jumps moving in my sniper temp towards ED that was under siege. Couple off jumps before we reached it after warping to gate, huggin it and pressing jump instead off seeing my ship jumping my tempest insta warped towards somewere. I expiriensed some lag while warping still thinking about wtf happened just to see red blinking BoB POS while exiting warp. Lucky for me i bumped as hell from it ending about 150 km away from tower... hitting my mwd aligning slowley becouse off still high speed i managed to warp off on 60% armor. The reason i didnt petition it was the fact i didnt suffer any loss. But after seeing something simular happening to u there must exist some kind off bug. After hitting Jump on gate u sure shouldnt warp to hostile POS.

Now you know. ~Xiao Well it was me that got the reply from the GM...someone else posted it from our alliance chat (dam alts ). I had to have it escalated..the 2 GMS disagreed, then a third GM came along in the thread and said that he would look into how the POS was meant to work. Nothing has been posted by a GM since then. So no one is quite sure if this was how a POS was intended to behave or if it was just a bug they forgot to fix. Did I say bug...sorry Anyway..back to freaky warps... CCP nerfed my sig..but this one has my name in it

Sounds retarded I know, but we had some issues in YM- after the DDD went off with a couple of people warping between moons and ending up outside the station (that was fun when it happened to a carrier with 200 hostiles in system, i can tell you.) Sounds similar, however that was a warp initiated by the player, but ending up at the wrong location. BTW that thing about the DD is something ive heard down the grapevine and i have nothing to back up that ddd's move **** round systems by a bit or whatever, but all my bm's were out by a couple of kms after it too. From nothing to something in just one corp!
