Living in a quiet mud hut with no electricity or running water while having to haul food 15miles each day might seem better to one person than having to live in a noisy crowded city. 2. Our healthcare system is awesome. The medical technology is superior than most and we have the foreign doctors backlogged to get over here to get in on this phenomenon to prove it. Our health insurance coverage is not great. But then if you want great healthcare it isn't going to be cheap and someone has to pay for it. 3a. Blood and sweat built up a giant conglomerate that we call the United States. Americans worked to make a better place for themselves which resulted in our country. Americans didn't work hard to build the US government, they worked hard to make life easier for themselves and their children. 3b. State provide you with something? Yes, its called social security. That thing you pay into each paycheck. You also have a pension you paid into as you worked. Just because you worked at a job for 20yrs doesn't mean you're entitled to something more. You got paid for those 20yrs. If you didn't think you were compensated fairly then its your fault you didn't seek better work or learn new skills for a better job (yes its possible to learn new stuff after high school). The US job market is awesome. Finding work is too darn easy. Finding something that you like to do instead of something more profitable but less fun is your choice. 4. Despite what many think its that "go out of our way to help" American attitude that makes us great. Did the US really have to get involved in WWI or WWII? Nope, the US could have easily done business with the ****'s and frankly that was a popular topic brought up in several New York Times articles before we got involved. Does anyone even remember why we got involved in WWi? Care to guess which country has bolstered several EU countries to keep them from collapsing...and never asked for compensation in return? When natural disasters ravish foreign lands, who's Hueys and Blackhawks show up with relief aid (not the UN for sure). Which country has enough donations to relief charities to exceed the GDP of most European nations? 5. On one hand we expect certain services which governments are required to supply. However, there are many other services which they will use your tax money on that you may or may not want. If you do not like the way someone is handling your taxes then VOTE FOR SOMEONE ELSE. Despite what you may think, there are many politicians who will listen to what you have to say. There have been countless bills that have succeeded or failed due to the voice of the American people threatening to use their guaranteed right to vote to get a congressman or senator out of office. Heck we just had that dumb immigration bill crash and burn as a perfect example. You have an even stronger voice in your state and local government. I sit between middle class and poverty. My opinion's worth isn't changed.

I have lived in both the United States, Europe (2 years), Kuwait and Iraq (I was in the army when the US first invaded IRAQ the second time) and without a moments hesitation I would live in the states vs. anywhere else in the world. From what I have seen, americans are much more busy and willing to help out than Europeans are. Plus you can own a real dog without being a pariah. Here is a run down.. Germans: They think they are superior to others, hate turks, and the women have really nice butts inexplicably well into their 50s. Oh and the men dress like women and unless they are behind a car they are punks. Beer is quite good, same with the cheesecake. Learn what breakfast means (i.e. not lunchmeat or runny eggs) Oh and Pommes Frits do not go with everything . British: The bad teeth thing isn't just a stereotype, they think they are clever when they really aren't, and somehow skipped out on the whole slavery backlash that the US endured. Your food sucks... sry. Italians: My god are they beautiful and ugly at the same time. They redefine the word brash. My god I don't think I have ever had pasta before I was in Rome. French: Yes your does stink, just like everyone else's if not more so. Paris is beautiful, the people are not. Deserts are awesome though. Austrians/Danish: You guys rock... Hell even your damn Mcdonalds are tastey (which was suprising.) Turks: There are always more of them than you think and they are very defensive of their women. Doners are awesome though so its all gravy. Americans: Nice to a fault, never will you meet a more giving people, unfortunately escapism is the name of the game and we are always looking for a scapegoat(oh and lawyers ** our country up.) The only place you can get a good pizza/hamburger/hotdog/soda (wtf european sweetner blah). OR pretty much anything to do with beef (japan withstanding.) Europeans have amazingly small deer (americans think of you golden retrievers and stuff.) Oh and just to set the record straight, Americans couldn't really give 2 s about european's/canadians(lol) opinions of us. TBH I would prefer if we went back to the 50/60s when the CIA just assainaed foriegn leaders who didn't play ball. Oh and if you think Bill Clinton did anything but complete over America your a ****.
