Well this problem still exists, I cannot have two accounts logged in at the one time. 
If you are cloaked and you get dc'd magically your ship de-cloaks for everyone to see. Not so great in low sec.

Yes!! and then no....
This will happen without fail with 2 or more clients running, but I get 95% stable with just one client.
Do you know something I do not?

Yeah... Read through most of these and sounds like a similar problem I'm having.
- Loss of connection
- Ranging from a few minutes to hours between disconnects
- More frequent with multiple accounts
- Notification of connection loss comes EXTREMELY late
Hope a fix is in the works....

I'm having problems too. The game randomly disconnects while I have full signal on wireless then won't let me log back in for hours, can someone please tell me WHY?!

I have to say i don't this issue is related to the individual users PC specs, especially for those who have not had any hardware changes but are suddenly being hitover the head with this issue.
Also its unlikely that it woudl be network related unless we were all on the same IP or it was effecting all the users.
The issue must be somewhere between the client's connection with the EVE server, either during the patches there was a problem and it muddled something on a couple machines or they changed something in there network coding.

I play on a laptop, and was having this problem horrifically when I was using my wired connection. I decided to switch to my wireless connection and the problem seemed to go away, but after an hour or so of no disco probs, my wireless connection started doing the same thing that my wired connection was. Henceforth I don't know wtf is goin on with this issue. I too am on a trial account with about 7 days left on it and I love the game, but this issue with disco's is REALLY hindering my enjoyment of EvE.
I do not have this problem with ANYTHING else that I am viewing/playing, including Internet Explorer, VPN to my work, WoW, CoH, ect.

ok, on a whim, I plugged my laptop DIRECTLY into the cable modem and bypassed the D-Link wireless router altogether and haven't been disco'd yet, so the problem seems to be throughput on my wireless router.
Hopefully there are settings in there that I can open up to make it viable, cuz it will be a major pain in the butt if I have to be resetting my cable modem and wireless router each time I want to go wireless.

Add me to the list. The 'lost connection to server' is happening at random times. Often when it occurs, the client doesn't respond for several seconds to 4-5 minutes. As soon as I try to open up another window (science, item, wallet, etc.) is when it will finally kick you out and states 'lost connection to server'.
To the best of my knowledge, this started to happen with one of the small patches that was done right before the Revelations 2.2 patch. I have generated more than 108MB of Error Logs using CCP's Log Server Program that is in the installed directory where EVE is.
I have submitted some of the smaller logs to CCP via the website petition screen (since it kept timing out on me when I tried to send a 16MB zip file), and hopefully they will be able to get back to me within a reasonable time frame.
I'd like to also note that I was able to attach a 747kb zip file with the logs on the petition screen. CCP, it would be very helpful if you listed the MAXIMUM Attachment File Size so we're not guessing as to how much data you want sent! At this point I'm wiling to mail a cd-r or dvd-r filled with log data if this is what it'll take to get this problem solved quicker!

my god, you guys are having the same problems as me,,, which I have listed through this thread constantly.
where the game seems to stop responding, then you click something or type something and BAM back to desktop with connection to server lost message.
I am wondering if the error message is correct at all, is something else causing our crash and the game just saying connection to server lost when it exits back to desktop??? Could Someone from CCP answer that question? Could someone from CCP update us and let us know if its being disconnected. I can't even get a status from the server now.
I changed nothing before the rev 2.2 patch (around 28th august or so, 26th, 27th) which is when this started for me.
Since then even though I had the same setup running fine, i've taken out my wireless router, replaced my cords, filters, formatted my hard drive, updated all drivers again, updated firmware. And I have to say through all this, I can play all other multiplayer games fine. Also sometimes when I have two clients running, sometimes one will disconnect constantly while the other maintains the connection, so if its an error my side or network why the one client sometimes holds? Sometimes its terrible with disconnected every time I reconnect and sometimes it holds for a half hour.
I do have an nvidia 7900 GS. I get the same problem on my laptop and that runs a Nvidia 8600GT.
This is the most baffling problem I've had with computer stuff.

High Guys, sorry but not been in here for a while been readin gother threads on this. last I read was there might have been a faulty server in the run to CCP in iceland.
while i've sent bug logs and all to CCP no joy. So i did the whole works that they normally recommend unstalled eve downloaded full client etc etc. checked with my ISP and also various other things every thing is fine. i have even had one account d/c while im still able to use the other so that sorta says to me its en route too or is CCP's end
however i have found a few tips for folks that for some unknown reason seems to work not brilliantly but hey eve's all about making changes and compromises most of us after all play with the sound off cause of the issues it causes
TIP 1 - Disconnects seem to occure less often for me at non eve peak times.
TIP 2 - D/C are weired in that it takes a while to be informed even though you can use chat etc. i usually close eve the minute it looks like i'm having an issue
TIP 3 - once you are finally notified of a DC and the boot screen reopens with status unknown close the client and restart it if you wait at that screen you will be there for ever its as if that connection has been totally erased
TIP 4 - when getting two accounts on removed all settings from the second one on audio and generic - when flying with the second account for hauling use CTRL TAB to hide all windows seems to give beter shelf life before a D/C occurs

feeel sorry for you there bud, but im getting the same thing there to sometimes. somedays i get checking status forever then eventually unknown. ive been using dial up and connecting to play :/

This problem has started happening to me a lot in the last few days. I have two accounts, but lately its very rare if at all that theyre both running at once. It seems like session changes (stargate jumps, docking/undocking) seem to trigger the disconnects a lot more than other events, but sitting idle in a station will eventually cause it to occur just the same.
Earlier today I went 20 jumps and over 3 hours without a disconnect, then on the return trip I was disconnecting every 3 jumps at most, always after I hit the jump button.

uh, is your client crashing, is a different problem to this. this is booting back to desktop with the message connection to server lost.

Client is losing connection. Never had this problem before until tonight 8pm gmt. Gets to charachter screen then times out. Rebooted router, pc still no go. Location UK.

Still not fixed. Yet again I get disconnect after writing an evemail!!!!!!!
It's such a severe pain in the ass when you go to click 'send' as it appears that you are still connected, then get launched back to the desktop!!

Well, I can log in now, ish, kinda...
Just lost 2 drones due to being D/C'ed from the server. Not impressed.
So now I can play Eve, as long as I don't touch my comp after I've logged in it's sweet! Sure, all I can do is watch my ship revolve slowly in the station, but I can log in! I mean really, how often do we take the time to appreciate how great the ships in eve look when docked...

the times and how often you get disconnected varies. right now I got disconencted twice, buthave been on two hours now.
what I have done today is sit at a gate watching people jump in and out to seeif i can sync my connection :)
ill try it again later see if it in fact helps. everytime I log in, sit at a gate for 5 minutes then try playin.
