yah BOB and friendlies are so speard out that although they are good at POS spam and POS wars they can hold them systems down.. Once BOB moves MC/BOB main fleet back south anyone can take them systems back.
BOB might beable to hold sov but they can't stop large fleets flying around ganking anyone trying to live in that area.

I think Razor has known their fate for a long time now. Probably since before D2 even packed it in. They have kept fighting though. They deserve respect along with Morsus, even though it's all against them they are still trying to do something.
If their fate is now sealed up. They move, regroup and come back swinging or go take somoe elses space.

Yes you didn't pickup on the fact that MC = BOB's main fleet. I have been fighting BOB and MC for many years now and MC is far better then BOB. I know people call MC BOB's pets (Yes yes it was our "Pets" calling MC a Pet your self now I see) but I think it should be the other way around and it might be if MC was not a Merch Corp.
Don't forget CA fell apart from the inside out thanks too Chowdown & Co. he had a great deal of influance on this and I see now you have him in your alliance. Good luck with that.
We at CA play this game for fun and don't want to worry about having 200 members online at 3am because BOB is attacking and POS spaming a system. So yah you say Tic tock to us but we don't have anything to lose we just login and fight when we want not when BOB wants.

Holding space isn't necessary for an alliance to still exist.
For ASCN and D2, clearly it was; they lost their space and they fell apart.
On the other hand, I don't think RAZOR is going to instantly disappear because they lost their carebear grounds...

from my limited experance with them, RAZOR was always the much better PVP alliance and much more "alive" then d2 was...im sure they will be fine.
It seems to me that only alliances that die when they lose their space, deserved to die in the first place. IRON lost everything, they are still alive and kicking.

i'm new in razor but as far as i can see the morale is good, theres reds to shoot everywhere and also friend alliances to give a hand when needed.I think no space afects more industrial oriented alliances and in times of need u get to see what everyone is made of,who still stands by your side and who turns coat and leaves to join the enemy(alliance and player).

yea if we loose our space we wont just drop dead.. the game isnt all about owning space is mostly about having fun and we sure are having fun having reds every where we look... just bad the game has changed so much about those fkn poses and the supercaps, pos war is like chest always knowing the next move if iĤd like chest i wouldnt be playing eve. me for one donĤt like the idea of siting at pos doing nothing for hours like those pos wars can sometime be like...
p.s hats of for tri they are always fun to fight...

Personal stations are great, everybody can figure that! Soverein systems are good too, but I remember when we were in Querios 2 months ago, it was fun to rat there too and boy those faction rats spawned like crazy... :)
Alliances drop dead from the inside and if it was our case, you'd know it, everybody would, but you don't hear that, because it doesn't happen. We do our stuff and we feel great doing it.
Anyway, thanks for the question, we're fine!

I fought to the end in ASCN and they fell apart as soon as stations fell, morale was crap, infighting, cheating, spying etc. Razor is completely different and in fact I have seen morale, will to fight and all positive aspects of EVE simply get stronger and stronger. Razor is a cool place to be right now and is well alive and kicking.

Thank you for your concern Anope. We're not dead though, and RZR was never built around having space. If A SINGLE corp leaves RZR over loosing Tenal I'd be very surprised and dissapointed. Some individual pilots that abused Tenal sure but less than 10 I would think.
The biggest difference is probably that I just have to rethink my flaming of no-space holding alliances now

Camp is fun. We are learning all sorts of great skills. Our camp counselors really care about us and make sure we are taken care of properly. We have some good friends (MM) in a neary by camp that we improve our skills with almost daily.
Recently we got to leave the cabins and "tough" it in our tents. We are getting a lot of exercise on the hikes we take a few times a day. We sure enjoy visiting with the MM campers. They are a great group! I need to go now (the counselors are calling us in for another hike and skill workshop) but wanted you to know that we are doing fine and should be back to the cabins soon. My friend SigmaPi really needs a shower!
All my love,
Talidorn
PS - thanks for the cookies and pie!
Mom and dad are soooo happy that I'm enjoying camp!!! The promised me more cookies and pie in the near future!

m8 no offence if u dont like pos warefare y are u in 0.0 holding space just go live in low sec and do raids into 0.0
I don't think anyone can truly say they like POS warfare, but for some, this is so simple that they only have to snap their fingers and systems fall within days. We're not there.
On the other hand, none can refute the benefits of having personal stations. We've had them, we've enjoyed them, we'll lose them (maybe all) and then we'll move on, make a plan, follow our leaders (of whom we are proud) and have fun.
Nobody likes POS warfare, but I think everyone knows what sense of opportunity means...

I haven't seen any indication that our brothers in RAZOR are losing their will to fight. Tenal is falling, yes...but I see these guys out there fighting every day. We do what we can. RAZOR are nails and we in Morsus Mihi are very proud to call them friends.
I'm not sure the populace of EVE quite understands what is arrayed arrayed against us at the moment. The sheer number of capitals fielded against us by MC/allies and Triumverate is far in excess of what we have available to us. It's not even close. The sheer number of hostile pilots buzzing around on a constant basis makes it a very tough fight, day-in and day-out. I spent the better part of 20 hours this past weekend in gangs fighting the good fight (God bless Adirmal Wifey who let me do it...heheh). It's fun, but it's also very tiring.
I'm sure there's a lot of people tossing stones at RAZOR and the rest of us Northerners who couldn't or wouldn't go through what the North is going through right now...basically facing insurmountable odds in defense of their homes. Frankly, props to those of you showing RAZOR the respect due them because they have earned it...and continue to earn it.
MC/allies alone are more than enough to keep RAZOR and Morsus Mihi (and the others that remain allied and active in Tribute, Venal and Tenal) busy. On top of these guys, we're having to fight Triumverate, Terror in the System and every other Tom, **** and Harry that wants to come up for a little bit of "fun."
I think it's a testament to the true fighting spirit, friendship and principles of those of us who remain in the North that we're able to continue on in the face of such odds. I think that in most cases, we're giving as good as we get.
Make no mistake, it could end for us any time, but we continue to fight to the best of our ability.

Thanks to all the reds for providing targets, good fights, and a generally smack free local.
Can't stress that enough, this has been one of the most smackless times I've ever experienced in EVE, and serious credit goes to everyone for keeping local civil.

Only time will tell if losing their space will kill razor, but it will shrink them significantly as well as reduce their capabilities. At the moment razor are what they are. An alliance with a small highly skill roaming pvp force. No doubt that those guys can continue to be successful where ever they go. As far as the rest of them, who knows. Seems like they were not meant to be a space holding alliance, but a roaming alliance. I think we are doing them a favor by removing the burdens of holding space from them. Your welcome razor.

Major props to them for being able to accomplish that kind of thing but let's see how you guys do when you're out of the shadow of their skirts? T I T s may have the POSes claiming sov. and they may 'control' the stations, but you never won tenal from us. I respect very much the effort that MC have put in to march through the north and slowly but surely stop all the stations out. But that is about the extent. As for Tri, you all remind me of RZR, dedication to your teammates is unyielding, and I honesly salute you for that. You will win some, and you may loose some, but as long as you stay with your mates you will continue on. I hope the same is true for us in RZR.
I wish the best of luck to all who deserve it.

Well you are correct when you say MC have done a hell of a job in tenal. They are amazing pvpers. Along with them FATAL, M.Pire, panic, vm, axe, and the rest of the alliance have all been fantastic and deserve credit. We couldn't have taken tenal with out them. But if you want to smack me for saying T1TS is taking tenal then lets be fair about it. Razor was not holding tenal. The northern coalition was. Do not act like it was Rzr fighting for those stations. You had atleast 7 alliance defending those systems at any given time.
If you think our alliance does not deserve those stations because we couldn't fight off 7 alliances by our selves then you have the right to your opinion. Just remember it was you, not us who chose for it to be that way. We tried to go up independently and got met by 200+ man blobs every day.
If it was razor vs T1TS in tenal and razor alone fought us off then I believe your criticism would be just. But it wasn't. We made an effort to fight independently. You are the ones who chose to fight this way. Smacking us for a choice you made is kind of lame. I don't know why you think it's necessary.
Also I've yet to see any MC titans. If they have them that's news to me. MC does have a kickass cap fleet though. You are right about that.

I think the references to Titans are directed towards BoB, and not MC. Orange Species and Chowdown both had a strong presence in the north lately.

Still facing the fight we do today our logistics have been far superior to yours up in Tenal. It's not our battlepos going offline is it? TBH I think your allies are already regretting getting in bed with you because A) You can't fight for **** and B) You can't even pos.
Tenal will become a headache for you. Because if it's something we're gonna love in the months to come it is uneasy bedfellows

If your refering to Chowdown and Orange Species, they played a significant role to our tactics on a number of occasions, especially during the first assaults of S-EV, and more recently assaulting OE-4. Do a search on our Killboard if your still not sure, although this will by no means be conclusive.

Anyone who believes RAZOR are dead has their head up their Butts.
The months to come will determine who is able to hold space in the north and who is not. RAZOR continue to bring the fight, losing their stations will have an impact but in their case its certainly not a killing blow.
Best to remember people that MM have outposts 5 or six jumps from Tenal and AFAIK RAZOR has docking rights there. So in effect they already have an established forward base from which to raid and conduct ops.
History in EVE has proven one thing. Until an alliance loses its will to fight it cannot be defeated. You can take their stations but you cant kill the team spirit. I am looking forward to what the future holds in the greater Northwest.

But me suggesting you guys like nanoships = horrible smack. If you think me suggesting that rzr flys alot of nanoships is smack then thats on you. You guys can't really be this insecure can you?
My favorite part is your last post here where you smack me with personal insults and then proceed to cry more about smacking. N1

Ofcourse I smacked you. I responded in kind to your smacking and belittling post. It's the way I deal with people jumping on RZR, only difference between you and me is that I didn't start it nor did i try to say I do anything different.
You should know better than to say the things you did but not expect to be smacked back.

Who's smacking? I said what is true. You guys have a small highly skilled nano/ew squad that will be fine, time will tell about how the rest of rzr will fair. Then you guys brought on a barrage of "OMG WTF UR TEH PET!!!11! You suck at fighting, etc" comments.
What I said may have been not what you wanted to hear but that doesn't make it smacking. Take a closer look at who is really smacking here.
No need to be upset. You will for sure have the time to proove yourselfs as a now space holding alliance. Then you can proove you are no "pet" and do good fighting.
Until then, you know how it is. Respect is earned. Go and earn your respect!
But it's okay. I for one am glad reading so much from you here. Good you use more time on the boards then refueling your posses. I think even MC will agree with this. The longer it takes you for your POSses, the longer MC can stay up here and continue to have awesome fun with us remaining old northeners

I don't remember bob pos attacked after f-t thing.
But I guess you are an expert on pos assaults so explain me how would you win. I nuked(ofc in gang) like 200+ large ones since november 2006, that's like 40/month. I'm quite sure I wasn't shooting at any bob pos, so don't preach about bob spamming.
Oh and that said, I love shooting poses. Non insurable, hardly petitionable and requires work to set up so it's kinda best grief thing you can do. Can't run, can't logoff, however requires defending.
About RZR, dunno, they probably aren't dead but soon quite irrelevant in large scheme of things. They will gank few npcers and logoff as soon as challenge arrives (hi ephemeron), but well ... if harrasment is best thing alliance can do, so be it. Perhaps you should move somewhere in angel territory and start faction war(The clash of nanos ). -------- I tanked D2 capital fleet and all I got was truncated Erebus mail.

Apologies to the alliance i'm in as we don't condone this from our pilots and i took your bait which I would normally ignore. But hey... we all have our weaknesses and mine is a bucketfull of pride for the way Razor/MM and allies have conducted themselves in this conflict and i get a little angry at the way events are so easily misrepresented.
The proof is in the pudding to use a good old fashioned english phrase and the fact our main enemies are giving us thumbs up for the way we fight is good enough for me.
As for ****, well let's just see what the future holds for both of us huh and let the fights be frequent, clean and smack free... See you on the battlefield

*SIGH*
Dude, you are making it hard not to personally insult you. Get some stuff straight for once will you?!!? We are not happy about loosing Tenal. We're sad about loosing it. We spent 50bill on infrastructure there. Maybe some internal asshat is happy about it because he didn't take part in putting that infrastructure up but the leadership has worked long and hard to keep it. We've failed, atleast short term.
What we are happy about is the pvp situation with reds everywhere. Also, there is a nice challenge right infront of us to retake it.
And yes we've always thought highly of ourselves and we defend our alliance on forums and ingame. No crime in that. That almost everybody in the alliance is vocally supporting and not leaving us is proof that we're atleast handling this temporary defeat the right way and that we can come back with very short notice.

Talked to any devs recently mr. badass? Razor and MM will fight to the very end - and for that they have my respect. What's more, they didn't have any inside help. Can you say that about your own alliance with a straight face?
LOOK MOM!!! A TROLL!!! I can do it too.
So how are those legal fees coming?? Make bail? Why do you have lie and try to ruin CCP? Did you buy Russian keyboards so that you can logoffski quickly?? Get any war bonds back? If you talk about respect, how about start respecing the deceased. ..i.. |

The pvp side of razor gets together pretty much daily for some good fun pew pew, and as long as the pvpers have that ( because it is damn fun ) razor as a hole will never die =)

Anyway apart from the odd comments about blobs, when you guys had outblobed us with more than 200 ppl in local at the begin of the campaign, it was a fair campaign with no smack etc (if you exclude some ship names in greek, but thats a internal greek affair).
Typical pos warfare with some good engagments here and there. Had to replace about 20 fighters till now :-)

When you're the invader, you have no right to complain about what you invade and how its defended. It's simple, really.
You chose to invade. Razor didn't say, "Hey, TRI/****, why don't you guys come up and try and take Tenal from us." "We'll totally not blob..it'll be you against us." You got stopped cold by Razor and its closest allies (notably Morsus Mihi). Then, you re-tooled, rode MC's coattails and got Tenal. Even persh recognizes that much.
Frankly...it is what is it. Just don't be thinking that you would be there if it wasn't for MC and the rest of that buch of people you got help from.
On the other hand, I'd have given Razor even money to beat **** back 1 vs. 1. TRI/**** was a lot tougher because Triumvirate bring class and plenty of heavy iron to the fight. Seems perfectly in order that Razor had some help fighting the both of you.
Once again...you picked the fight. Whining about how you supposedly got "blobbed" is out of order. At best, it suggests you didn't think things through when you decided to team up with Triumvirate to invade Tenal.
You know, it speaks volumes to me (and I hope others) the everyone BUT your alliance is showing some respect...even Triumvirate, MC and the rest that have worked so hard to take Tenal away from Razor.

I think is what razor peopole are saying here is that BOB/MC did 98% of the work. Everyone knows on this forum who the power house was on both sides.
You can't count alliances its not like each alliance in the game has a set number. The only thing you can count is the fact MC had 50-80 capital ships online 22/7 with Titan support.
razor keep fighting them because once MC/BOB leaves they can't do anything with out MC/BOB coming back to help.

Edited by: Nesa on 13/06/2007 14:06:10 Respect to RAZOR, they know how to focus. Before they began their 'war on BoB' RAZOR gank squads were daily sighting in Geminate. Even before the war came to them, they stopped and focused on the objective instead of looking for easy ganks (without needing a NAP to restrain them). The same can't be said for some other alliance's PvPers, who really don't understand what goal based PvP is...

Far be it from me to discourage this rightfully fearsome depiction of my Legions of Hell, but I would like to clarify one point - 60-70% of the capital ships that took Branch and Tenal were not MC. My cap drivers were switching to support and taking breaks by that point in the campaign. The hardware to defend the area is already in place and increasing in number daily. We also had very limited Titan coverage and actually spent more time dodging DD's from Janus Drake than trying to drop them ourselves.

This theme keeps repeating itself, yet I wonder if people have taken a good look at exactly who the 'New North' is made up of? In addition to that, I've found that it is inherently easier in EVE to defend than to attack fixed installations like starbases, especially when you can hurt the enemy through attrition and have land to trade for time. The former residents of the area failed to capitalize on this. Considering who the new residents are and the lessons they have learned over the past several months... I doubt it's a mistake they will make.
Just food for thought, fellas.

I don't agree, but to contradict yourself, I'll have to look over the killboard, take notes, rewind 3-4 weeks, at least, gather data, make stats, write them and so on. I'm tired and it will also take no where.
I'll expose the fact that 2 or 3 times we had in Tenal 2 BoB titans, 5 MS (4 MC), 20 dreads and 30 carriers in our system plus 60-70 support. Who's the dreads, carriers and support exactly were, I don't know, but I'll tell you one thing, if MC wasn't there, this wouldn't have happened. It's not only the numbers that you bring that makes the difference, but it's more your quality (MS and skilled pilots) and know-how. Those 2 last factors make boosting your ranks even more feasible than already is.
It's not a whine, not at all, it's just what it is and we accept it in some part and still play the game.

Very good points and while one could quibble with the details, I won't bother and just agree with you that a few of the new entities in the area probably do have some staying power. Would they have gotten there without MC help? I have my doubts.
We have very good records against most of these entities and one of them even had an invasion in progress that was failing until you and your friends arrived.
One thing is for sure, the area in which my alliance resides is going to continue to be a shooting gallery for some time to come....heheh.

Well good points, but since i wasn't there the whole time defending the north, the only thing i can say about one fight and thats the s-e fight, is that i think when you guys invaded s-e the first day, that most of that fleet was a member of MC, at least i think, because i was busy spamming my buttons thx to the amazing lag this game brings when things are started to get interesting.
About the new owners, time will tell, i guess it depends if they are able to keep their posses fueled for as long as needed. But the only thing that i care about is the smackfree pvp fights that we have up north.

Hang about, I thought it was meant to be foyles fault? LoL and you're not CA you were a member of the orginal one, but that laughing stock you reside in now only hold a shambolic hold on a once great name. does razor fight back? -->yes (in fact more than d2 did)
are razor capable to hold/defend space? -->no they dont have capitals or are too afraid to use them , never seen more than 5 razor dreads when they are killing our posses during 2 weeks time
did razor expect from their friends to do the dirty capital ship job?--> yes, and when d2 fell , they knew that are gonna loose their space, but is nowhere near to dead razor drama
some morsus mihi corps are ****ed with razor, and you can deny it as much as you want, but its true.

Hay, its just a game.
If someone plays eve with a group of friends, then has their alliance fall apart, then gets back together for good ole fun times... then props for them eh? Its all about the fun isn't it?

In every major dread op **** had 30% of the allied capitals. Anyway I am not gona debate that, belive whatever you want. And yes **** could have taken tenal fighting ONLY rzr and not 6-7 alliances vs ****. When they killed 2 deathstars at the early stages of the war, they done it with help of rule of three us tz and some mm support. I have yet to see more then 4-5 rzr dreads (most times about 3) and the same ammount on carriers.

Yes, we had a pos go offline about a week ago. Yes, that was a huge screw up but the problem has been sorted. No, that's not going to divide everyone up and cause internal problems among the alliances up here. Keep bringing it up all you like, but we know what you're trying to do and that's not going to work.

True, but it isn't for a lack of offers. The only problem is we don't back down from a fight and we never lever our allies hanging out to dry.

What if it was MC/Fatal/M.Pire sieging your POSes? What would you have done? Leeroy your 20 cap fleet into a fight and get it massacred by 5 MS and the rest? I think you know the answer...

You are right. which is the same reason we had a hard time when you brought in a bunch of other alliances at first.
Originally by: Tearavygh Quillam Once again, stop presenting yourselves into another light, it doesn't work and the only ones you could fool is yourselves.
Well you guys can stop saying we don't deserve the space because we couldn't fight off 7 alliances at once in Tenal without MC. You bring in the entire northern coalition, then cry about us working with allies. It's a double standard. And when you say we aren't doing any fighting or bringing any caps it's a complete misrepresentation of the truth. You guys keep saying "you couldn't have taken tenal without MC/FATAL/M.PIRE" and you're correct on that. But that's because we weren't just fighting razor. You were bringing in blobs of 200+ when we tried to get a strait up fight against you. Very little of those blobs were actual razor members.
So in the same way that you say we couldn't take tenal without the alliance we could say that you couldn't defend your space against T1TS without the coalition. So how about we drop all this silliness and just wait and see how this all turns out?

This theme keeps repeating itself, yet I wonder if people have taken a good look at exactly who the 'New North' is made up of? In addition to that, I've found that it is inherently easier in EVE to defend than to attack fixed installations like starbases, especially when you can hurt the enemy through attrition and have land to trade for time. The former residents of the area failed to capitalize on this. Considering who the new residents are and the lessons they have learned over the past several months... I doubt it's a mistake they will make.
Just food for thought, fellas.
I dont want to go too much into details, but the new north will be like the old, just more naps, cause when you see the new map, you are going to witness that the nap train is now mostly from north to south. This little details will put these alliance in the problem to have no enemies to shot at, cuase they are going to nap each other, the first of the new inhabitants who does a standing reset is going to get toasted by the same train they are currently rolling with. OFC X, Y and Z are not napped to A, B, nor C but somehow there is a relation, so nobody is going to touch anyones space.
So in a few month, the pvpers are bored, leaving or camping low sec with motherships, someone will come and kick your asses, then they will go to the forum, say how mcuh they rock and in fact that are just a few ppl lead by some good pilots, and when this happens we are going to call it
"THE GREAT WAR PART II" just like part one just the names have changed
so in a few month its going to be the same, or we are all playing POTBS or nothign has changed, and we are all singing the Carebear song while mining.

Didn't we just go through this. That's complete bs. No one here is bragging about anything. Also quit trying to paint a picture of you trying to defend your space by yourself and kicking us out while we were hiding behind allies. That is a flat out lie. We attempted to take tenal independently and you brought in the entire northern coalition with blobs of 250+ because you thought sacrificing D2 and blobbing us would mean you would escape the same fate that your other allies that you hung out to dry received. So enough with the holier than thou act ok?

Nope, that was in LXW and BKG, it was D2, we did have massive gangs that day (200+), but MC hadn't. Then MC & Co, brought in a 70-90 cap with support and all gang and we couldn't do more.
When you first assaulted our systems with POSes it was in the same time that we were trying to help D2. We (RZR alone) brought down some POSes which weren't equipped and some carriers and dreads with the same occasion. Then you equipped the rest and we started sieging them (with the help of D2 and MM, capital wise), but it wasn't more than 20 capitals, 1 or 2 MM MS included and maybe some D2.
You backed down and waited for MC to come and they did, also helped by TRI in that time. We continued sieging for 2 or 3 days (S-E) and then backed off capital wise as MC raided S-E with more MS than we could handle.
So, please, don't you BRAG (yes, brag, indeed) of what we can or can't do and you can, because, you, my dear, clearly can't do anything on your own but wait for your occasional allies to show as it happened 3 evenings ago when one of your POSes went offline and Cabadrin had to come in its MS to scatter us from that large POS in O-E. You had 3 POSes that went offline in 2-3 weeks? Great attack
And, by the way, you came in to attack, don't suppose that our allies, neighbors, friends will sit hands tight and do nothing.
That's it.

I've been trying to avoid replying to your ****, but let me say just this. First of all, you didn't invade Tenal independantly, you had TRI alongside you on the first day and had support from other alliances every time you made a move. This is not a complaint or a whine, but a fact. Second, if you time your invasion at the same time us northern nap monkies are in one gang just 15ish jumps away in an attempt to counter the superiour forces we were facing in branch, I seriously can't imagine you being surprised our blob killed your gang right AFTER our adversaries retired for the night. Third, a big LOL to your claim we've tried to sacrifice d2 and left our friends out to dry. Thanks for proving Toasty wrong.

Ok, well here is my point. You brought in 250+ man blobs everyday to attack our pos's and you think that is just standard business. Yet if we attack your pos's with the alliance then we don't deserve to hold space. Thats the double standard that I was speaking of. For some reason you guys keep thinking that you guys having allies help defend/attack = ok but if we do it then all of a sudden we are pets and undeserving of space. That is, of course when you're not pretending like it was you alone fighting us off. It's all hypocritical bull****. Nope, your facts are wrong and as with other disputes you've dealt with on these forums, you've ignored what your opponent stated before, but kept the little detail that warms you the most and made up a nice story upon it.

Edited by: Cythrawl on 14/06/2007 14:43:26 *Slaps on his flame-resistant tin foil body armor* Message from DEFY:
We've been remiss in adding ourselves to the conversation in more than a one or two line comment.
First off: Nice job in fighting back now and then Razor. Honestly, I expected more from you guys than what I've seen so far(Don't take this for smack, its only current observations. This might change down the road.). Its as if the words 'Mercenary Coalition' broke your resolve in bringing the pain so far though. I was in 9UY when the combined forces of multiple pirate groups attemped to seize UNITY from Ushra'Khan. They never broke because of the MC cap fleet. They just finally were beaten. They never just allowed the fight to end without fighting.
Secondly: I should say that pointing the finger of Tenal's control completely at us might be premature. We've no idea yet what MC plan to do with their captured outposts. We might have new neighbors in the future. Who knows but Sel and Co?
Third: If you've noticed, the majority of occasions we've fought, there has been no smack talk. This is an enforced rule. Respect your enemies, for one day they may be your friends. It was that way for a good long while with us and various members of TRI. We used to fight them in Derelik and Prov. Who knows what the winds of fortune have in store for us down the road?
Fourth: We've all had friends coming to our aid in this conflict. When the majority of our forces were based out of a certain system in Venal, multiple D2 members including atleast 2 mothership pilots and Janus Drake himself were involved in the camping of some of T1TS pilots. We had help from other sources as well. So what. Its good to have friends, and no reason to complain mightily as if it's a sin.
Finally: No use in making claims yet until the final dice are thrown and the pips come up. Snake eyes for either one of us could be the result. Until then though, nobody knows the outcome.
Respect, Cythrawl DEFY Diplomatic Contact(Sometimes I'm nice)

Respect to our enemies.. I mean the real ones like Tri. who actually do something against us who fight with honour. Not the ones who are only supposed to put poses after their masters clear ours but even fail at that and come here talk more than the ones who fight against us
Wishing more quality pew pew with Tri. Respect! Also props to MM, they are the best friends that an alliance can have in EVE imho. <3 You guys.
And guys really don't reply to that flame*****.. Just go ingame and pop his ships with faction fits and let her flame 10 more pages since its the only thing he can do about it or Maybe a hug helps?

Razor is fine, thank you for asking. Razor is still on the North fighting everyday our enemies. My personal dissapointment as a Northener is, that i believe if we have fought as group (D2D, RZR, MM, IRON etc) we could have achieve better results in any front. Anyway back to the topic. I would like to thank everyone for your good words, and i would like to say to those that are bitter and hostiles to us that we are not sorry, but hey is a game. And dont fear my friends Tenal will soon be in Razor hands again.

Quote: razor keep fighting them because once MC/BOB leaves they can't do anything with out MC/BOB coming back to help.
Yes Seleene your "minions" might not have been the ones shooting the POS but I can be dam sure (we could see it) your cap fleet was within jump range everytime there was a siege going on! It makes it mighty hard for us to commit to deffending with such overwelming odds stacked against us... and we still put up a big fight and will continue to do so!

It was more like we'd try to pretend we weren't looking, you would go into siege, we'd quickly jump a cap fleet in range, your recon would appear in local, and you'd all dock while we were still recharging cap. Then we'd jump back to base and grumble about the unfairness of you not keeping your dreads in siege so we could gank them We'd then go round the same circular conversation about ways we could 'surprise you' without exploits or logonskis, give up, complain about the price of zydrine and go to bed.

Edited by: T''Karr on 15/06/2007 03:39:12 lol. It was all very different when we started, and the numbers were very much on Razors side. D2 were active, Morsus Mihi were active (Still are, though they are screwing up our killboard atm by warping to our POS's, two towers were last weeks top scorers), Rule of Three, Sychroniser, Pure, Hydra and others.
Now that we have some allies, its all changed.
Considering our numbers are affected by exams and so forth, we have done pretty well for our size, as we have pretty much been the underdog so far. Some of our promised support failed to materialise, then set us neutral in a hissy fit after MC stepped in.
Our entrance into OE was not all it could have been. It was planned to be a suprise POS drop, but our support decided to hit some POS's first and ruined that, resulting in the loss of some of our towers while being deployed. This helped a mistake on our part which resulted in the loss of a couple of caps. So it goes, so we learn.
At this point, support we were promised failed to turn up, and it looked pretty bleak. Razor had lots of allies, notably D2 and Morsus Mihi. We could muster maybe 30 pilots total (One off having a baby here, another moving house there, an exam crunch over there, etc) and we were sharing systems with 100-150 reds. Spies were everywhere, our foes knew exactly what we were up to. This for our corp in particular, where we get along a friends as well as corp mates, was a particularly bitter pill to swallow. Its never nice to think the new people you are meeting online may be stabbing you in the back. Despite it being a 'part of the game', its a part I really don't like.
Then as mentioned above, our allies failed to show, more than once. We were on our own, and it didn't look good. It was planned to share Tenal with them. We considered pulling out, saving as much of our POS stuff as possible. Our corp had invested a lot of isk, we didn't want to leave without finishing the job, but we didn't want to flush it down the pan either. Things looked bleak indeed.
Enter MC.
MC have been awesome, they know their stuff, and what's more, can be relied upon to do what they say.
S-E proceeded with MC assistance. POS's were smashed, new went up. Overall we took the system. It helps that our alliance is cap heavy, we sometimes have more caps than support it seems but it was a prolonged siege without any spectacular battles.
Assaulting R-Y turned out to be easier than we expected. We carried it out as we had planned to with OE, surprise drop POS's. It worked. There was no real fight, and some time later the Razor POS's were dismantled, we had sov. OE, our initial target fell recently. There were some large battles, attempts at baiting the Razor allies into sieging, with the plan being for MC to jump in in force and kill as many caps as possible, but this just did not happen. Very few hostiles in system towards the end, battles were few and far between. It was mostly down to small skirmishes, just the type of fight I like best, so it figures that I was down to mainly covops duty at this point
We still have space to take, Razor are definitely not dead, and we have started to see some roaming gangs moving around. New people have moved into branch, Snigg in Pandemic for one, so its nice to have neighbours you can shoot (or be shot by, I must remember to not move a cyno button when there are hostiles around, because accidentally dropping it just gets you ganked).
Like any confrontation, the plans never survive contact with the enemy. Overall, I'm disappointed with some of our initial allies, but we have forged ahead. We started out against huge odds, it looked bad, but we stuck it out.
Its been one hell of a rollercoaster so far. But you live and learn. I'm already looking to new horizons

As said before, but more then obviously ignored by you:
Originally by: Twoside (...) First of all, you didn't invade Tenal independantly, you had TRI alongside you on the first day and had support from other alliances every time you made a move. This is not a complaint or a whine, but a fact. (...) Third, a big LOL to your claim we've tried to sacrifice d2 and left our friends out to dry.
Last but not least:

As the first period of the Mesozoic Era, the Triassic follows the Permian and is followed by the Jurassic. Both the start and end of the Triassic are marked by major extinction events. The extinction event that closed the Triassic period has recently been more accurately dated, but as with most older geologic periods, the rock beds that define the start and end are well identified, but the exact dates of the start and end of the period are uncertain by a few million years.
During the Triassic, both marine and continental life show an adaptive radiation beginning from the starkly impoverished biosphere that followed the Permian-Triassic extinction. Corals of the hexacorallia group made their first appearance. The first flowering plants (Angiosperms) may have evolved during the Triassic, as did the first flying vertebrates, the pterosaurs.

How off topic can you get? Razor dead? lol
They started with no stations or space. One of the founding corps left along time ago because they Took space? lol I still dont understand that one..Razor is Razor. The truth is that the only reason they dont still have tenal is because of Political and Alliance decisions that were made. I can go into detail about them but its a mute point. I only hope this time around they done have so many, wish I would have done that instead.(And I am sure they wont admit them, thats assuming they even realise what they are) Loyal members are unknowing members in rzr. GL to them and forever may they hide everything important from those who protect there trust. In some alliances the most knowledgeable people are spies, truly sad..lol
If this is flames, it wasnt meant to be..
Every alliance has ups and downs. Its the alliances that prosper during the up swings and adapt during the down swings that survive. If you doubt rzr is one of these alliances then you dont live in the north.

Originally by: Orree When you're the invader, you have no right to complain about what you invade and how its defended.
You know, it speaks volumes to me (and I hope others) the everyone BUT your alliance is showing some respect...even Triumvirate, MC and the rest that have worked so hard to take Tenal away from Razor.
youll note that my post a few pages ago praised razor for their fighting. this thread has enough smacktalk in it however, so now i will just comment, no opinions.
1) tri chose not to help take tenal after the first few engagements. thats their choice, and i dont hold ill will towards them, indeed i enjoyed our friendship while it lasted.
2) dont deny that when we first started our assault (without anyones help mind you) you did quite a lot of sitting at 300km from our pos's and pos-bowl with your cap ships. one night in particular we were just watching as you tried to bump our carriers out of the shields. unfortunately for you we had cynos waiting.
3) when things didnt start going the way razor wanted, they brought in their support. so we brought in ours. thats the way it is. there is no need for smack for having MC on our side, as you guys chose to bring in MM, D2, as well as others.
4) we did not rely on MC solely. T1TS members were on the front lines every single day, losing their ships as well as taking yours. the fighting was great, brutal, and fun as hell. its a shame things have degenerated the way they have. dont try and pin the smack on persh. you guys provoked him, so he responded. who threw the first punch is entirely debatable, and certainly not limited to this thread.
5) bring it on! i surely do not think weve seen the last of you guys, and im waiting to pay you lot back for my sniper abaddon that got ganked :P

Just to clarify this. Tri never agreed to invading tenal/taking space/etc. In fact quite the opposite. Even before we went in they expressed they had no interest in taking space at that time. They were just being good allies and backing us up when we needed them to.

Originally by: Tearavygh Quillam When you first assaulted our systems with POSes it was in the same time that we were trying to help D2.
That's it.
ok, have to reply here.
im sorry, but if we are so ****, why did you even bring in your buddies? you cant say anything. do you want an alliance 1vs1, or is this real pvp? saying we suck for (wisely i might add) backing off while we were way outnumbered, and waiting till we had support, is just not fair. you brought in help. so we did the same.
nm, i dont want replies tbh. lets all just get along and let this thread die.

Originally by: Shiraz Merlot As the first period of the Mesozoic Era, the Triassic follows the Permian and is followed by the Jurassic.
Typical Rzr lies and propaganda.

Central Defiance... flamers of all things where text can be read.
Razor is quite possibly my favorite alliance in this game. That night in stain against LV's BS fleet and 4 carriers was hillarious. You made an impression on me that even BoB and MC give props too.
Continue doing what you like to do guys!

How can this be true, since your posts outnumber all RzR posts put together.
Go refuel a PoS or sth.
