OOOH! I just got "Connection to server closed" while trying to connect and now it says "Could not connect to the specified address. Odds are that you have not established an internet connection, the server isn't running, or the server address or port number was wrong."

Was working fine after the patch a couple of hours ago. I want time refund on me skills..you know what they say about idleness breeding the devil and then satan kills off all except the exotic dancers who will be transported due to the storyline mission to some far away place and never will be heard off again while stars keep on turning and the universe expands until one day to exceed some kind of boundarie and collapse, faster than it ever expanded and turn into yet another big bang as such is the order of things so might as well have fun with the dancers, while they are tender..

bleh.
if it was an internet routing problem we wouldn't be on the forums would we? it's a game problem, and people have stated they are from all over, not to meantion the number of players has been the exsact same since we all got disco'd. 
everyone please give a moment of silence for hugdy the hampster. he gave us many hours of power to play. he is missed. now where's his illegmate 2nd cousin.. get that fuzzy $^&#@*@ on the wheel and lets go!

17k Online is about what normally is online about this time of day. So it looks like it not responding/frozen and those 17k online are just everyone that was kicked off.

This is what I'm getting when I try to connect now, but my internet connection is surely fine. Can't be uTorrenting up and downstream at a few MB/sec with no internet, nosiree.
One of the servers must've caught the net-neutrality virus and croaked or something.
If brute force isn't solving your problems, then you aren't using enough.

I went from the "authenticating" sticking to a message that says.
"Could not connect to the specified address. Odds are that you have not established an internet connection, the server isn't running, or the server address or port number was wrong."
I know my side is running green, so yeah may be sitting here a while. Is this issue normal? I haven't actually payed for this game yet and this has me wondering if this game is plagued by the same lousy customer service that killed other really good games.

Not lousy customner service, but more server instability. I have always found customer service to be pretty good, and in 3 years of playing this is the second crash I have been part of. I know there are more, but I guess I have been lucky.

hmm actually when I noticed things were going downside-up I tried to access forums to see if there were reported problems and the forums were down too. Main page was fine, but kept getting errors for the forums page...came back about 3 mins after the server booted me off.

hmm... that's odd. This forum page won't show a page 4 button, but when I tell it page=4 in the address bar, it shows the rest of the posts.
