After going through 5 pages of mostly useless smack (thank god it's only 5 ) i think both sides should just say "THANKS!" to each other for bringing PVP close to home and heaving good fights all round.

I have nothing to add to this thread, just popping by to say hello to the Interstellar Exodus guys, who proved excellent opponents when GIRON went south to destroy SA in 2005.
No smack, always up for the fight, too bad I can't play EVE atm, looking forward to meeting you again on the battlefield, it will be a pleasure if your mindset hasn't changed.
P.S.: for the history freaks, I was in IRON leadership during the Feyt invasion mentioned earlier in this thread and it is true GIRON withdrew to deal with BoB attacking Deklein.

so as of right now the cap ship losses are coming pretty even. losing 4 carriers and your fleet not even defending a gate. at least our losses were with a point. but i think this thread needs more virt is uber posts. cause i see them at 6- on cap kills right now.

You are right, just another 2 carriers and a dread required and you will have caught up 
So just to be clear, you are now about, what, 30+ billion isk in ships down (assuming the BS were all fully insured o/w its a lot higher as about 200 have been popped to date) and (mainly due to some bad decisions by us overnight) you have just managed to get yourself back into pretty much the same position you were in when this started last Thursday with 2 POS in the system?

For an alliance not defending it's own sov RK does remarkably well in this field. They don't haveto sign ip to save our existance as a 0.0 alliance, Smaskill/atlas pilots sign up for fun. If the unthinkable happened and smashkill lost, all they'd lose was time and a few billion isk. Not a region. Defenders will fight tooth and nail to defend their region. Attackers generally get bored easy and leave for easier targets, not fighting 8 alliances.
So Smashkill cannot persist, all they'dlose is a few billion isk (OK, a lot of isk)? But gained a lot of experiance.
If MAD loses, they'll lose a tiny alliance and a few isk here and there (losses being spread over many alliances).
In the end everyone wins. I hear ppl are having a blast and that's what counts.
Oh, and i can't imagine suriviving my night-watch (00:00-12:00) if i didn't have battlereports and killboards to read to kill the time.

yeah we can be invaded by you guys and loos some stuff, sowhat, aslong its funn when it goes down, yust like k25 defends that was awesome against al those alliances at that time

I would say that is about right actually. -shrug- RK and Pure and Hydra and Smash DO have nothing to fear at all, because, BINGO. MAD will probably not go on the offence. Anyone care to take a vote why?

tbh this talk about MAD Pact and stuff, w/e really don't care who is part of what, just bring what ya got. in all honesty i don't think smash/kill care about who are your friends and who is part of some stupid MADPACT.
Bring what u got on the field and deal with it then, as you know smash/kill won't be running anywhere.
