Now I know some of you might think that is in bad taste but.....
If it was me and I had died I would find that funny.
My thoughts are with his family. Always hard to lose a loved one. I have some experience with this.

This got my head swinging... at 26 of age. Horrible.
I only knew him from his reputation, nothing else, but it's very sad regardless. I hope Veto keeps us updated if there'll be a monument.

I never shared words with DarkElf, but I wish I would have, even if it were insults because he just popped me :) If there's any way to send flowers or something IRL to his family, please let me know. I've also seen a few cans anchored around SMASHKILL space dedicated to DarkElf.

I never knew him personally, but I read many posts of his on the forums and it is obvious we've lost a large contributer to the community. He will be missed.

Damn,Eve is gonna become a darker place without DarkElf.Guess it's cold comfort,for his famliy and friends to know how much he'll be missed.Flew with him quite a bit back in the day,he was a hell of a guy.

Didn't know him personally but i've always enjoyed his contributions to the C&P board, he always seemed to be the voice of reason and intelligence in a ****storm of dumb.

When I used to play the game on a past account, Elf was a good friend of mine. I was actually trying to get into contact with him on this character.
Really, really gutted.

Never talked to him in person, but I had a great pleasure reading his post in the fitting section. He looked like an open-minded and gentle guy, never calling people names or laughing at them.
My condolences to his friends in and out of RL and family of course.
Such a tragic loss. Darkelf will be missed.

While I only had the opportunity to speak with him once, he came across as a very down to earth kinda guy, willing to help with anything he could.
My respects and condolences to DE's family, and to Veto as well; based on what I've heard of him, he ideolized the very things Veto stood for.

I'm not the best with words but I have had and will always have nothing but respect for veto and its members. DarkElf was a true forum ***** of class and always took the time to help people on the forums. Every post I had the liberty of reading showed true and great character. While I've never had the privilege of flying with DE, nor did I know him well, in fact other then me enjoying his forum posts I really didnt know him but i felt like i did, he will be missed. My dearest condolences to his Family, Friends, and of course to Veto for loss of such a fine pilot.
DarkElf if your looking down here I salute you.
Im not a religious man but I will say a prayer for you and your family.

Eve is most certainly about us bunch of weirdos and miscreants that make it up...And Dark Elf was a shining example of both. I honestly would actively would seek out his posts on setups and the like, as there has been little a finer pilot to fly the great space of EvE.
In fact my first mega I ever lost was to him :) He will be sorely missed by many in the Eve community...the pain of his passing will be felt Eve-wide. And especially for his comrades in Veto my heart goes out to you guys.
