Missile name changes are stupid. Each missile name already gave an indication of what damage type it was, and there was no need to change it.

It's nice to see the list of quality enhancements continue.
But is there a roadmap for major gameplay changes? A lot of the core mechanics of eve are very long in the tooth, and really weren't that great even upon release 8 years ago tbqh.
Namely, the trivial ease with which intel is collected. Combined with a highly deterministic set of gameplay mechanics (i.e., random chance plays a negligible role in the game) it becomes a trivial exercise to know whether or not a pvp encounter will be successful or not, which then results in people not engaging in the first place if a loss is imminent.
People complain about the metagame, but the truth is that between local chat, DScan, a scout alt and occasionally the addressbook a pvper has 95%+ of the intel they could ever need. More uncertainty needs to be introduced into the mix, so that players don't always know whether or not an engagement will be successful. This could be effected by changing the core mechanics or (much more easily) by simply making it more difficult to acquire intel.
People complain about station/gate/bubble/POS/whatever camping, but the simple fact of the matter is that it's the best (read: most efficient) way to get kills. Anyone that can't beat you simply won't engage. The only alternative is to play possum and make them think they can win with a clever trap/trick, but frankly that sort of cat-and-mouse game gets tiring and takes a lot of time for generally few kills. Bottom line: Killing people is fun. Not killing people is not fun (industrialists aside.. weird people).
Making intel less 100% certain would enliven the pvp aspect of the game tremendously, because human nature being what it is people want to win; and right now it's entirely too easy to know whether or not you'll win before the fact. |

The agent list inside a station will now display your current status with an agent (mission offered, accepted etc). Hopefully less people will be cursing after undocking without pressing GÇ£acceptGÇ¥ on a mission.

just confirming TiDi is live, warping 60 AU in a drake at 80% TiDi is great fun

To be fair, if TD was at 80%, then the chance of you actually initiating warp in the first place from lag would have been pretty low. Or loading grid when you landed. |

From what I've seen of the new one, it looks quite customisable, so you could possibly simulate the old one with it.

I would like to give my thanks to CCP Soundwave and the other Devs who took part in making the improvements to the portions of eve online that have been neglected for a very long time. You know in-spite of the ***** fest that is us the eve community, your contributions to game play have been noticed and appreciated.
P.S. I will end this with one detractor however, time dilation while moving massive amounts of people through a gate sucks the big one. During big fights I have been told its a pleasant change compared to past blob fights.
