My sympathies to his family and everyone who had the chance to know him in and out of game.
DarkElf was an amazing guy and will always be remembered.
The news came in 2 hours ago and I'm still in shock.
I'll miss seeing you in local and hearing your funny comments on TS.

Words can't describe the wave of sorrow that has overcome the whole of Veto Corp since we recieved news of the loss of DarkElf.
Today, together, as an in game family we mourn the loss of a bother, a friend, a wingman and one of the finest people to ever grace the roster of our corporation.
He will remain with us, as a permamant part of our corporate legacy and will continue to fly the Veto Corp banner for as long as Tranquility still breathes.

wow thats a shock to say the least, only had the pleasure of talkin to DE once in game, though I seen him around a bit.
Long long time ago back in my noob days DE showed me what a pilgrim was, dam nice guy apart from poppin my ship 
Learned alot from it and made me wanna get a recon so I'll name every recon I get after you DE, RIP

Darkelf was one of the best personalities and pvpers I have ever played with in any game.
He is a person that will be sorely missed and the biggest condolences go out to him and his family.
C&P and Eve won't ever be the same without him.

Condolences to his family and his corp. I only meet him through some forum discussions, seemed like a very friendly and intelligent person and from the other posts I can see that was the case.
The fact the he was taken away from his family and friends at the early age of 26 years brings a tear to my eyes, that is just plain wrong and I can only feel a great sympathy for the people who knew him.
Rest in peace DE, from the nice way you acted on the forums I can only belive you are very respected in real just like you have been here for your good inputs.

I never had the chance to fly either with or against the man, but my limited experience from the forums is of a man who will be greatly missed by the whole EVE community.
My condolences to his family, friends and corpmates. Fly safe where ever you are now.

I remember my first encounter with DarkElf very well - Ore Mongers still lived in Costolle (Verge Vendor) back then and Samirol (in a domi) was chased by DarkElf (also in a domi, but with t2 ogres iirc). DarkElf had a couple of wingmen but attacked Samirol alone (when I came in my Caracal). I engaged and we both lost (me and Sam), but he was a really good sport about it, when Samirol was hitting structure I stuck and fought and he was really cool. Went on in a convo (me sitting in a pod at the star gate) and him in his domi.
After that I've spoken to him on several instances, back then he was in that... stripper corp, and I tried to negotiate a NAP between the two of us, and he told me it wouldn't happen and like "We'll see eachother in space".
Since then I've had some convos with him, and of course over the forums he always was very respectful to me. My impressions of him is that he was a damn good guy who got an undeserved fate.
My and my corps respects to him, his family, and his EVE-family Veto-corp.
May I suggest the "missing man" formation? (basically a V with the lead wing leader spot empty).
