I do have a question about his "quote"

Last night I logged on after a day of playing eve and doing nothing at all. I was bored and wanted to fight. I ASKED some one if they wanted to fight.
I invited presido into a gang, he warped to me, i locked him, webbed him and started shooting and he locked me, webbed and warpscambled me and shot, i launched drones. i notice he isnt in my gang anymore. I start MWD way for 30 secs, i get to 8km and his scorp is at 30% of his armor/ hull bar, when 4 more PA warp in. they target jam me and then have my shields down. i am very very warp sctammbled and my armor is going down fast. so i self-destruct, and warp out in my pod.
Notice the last sentence (he self destructed??)

presidio had a web on thats part of a close rang set up. i asked if any 1 wanted to fight,presidio was the first to voluntier. i was alone in local and there were 8 of them and 1 of me, all the trust in that was up to the PA.
pirates are more trust worthy

i clicked an confirmed self destruct. but i wasn't tanked at all, they were doinf good damage, i also got out in my pod.

I'm not a big fan of Presidio myself, but anybody that is dumb enough to agree to a "1v1" in hostile space deserves to die. This sort of thing has been done so many times in eve I would have thought any experienced player would know what a bad idea it was.

Though the whole thread is kinda like that also we read about what Presido has done yes shame shame on him. And then we also read a member in Evo has done the same?

There was question among Evol whether we might be fighting some of the 'good guys' up here in Venal. No doubt, there are still good guys in PA, but now we know about one who isn't.
It's much easier to replace a battleship than a person's credibility.

I read the one that was link in this post I will try to summarize what I gathered from reading it. They warped to a planet for a one on one. She/or he knew there was Evo pilots in system but still took the one on one. A few
Of he corp came in system but not at the one on one location. Then an Evo ship warped into where the one on one was taking place. So she bailed. Looks to be the same except she/he bailed.

I WAS ALONE IN THE SYSTEM THERE WERE 8 OF THEM. THEY USED THE INVATION FOR A 1on 1 TO DO A NORMAL FIGHT. grab a clue, those guys are pudds.

I told havok many times I would not fight a 1v1 in the main system of the entire Curse Alliance.
If either of you would like a proper 1v1 in a non highway, non station, non hq system, I would be glad to do it.
When 2 pilots meet at a station, in HLW, and it has not been declared a 1v1, it isn't a 1v1.
So again, if either of you can muster the mansacks to 1v1 me, I'm down.
Evolution has never, and will never disrupt arranged 1v1's. This, like many things, is a fact, regardless of how hard the lil kids we've spanked around cr otherwise.
So, Reclaimer, Havok, 1v1? |

On a PA sidenote, this was not the first time PA disregarded an arranged 1v1.
I formed a gang with a kid named FireKiller, and set up a safespot for a proper 1v1 that he had requested. He came to me, left the gang, and one of his friends warped into the safespot.
Foretunately for me, I saw this cowardess coming, and left in time.
When asked about the incident minutes later, FireKiller justified his friend warping to me because apparently I used 2 sensor dampeners, and that's cheating. Kinda like how jakal was cheating by setting up his ship accordingly vs Presidio.
It's a shame that PA are this weak. |

why is it that the PA are crying about evol doing some bs logoff trap(that we do not use) and that it's an exploit.... then coming here and saying there are no rules in war to justify when someone say "lets do a 1v1" then breaks his word?

Homo, I have heard of you 1on1 a few pilots in Venal since the beginning of our little conflict. They all said it was fair fight, and I commend all those involved in such honor-bound combat. It is truly the best test of someones word. |

I very strongly disagree . . . in war there is honor, this is why many battles were settled by their commanders dueling, the other side then surrendering once their leader was defeated. There is and should be honor in war. If it wasn't for the fact that the PA were, in my view, the worst scum in the EVE universe, my esteem for them would have dropped a lot over this incident.

Well Halseth, thankyou, I suppose.
I truly hope that you can dissuade others in your alliance from straight up lying and breaking their word regarding these duels.
I played a game called Jumpgate, and a game called Homeworld.
In games, like these, it's very very hard to get an even fight. The root of everything is one. one pilot vs another, same ship class. There is honor in this, even though the duel may be misplaced in an mmog like this one.
lebrring, you are now saying that R-K don't play that way? you do realize you are allied with those who lied and disregarded the arranged duel?
I had respect for Kia at a time. I even posted of their honor in a few threads in which it was questioned.
But I just lost 100% of my respect for Kia, thanks to your statements. |

however I lost respect for Evo when they turned on their friends (PA) and invaded venal in what has got to be the most ridiculous reason I have ever heard before in my life.
Here are the rules when pvp'ing in EVE
There are none. Remember that we are in a war and that you are in our space. We will do whatever we want, whenever we want, for as long as its necessary. Regardless of tactics or not.
Now com'on.... someone does a 1 on 1 and cheats?? big deal. It wasn't the first time, it won't be the last

Well I think this is just another example of how PA is comprised of total losers. Just like when Celestial Apocalypse did the same to some pirate or other and everyone was all happy about it.. (And yes they were still part of NVA or PA or whatever at the time)
