Well I got a reply... finally
"Please update your chipset, audio as well as graphics drivers for your computer. This will provide stability and added performance, and might address your problem. "
Gonna try this, but the client seems to be a lot more stable since the last patch. And I have had no problems since then. I've also got a new PC on order, so I'll probably wait til that arrives to see if I still have the same problems.
Here's hoping this has or is finally being sorted ------------------------------------------------

heres more proof CCP. I am running two clients sometimes, and sometimes one gets continuously disconnected and the other stays on, so no problem with my connection.
its like hit or miss sometimes i get a good connection, on for two hours, then i disconnect close eve to go do something, come back, and continuous disconnects. so tonight i connected fine the first try with my main, then i figured it seems stable so ill connect my alt, my alt kept getting disconnected.
also just so you know its not because im running two clients, this happens with one client only running. meaning get continously disconnected and can't play... just seems to find a good connection smetimes. -- Greater Love hath no man than this; that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Same problems here, losing connection then getting the "no connection" error when trying to sign back in.

Just letting the support peeps that I'm having this problem too. Updated my sound driver and my video drivers and still it persists.
I would file a petition but every time I try to I get the "connection to server lost" message before I can submit it.
I'm on a trial account right now and think the GAME is incredible. I would really like to play it, but it appears that this whole weekend I will not be able to be in-game for more than 5 minutes. With that being the case I don't know if I'll get a paying subscription.
Not to beat a dead horse but if I'm complaining about leaving because of this then 10 people have left because of this without saying a word.
Just reiterating that I REALLY like this game and hope a fix for this problem is forthcoming.

CCP should just take the server offline for however long they need to, just to fix it, then give the players free days for as long as its off, IDC if its off for 2 or 3 days as long as this stops and we can expect to enjoy the game again.

Originally by: Yoritomo Aleta Using 3 Broadband in Ireland. Keep getting disconnected after about 5 minutes. I am guessing that the connection is being throttled to 0kbps and thus the client is losing connection to the server.
Anyone else have this issue, either with the above ISP or someone else.
Thanks,
Gav
I assume when you say 3 Broadband you mean the same company as the mobile phone provider. 3 broadband is a bad service inherently, and because EVE is always talking on the net, their servers will shut you down because thier equipment cannot handle a continued load. I would suggest using an ISP such as Nildram, who offer excellent service at a slightly higher than usual price, but this is offsetted immensly by the fact that there is no Fair-Usage policy which is nothing more than a pain in the a.r.se

Get the same problem. Not sure its only because im running 2 clients. Seem to happen during peak hours.
Is there a workaround? Is it only happen to US base players ? Can CPP at least comment on this and aknowledge the problem ?
Is it possible that CCP provider cannot handle the load incoming from US side ?
Its beginning to be a game breaker for me.

I'm from Germany and have exactly the same problem. For me today is the first day this disconnection issue appeared. Until today I had no problem at all. I'm using an up-to-date Dell XPS notebook.
I've only upgraded my account with a 30 day ETC. Now i think it was money on the drain, even if it wasn't me who payed for it. :-S

Ummm, i got the problem too. I've been playing eve for 3 years now. And this have happened to me since revelation 2.2. However i've been told that It might be a problem with my isp, or my router. i've tried everything. Also I dunno much about computer. But i think There is one way to solve this problem, and i just want people to try it and see if it helps too.
in the router menu, the idle time was 0 for me. But i just type it to 999. It havsn't lagged or kicked me off for the last 3 days. can anyone else attempt this and see if it helps. it could be me just playing around here, or my imagination playing tricks on me and i'm really not good with computers. but just want to comfirm it with someone.

Interesting thing.
As expected the problem persisted today also, the second day in row. However until 17 PM GMT i could play the game normally, without problems. The first Server loss happened exactly at 17:00 did not ceased to exist.
Another interesting thing that noone else mentioned. When I can't play Eve (i.e massive Connection to Server Lost) I can't download via Internet Explorer. Meaning, after a couple of seconds/minutes of download a get a "Connection reset be server" error. If there happens to be a connection between the two that would pretty much solve the case.
I advise you all to do the following test: when you are having Connection problems with Eve try to download a large file via Internet Explorer ( not using a torrent client or a download manager - Mozilla Firfowx has integrated download manager, so don't use that) and see if it completes. If others experience the same problem than case closed.

Well I've only got approx. 1 day left on my trial account and I'm still having this problem on my home computer. I will continue to check this thread out to see if a fix comes but unfortunately I do not think that I will be paying for a game which I cannot play.
GL everyone with finding a solution. Hopefully it comes soon.

Originally by: CCP Mindstar If you are having consistent disconnection issues, I would urge you to file a bug report on it.
Bug Reporting
Remember when bug reporting to include output from a logserver file, as well as including system specs, dxdiag and even what ISP you are with.
Additionally, I would suggest that if you are having connection issues to use PingPlotter against Tranquility's IP - 87.237.38.201, and report the results.
Make a post about it, start a blog and request for people to send more informations: -PingPlotter against Tranquility's IP - 87.237.38.201 -DX Diagnostic -Log server -crash log

I am sure there is a weakness in the network layer of the client. I have notice time and time again that client lost connection (seem to be due to a internal problem) and goes to logging screen and saying for Tranquility "Checking Status"... and reclick on it and still the same...
Then i start a second instance of the client and it connect. So how come the first instance of eve can't reconnect ? (Hint: a Bug or Very weak network code)
My internet is not the cause since i can play other games and talk in TS without problems.
But i maybe saying this to nobody since DEV probably don't even read or don't seem to care to make this game bug free unless is a crisis. If more than one person is complaining about the same subject... maybe because there is a real problem. But then again i am probably writing this for nothing.

Well ia m in canada and suffering teh same connection lost problem, and I had been playing quite happily for a long time now running multiple clients on this machine, almost immeadiately after they performed the last patch (the small one) I began suffering the connection problems. Sometimes my clients won't even get into the game, I will have one client connected watching the other login and then show as going offline and the other client crashes.
PC is mor ethan capable of playing teh game and I have no issues with my internet or anything of teh sort as everything else works just fine, judging by teh players experiencing the same thing it must be code or network related on CCP's end or a whole bunch of freak chances that we are all suffering the same thing.
