The Yautja have a tribal system based on a strong sense of honor... if there's no challenge in the hunt then there is no honor in it and a violation of this can get a Yautja banished to some rathole planet and he'll have to restore his honor or he'll die in exile... it's a pretty complex society and also Wolf is going all out in this town because hes cleaning it up of the xenomorph infestation that escaped from his clanship. His goal is to exterminate the infestation and prevent any future hosts for the infestation to restart. This isnt a hunt for Wolf, this is a sweep and destroy. Therefore the rules of the Hunt do NOT apply, and everything is a valid target. But what makes me go wtf is that the Plasma Caster works without being tied into the Yautjas armor, where it would derive its power to fire from.
