But I agree about that. I've had good luck with EFT's dps calculator though.. (it averaged within 4 DPS for the 2 fights I tried it in). A zealot with max skills and 3 HS and full rack of heavy pulses will be hard pressed to pass 400 DPS.

Personally since your resists will kinda suck with that setup, i'd go for a third damage mod and the bigest plate you can fit. True to a gank ship :P
