this kill was made by Bladerunners only, and about the 'stop i will pay you' local thingie, could be humour, but i'm tempted to think it's not, since merdekka and i already killed her a tempest last monday, and that replacement one must have cost her about 150m.

This one is rich...where to start?
Pu$$ycat and Tank CEO each in a battleship vs. my Velator AND they got me via a JIP camp to boot. That was real fair (no warning, 90% dead by the time my screen came up). Probably cost them more in ammo then anything they got from my ship. (This was pre-Castor and I was too new yet to think that selecting a 'safe' route with my autopilot would be anything but 'safe'...live and learn)
I've tried chasing pirates solo...doesn't work too well. They are too good at running from anything that approaches an evenly matched fight.
And as to griping about it being 'fair' when pirate hunters do this but somehow not 'fair' when pirates themselves do it is like complaining that it is somehow wrong for police to send 15 cops to apprehend one guy like they should be all 'fair' about it and go mano-y-mano with the perps.
Calling Pu$$ycat and her ilk 'pirates' is an offense to pirates. I've run into real pirates in this game and they make it fun. Of course I don't like getting stopped and having tolls demanded of me or getting run off from mining to have my can looted but in the end it is fun and makes the game interesting. What Pu$$ycat does quite simply is live to make EVE a worse place for everyone. There is nothing 'fun' about what she does except I would assume fun for her alone.
Everyone should drop a bounty on her head again...chip in whatever you can afford. make it worthwhile for Bladerunners to make her existence in EVE as miserable as she has made it for everyone else. While she may have been able to buy a replacement battleship sooner or later it has got to start hurting.
As for the "stop...I will pay u" comment she made I have to admit that seems as if it may have been more along the lines of a joke. She's been around long enough to know that Bladerunners wouldn't lay off for that. At least one would think so...

I sincerly doubt it was a joke. BSes are very expensive right now, and last I heard you are losing rather than gaining money on insurance. I don't know. Sadly the two BSes i have 99% on haven't got blown up yet. Maybe it's for the best..

I have been podded and PK'ed by a number of so called "pirates" in this game, and *****cat is one of a very small number who have pirated me with any degree of honour, even to the extent of repaying me 18M isk I paid her not to destroy an Apoc belonging to another account of mine after she destroyed the ship because the payment transfer was delayed by lag. Not only that, after that kill *****cat and Almondriel offered a free pass to that other character next time we met, and they even allowed me to transfer that free pass to this character the other night when we did meet in Aunenen.

So let me get this straight...you lost an Apoc and consider Pu$$ycat 'decent' for returning your 16mil? You are out an Apocalypse battleship (90mil give or take) and all the consideration you got for it was one free pass? Frankly, it was in HER interests to refund the toll she extracted as you obviously would never pay a toll again if she hadn't (not to mention you'd tell anyone who cared to listen and post in the forums that her 'promise' not to kill you for money was worthless).
That's like someone breaking into your house and robbing you of your cash saying they will burn down the house if you don't. you give the cash but through a flub the house burns down anyway. By way of making up for it the robber gives you your pocket cash back and promises not to mug you should you ever meet again (but only skip the mugging on that one occasion).

Skillz you really arnt clever or funny.
To catch such a pirate is a major achievement, not because pu$$ycat is an extremely uber pilot, but because she knows when to run. And you cant blame these pirates, why fight 20 vs 1 battles willingly..
Pu$$ycat (getting fedup with the damn filter) kills many people for no real purpose apart from her own individual fun. This in turn brings a lot of hatred towards her from the people that shes killed over the gates in Aunenen.
A screenshot like this can please many folk, just as she pleases herself by ganking people.
If you feel the need to post every person you've ganked, go for it, it wont please anyone like this screenshot has to many.

I can only hope she had 30 mil or so of implants stuffed in her head. Add to that however many million for a new clone. While she/her corp may have deep pockets sooner or later those losses can catch up to you if the pressure is maintained. At the very least it keeps her from harassing people for a day or two while a new ship is collected and weapons to fit it out.

Tat's a real shame to destroy a BS who is ready to pay... I mean, even anti-pirates have to live... And for that there is nothing such as good money =) I perfectly understand what pu**ycat is asking... By fighting a lot in your ship u get used to it and it's really a shame to loose it... That screenshot has made my day! I've lost 2 ships in 2 weeks to Pu$$ycat, neither were a fair fight and I didn't stand a chance. Anyone who's chased a pirate knows that as soon as they feel the fight might not be overwhelmingly in their favor they just run. Well done to the guys who turned her Tempest into scrap metal.

Well, there hasn't been a thread every time Gr3g died...
I think the reason everyone is so chuffed is because unlike core SI, Pu$sycat played with and like Bio in Sarum, JIPping without offering ransom and usually running from any fight, either to be stationmaster or hide in a safe spot.
This is unlike most SI I've run into, who will often take you hostage and take an expensive toll, and will usually stand and fight against even odds (and usually do quite well).
Besides, c'mon, it was worth posting for the pleading. Hilarious coming from her, really it was.

sounds like double standards to me. whenever the scenario is reversed, SPVD accept the fact that you dont want to lose your ship, so take a payment and let u leave. they dont then start a thread posting pictures of ships theyve destroyed,other pirates dont join in the conversation, and brag about it, and they dont make offensive posts. all in all its just a game.SPVD let their reputation do the talking, they dont need to boast. but when its reversed, u guys laugh at the fact they dont want to die. ok, so they chose that route, and a pirate is a pirate. if youve got them out gunned, then u make the kill, because tbh, a few mill to let them keep their ship is nothing to them. bragging about it is all good and well, but no doubt pu$$ycat has a new ship, and is already out terrorising people again. u guys seem to be doing a good job, but for every pirate u kill there is probably over 50 players that lose their ships. how about making a load of pirate kills and pasting a screenshot of pirate corpses instead?now that would really be interesting!

what is see there is the result of a nicely done pirate trap, where the prey didn't have a single chance to flee. plus you get the bonus on the screenshot to see the prey begging for his life & self destructing his ship, which when you did your homework and know your eve history is kinda ironical. so please all 'carebear-haters' outthere, just do as skillz did, shut it.

It's kind of hard to judge someones PvP ability when we only hear of them ganking n00b's in the same old system day in and day out.
Losing a battleship doesn't make you poor at PvP though, does it?
I've lost one battleship so far and I consider myself pretty good at PvP.

No one talks more crap than Biomass and Space Invaders. Wasn't it Archain making movies fieaturing ForsA victories in Venal? Strangely enough, most of us said, "hey, that's cool...well done." Isn't it Trap from SI who is pretty much famous for his ability to be an asshat in local? Isn't it Christopher Xen from Biomass who posts pseudo-official quack-rants offering his spin on Biomass' opponents non-1337N355?
No one is quicker to criticize someone for running away than Biomass. I have seen it about a million times in various engagements...you fly up to scout a gate in a shuttle, warp away, and the first thing you see on local is "that's right...RUN! (or some variation.)"
Is being a hypocrite a prerequisite to being a player rat? When an infamous pirate gets vaped, it is going to end up on the forums. Just like when ForsA wins a fleet battle, it's going to end up on the forums.

But *****cat is a relativ succesful pirate and I believe he is quite good at what he does. Even if he avoides 1 on 1 fights or whatever. Perhaps you call it weak, I call it smart. (once again, live today, fight tomorrow)
He is making his money by shooting others wich is exactly what a pirate does.
Why can't we all just say, Great job on shooting the pirate and leave it to that?

The difference between PC pirates and PC bounty hunters is that we get 20 podkills every day and PC bounty hunters get 20 per year.
That's why the have a 9 section long 'tread' about how they are cool when using a method and whining how pirates are un-cool when using the same.
Also note that they don't recognize, Evolution, Curse Coalition, Stain Alliace, Fountain Alliace and New Venal Alliance as pirates.
I do however recoginize them as frustrated hypocrits and silly wannabie PKers.

And please, stop that stupid point about pirates getting more kills - gee! We can't just attack anybody who happens to warp in, and pirates usually run a lot better than your victims.

Yes and this actualy make it much harder to be a pirate hunter then a pirate. The pirates can start train pvp from day one. They can pick there targets and be sucsess full. This targets can grow in strengt from day one to uber pirate. But the thing is, they always have a target that are weeker then them self.
A pirate hunter dont have this lucracy. They have to hunt for the few pirates there is. This pirates often have the ships, the skills the modules and the experiece. The step up to be a pirate hunter are by this much higher then for a pirate to be a pirate.
Thats why we love it when our hero in this thread kills a well known pirate. And its also why we dont chear each time a pirate gets a kill.

Eeeh, I have over two million skill points that are not combat releated. Including mining 5/4 and corp management 5/3.
Many PC pirates don't have fully dedicated combat avatars.
Some very well known PC pirates have refining 5/5 for instance.
The argument is moot I'm afraid.

Yeah skills is right, being a pirate takes much more skill.
Firstly when you are a pirate you are always set up for combat,not like other players who have to set up to travel and mine ect. So this puts you at a disadvantage with your average traveller and his cargo expanders (lethal when used right) Also to get a lot of kills as a pirate is very tough, sitting at the same point all day shooting anything that comes through. We dont get to choose what we shoot at, we just shoot at everything!!!
Its hard for us to get high kills, not like a pirate hunter who has to look around for his prey and doesnt just shoot at anyone. Remember also when a pirate hunter meets a pirate the pirate is ready for him and set up to fight, making the pirate hunters job very easy, no cargo expanders on them pirates.
Also its impressive the amount of kills we get!!! Not many players can tear there way through that many shuttles and frigates in a day.
Also a pirate is always watching for a fight as he knows many are after him, but the average traveller is snoozing at the keyboard... I know i fear a sleepy pilot much more, beware its a danger!!!!
So i say more posts about pirates killing shuttles and frigates and players set up to travel and less posts about players blowing up pirates set up to fight and ready all the time to run ok

You think 1-2 gatecamping (@60+km) pirates can take down a battleship? The pilot could be AFK and still live. I've seen cruisers escape without MWDs too.

I, personally got away from a gate camp a month ago in my cruiser with a mwd. That was pre-Castor so I don't know if I could do it now. (One Appoc sitting 60km out in a low empire system)
The point of my above post was to make light of the fact that some of these rats are actually proud of killing shuttles and frigs with BSs. I mean, what possible enjoyment are they getting from toasting noobs in frigs is something that's beyond my understanding. Well, besides a cheap thrill, that is.

Is there really such a thing as a n00b at this stage of the game? given the playerbase has done nothing but fall since the game came out. Most people travel in frigates now due to the limitations of travelling around in a battleship or do so because of agent missions.
It's not a matter of pride killing players at 60km away, it's just another way to have fun and IMO nobody should question how another player chooses to have fun.
From my personal point of view I do it when I am extremely bored and need a cheap thrill, as you said, but I also try to toll people where I can until the pirate hunters show and I run.
