I really don't understand why it was removed in the 1st place. The system map, while nice-ish for using probes, is entirely inadequate for any kind of directional scanning.
Not only that, but the system map zooms all the way in everytime you warp, forcing you to reposition the camera every time.
So yes. /signed and /doublesigned. (and don't even tell me to use "f11" - on a small resolution screen it uses up such a ridiculous ammount of screen realestate for worthless features it's not even funny.

I have no idea why it was removed in the first place.
And make the scanner pick up players again. Was one of the few features that felt like *I* was doing it...not waiting for a probe timer to be up.
