condoleances to the loss of a great player.
Hussman my condoleances to you especially since he was a close friend of you.
I did not know DE well allthough i did have the pleasure to meet him in space. He was always ready to answer any questions i had.
This is a deep loss to the eve-community and to his friends and family even more.

Well we didnĘt get along to well in game and on the forums due to the trade we are in. However this is just a game and my condolences goes out to his friends and family. I will miss our bickering on the forums as well in game.
As I am on a break from blood and death, I will come out and gear up the old vagabond. So this week, I will tribute in his honor by laying pillage to some carebears in empire.

I played with Darkelf for the last 3 years in EVE. We were in Order of the Silent Shadow together (OOTSS) and left formed Arcana Imperii Ltd. he was one of the founding members and a director. We were in E-R together and pirated a many a day on our alts (DJ LOUD was his alt). It is sad today i lose a friend of almost 3 years. We were continents away but i felt like i have lost a brother.
RIP DarkElf you will be forever remembered...

I also knew DarkElf from the old OOTSS days and when we were in AIL together. I flew with him for a long time and was proud to call him my friend. The person he was will never be forgotted. My heart is deeply saddened by his passing.
May he rest is piece.

You were a great mentor to me and many others. You will be sorely missed. I have had the privlage of knowing DE in game for 2 years and my heart goes out to his family and friends. I know i will miss our crazy chats about hypothetical ship set-ups and "what constitutes a gank". You were one of the few people in this game that tried to honestly make eve a better place for everyone. Thank you for everything you did.

I never really knew DarkElf, barring the odd comment on the forums and a couple random times on various vent servers. However in a game where so often people try to beat down on as many people as possible for fun he remained above that. His posts on C&P were exceptional, always willing to take time to help others or explain a viewpoint with clarity and at times a stunning neutrality not often seen around here.
My condolences to the Veto pilots who have no doubt lost a good friend. Dark Elf - you will be missed.
