Cannibal And a shuttle can in no way ever kill a Thanatos - MC consider it a kill for the little guy Whether a person self destructing to avoid getting a killmail counts as a "kill" is an interesting debate - but however the debate ends the pilot still ends up back in the cloning station without implants and a blown up ship, so in the end it doesn't really matter. P.S. tiller, Titan doomsday weapons don't work in low sec, which is a shame at it's quite a counter to a pirate camp Max --------------------

True, sometimes we get lazy on the old scan button / watching local (our scout in this instance had no mic lol) and we paid the price ... I think CCP should have 'auto scan' check box... how the hell can you camp and surf at same time otherwise

I dont know why no one saw it coming in local or on scanner... But. In my experiance of gatecamps many things can happen, and in mant RL tends to > EvE. #Drunkennes (EvE drunk is clearly more fun) #Some inconsiderate **** phones you or knocks on your door #The cat has a hissy fit and tries to kill your dog (No that isn't the wrong way round !! Cats > Dogs) etc And back to the original comment, It's not a tantrum is it.. if your dead and you know it why not stop your attacker from getting any isk out of his kill, or a killmail! Yes, if we're able to download human conciousness the moment the POD is breached, insurance companies should be made aware that the ship was purposely self-destructed and not pay the insurance, or pay the minimum as if it wasn't insured at all.

Hell we die lots... however, I see motherships in low sec as currently invincible and IMHO should be seen as a exploit ;-)

Yeah you dont get the kill mail, but you at least know that they lost a billion ISK in ship and supplies and didn't get an insurance payout. I mean, no insurance company would give you a payout if you destroyed your own property, they would go out of business. Otherwise it is just a copout and a way to cut your losses, receive insurance AND avoid the killmail. Chuck Norris pretends to be me.

Ginger killed himself. If you dont have the mail it's because, guess... you didn't get the kill. The MC killboard would seem to be full of manufactured kills then ?.. full of what MC members judge 'should' of been their kill. I've already killed 5 titans solo in a ibis oh I 'should' of won this fight, if this had happened I 'would' of won that fight, if I had been scratching my arse while hitting f keys I 'may' of won blah fight....where do you draw the line MC ?
