Edited by: Soulstinger on 18/03/2004 07:05:06 1. Paint Schemes for ships. Either same patterns as existing variations, set options, or player designed, just anything.
2. Random Occurances in mining. I've heard the idea of maybe finding some cache secreted away in the rocks, or deposits of a better ore, like geodes.
3. Rogue Drones. Something to keep miners on their toes, you start drilling holes in that asteroid and disturb 1 or more drones in the belt that detach themselves from the rocks, untill then unseen by players. Or a hive of drones, much like normal station-spawn pirates.
4. Jovians. Not players, but let us see 'em, trade with 'em, get our butts kicked by 'em. Anything.
5. Crystals capable of varying laser weapons into other damage types then Em/Thermal. I know explosive is out of the question, but maybe a kinetic laser, no heat or electromagnetics, but hits with enough force to grind at armor.
6. Utility Drones. ECM (sensor dampers, tracking speed disrupters, etc), Warp Disruption, Salvage, Repair, Target Triangulation, Spy Drones, what have you. Drones are an excellent template on wich to customize one's combat and non-combat set-up without having to rely on or be restricted by one's ship slots.
7. Formations. Expand on your current plan with the new group skills Guerilla and Escort tactics by perhaps allowing people with the specific formation skill to instigate a flight formation with stat benefits. Betterlock speed if we fly in this pattern because our sensors bounce off each other or whatnot. This one allows for better shield capacity/regen because they cant hit our centers or whatever. This one makes for better mining, anyway, definatly something to kick around.
8. Lastly, skill queing. Nothing like having 10 mins or so left on a skill, forgetting and going to bed. Or wait, maybe Im the only one who cares about the hours lost to sleep. Well maybe your going on a vacation or you cant afford your subscription for a while, anyway, que up a few skills and your ok.
My 8 cents, hope someone reads em, dev or otherwise.
(Edit) Ooops. Didn't see the "as a corporation" tag to this topic. Sorry.

Dont know if this has been said yet as i have not read all 4 pages.
But can we have a better system for displaying escrows.
1. Can we have a show all escrow for me button as we have one for escrows issued by me but none to show u how many escrows u have waiting for u.
2. Can we have instead of show all, that doesnt work cos there are so many escrows u cant see them all, have it by region. So u have all the regions listed then u clik on one and ALL escrows in that region are shown.
Thanks ----- Trixy says "Keep ur friends close but ur enemies even closer" -----

1. Proper Alliance system. 2. Corp tax, adjustable for diff things. ex: Bounty award, direct trades and market sales. 3. Stock Market 4. Selling items as a corp, ex: show info on certain mod/ship will say in info built by X corp. 5. Better divisions of corp hanger space. ex: Manufacturing corp would have its own hangers only accessable by people in that division.

1) Ship customisation, not just with the fitting and possibly colours/logo's but being able to buy kits off the market which let you change the features of the ship.
I.e you own a Black Bird, and you purchase a kit which allows you to mount an additional missile launcher but reduces your cargo bay by 50%. or change the CPU/Powergrid/Speed.
i.e you have an Iteran V, you purchase a kit to increase the cargo space by 50%, your speed is then reduced by 50% and you lose 2 Med slots.
2)POS and Deployable Objects. Such as:- -Mobile Sheild Inhibitors (cripples the resistance of ships sheilds within its radius)
-Mobile Defence Platform(Fleet defence weapon, armed to the teeth and heavily armoured, but very slow(20m/s) this would allow you to deploy it while you mine in 0.0 without fear of mega-rat spawns, but it would be a huge investment, and if it dies, your in trouble.
-Bulk Hauler massive hauler that has 250'000 cargo space but travels at 50m/s and has no sheilds, no med/low/high slots. And costs several hundred million.
3)The above mentioned posts regarding pirating, ways to make it more profitable for pirates to actually pirate rather than kill.
As an example, the pirate would rather toll the ship it has caught in its warp disruption feild, than kill it because he would lose security and thus lose the ability to venture into empire.
4)Bounties, The Ability to place a Bounty on everyone, however you can only do this with your main account, and you take a security rating hit for putting a contract out on someone with a good status. i.e you put a contract out on someone who has +4.0 and you have 0.0. you would lose 2.0 and thus become -2.0.
5)Corporation owned ships, these would be insured by the corp and anyone who has access could take them and fly them, this would make the idea of a Fleet or Navy viable.
6)The ability to alter the game more. I.E several large alliances decide to Invade the Amarr empire, Concord does not engage because those Meta-alliances have declared war against the Empire.
the Dungeons idea is a start, but to truely make an impact there need to be repurcussions for action, i.e those alliances win the war against the Amarr empire, but because of it, the Amarr empire stop producing as many items, and in the future they wont come out with as many technological feats.
7)The Ability to gain Rank within the Empires, whilst staying in your Corporation.
So for example, by working hard for the Caldari Navy, you could eventually become the Commander of all Caldari Navy vessels, and organise a covert war against the Gallente Federation.
8)New options for Mining, deployable structures which mine constantly from moons will be a start, but what about structures you can leave in space which collect particals from space and turn them into usable minerals.
9)Ship Experience.
The more fights you go into and survive, the better you ship gets a fighting(within reason)but then if you lose your ship, you lose all that training.
10)The Ability to hire corporations and factions to attack someone or something.
As an example: You want a rival corporation hindered, so you pay the Gurista's to attack them, and hunt them down for x-days, this would mean the Guristra's sneaking in Larger ships into empire and would cost large amounts.
I.e 20million would get you a 20million in bounty worth of ships from the Gurista's (inc Battleships) to track down Corporation X.
These ships will respawn if they die, but only for the duration of the contract, and each time they respawn it will cost the sum of there bounty price. "The enemy to be feared is the one who wears the face of a friend"

Not all of these really deal with corps..but here it goes anyways,
1) Corp tax & shares of course.
2) Ability to put a small corp logo on your ship. Doesn't need to be big, just enough so we can see it :)
3) When you lock something, instead of the static 2D pics we get of what's locked, could it be replaced with something similiar to the "look at" option (same size icon, so it wouldnt take up any more room)? This would add some more life to the battle, make it seem like we're fighting ships rather than some X's off in the distance.
4) More difficult rat spawns in 0.1 - 0.4 space. The cruiser rats there become pretty boring to attack. Right now if I want to hunt for a challenge, I need to go a bunch of jumps into 0.0 space. Who wants to do that just to kill some rats?
5) Ability to edit our character's appearance (heck, just look at my portrait :P). To prevent this from being overdone, make it only be able to be changed once a month or so, and cost a lot of isk. I signed up at 2 AM just to try it out, so I went trhoguh and generated my portrait and changed a few things really fast, I'd like to be able to change it, even if we can only edit it once.
6) Some more HUD/window options. I like how we can change the color/transparency, but it would be even cooler if we could have a few more options...like textures.
7) Some more options for the corp logo. There's quite a bit now, but some of the icons appear pretty fuzzy and some colors seem really dark or faded.
8) Make empty unboarded ships have a specific name, such as "Unboarded ship" . Right now theres really no way to know if a ship is empty or not, because it still shows their name.
9) Im not sure if it's just me, but sometimes on my scanner warning a player will appear as an outlaw. They will also have the red box around them (not the one that means Im targeted). yet I view their info, and their security status show's they aren't really an outlaw. Im assuming it's a bug. --

Edited by: Robotek Hybrid on 21/03/2004 05:53:27 1.ABLE TO OWN PROPERTY example: CorpA owns System A or.. CorpA owns planet A and Moon A1& Moon A2 and have stations at moon A1&A2 while corpB Owns planet B and moon B( they are sharing the system because one corp does not own every planet which is how u own a system)
2. Even tho im in a corp i want to own my own station which is owned by ME not the corporation.
3.Trademarks for the corpration( are put on Corp BP's and ships and station etc.)(customizable)
4.Player owned station guns
5.Highways are taken out
6. the super highways are destroyed
7.every1 in eve ganks the super highways
8. the highways that link the faction HQ's are gangkilled
9. Individual systems are made important by doing 5-8
10. 0.0 systems are put between the empires( why would pator and amarr be less than 5 jumps away of the minmitar and amarr hate eachother.
EDIT: 11.a corp kill roster where on the tab it shows the number of losses who died where and by whome and who the corp has killed where and by whome

Man wish i'd seen this one earlier!
1. Corp tax fixed! 2. For ability scores to count for more then just training time. ie skill lvl+ ship bonus+ability scor or bonus 3. More hanger and the ability to sud divide them. for instance have tow Wings share a hanger 4. Banks to place your Isk in to earn intrest, invest in...adn maybe rob ;) 5. The option for the officers with the right permsision to see a memebrs skill....(great for rank advancement verification) 6. Ability to let a non member enter to corp fprum to meet the corp beofre they join. 7. An efficiant mean of keep tracking of info. ie things achieved for promotions 8. The ability to customize the look of your ship. ie colors, insignias, so on. 9. Ability to buy and sell things through the corp instead of individual players. 10. ability to free slave that are aquiered during mission or to hire them to help in corp funtions.

Disrupt stargates
Better visual effekts of weapons when they shoot (maybe regulate able for slower computers)

Dronebay expanders actually could change the face of combat some, giving the other races a taste of the gallente forte and thus giving gallente even more drones will be flying on the battlefields and ships will become more commited or at least baited to actually stay at an engagement to manouver their drones instead of warping in and out all the time.
This will make the gallente battleships somewhat useful for PvP combat again.
Of course expanding a dronebay would mean you'd have to have one to expand to begin with.

1. I would like to see roids like bistot and arkanor shift around the 0.0 spaces instead of being plentiful. If it shifted from stain to curse to querious ect every so often it would force alliances out of there little homes and out in the wild. I should not go into a system with a refine station and find 999999 arkanor roids.

I don't know if the Devs are still reading this, but as a CEO of a growing corp, I realized today that I DESPARATELY could use something that should be very easy to implement:
Customized messaging for the recruitment process.
Specifically: A customized message for Offers, Negotiations, and Declines, as well as a new eve-mail message that can be automated to people who join the corp (i.e., a "welcome" message).
Here's where the problem lies:
1. When you offer someone a position, the message the game sends is ridiculous. It doesn't offer any information to the new player about what is going on. It says "Please review my offer" -- what the heck does that mean? New players in the game haven't a clue how this works, and it is shameful that this message isn't a tad more descriptive.
2. I want to be able to tell new players what is going on -- how to access our website, how to register for our forums, where to go, who to talk to, etc. This should be something I can do when they first join the corp via eve-mail so I don't need to copy/paste it every time (and since I have more than one person handling recruitment and orientation, it only makes it that much more difficult).
You also need to fix the bug that requires you to log out of the game and log back in if you want to set a person's permissions. It's crazy! Give us a refresh button or something...
Thanks :)

1. secure alliance corp members only chat channels 2. ability to copy buddies and places folders, either export them from ur places into a navigation log / character log, for trading between people. make a skill for this to be possible, with each skill level increasing the level of en/decription for the log, so only people with that skill level can export the logs / load them into your people and places. That way you could bring out different levels of nav logs dropped by pirates for different levels of encounters. 3. a decent gang control interface which isn't based on loads of windows and pop ups, built into the screen, with the option to toggle parts on and off etc..

There's only one thing that I want enough to post about it. It is what all corporations of size want to have, to be able to bring superior forces to bear.
Black Ops Frigates
Ships that can scan for, and warp to, ships in space. This would mean so much for PvP in this game, so incredibly much.

1. Corp Taxes 2. Corp Ownership 3. Corp owned (and insured) ships Pilots of the corp can use 4. Stock market fixed 5. Force members to have atleast 1 stock to be a member of the corp (yeah this means old members can effect the votes) but it should also should be posible (if the majority agree) to buy back stock from former members (at a price depending on the value of the corp) this all includes dividens and whatever also being able to publicly trade the stock so that others can invest in a corp (like the Real world) 6. Corp Agents 7. Disolve Corps with 0 members (i still own stock in the Solaris Elite Force and it has no members) 8. a last online butten so we can delete (toss out of the corp) members that has not been online 9. Wages 10. a Chain of command system so we know who we answer to Thank You Paw Sandberg

1.Stock market with quarterly dividends reports so corporations can sell them to get capital to invest. Quarterly dividends reports so you can know and buy stock of the corporations that are making money. You canĘt see the value of a stock by its price alone.
2.Corp. market buy and sell
3.Corp. owned ships say its time to go mining for the your corp. you would go to the corp. hanger pick up a corp. owned mining class ship go mining for an hour come back to the corp. hanger when your done mining park the miner jump back to your own ship and leave and if the corp. owned ship got destroyed who cares its not your plus the corp. insured it
4.Corp. Logos like NPC corp. logos the ones we got suck.
5.Corp. Member benefits package paid by the corp. like free cloning, free skills, free implants, and socks opps.
6.my corp. logo with info on my own charter sheet I can see how long some one has been in a corp. on there charter sheet but I canĘt see my own info on my charter sheet come on
7.Per made voting resolutions what is the point of voting if you canĘt be forced to do what the majority wants. There should per made resolutions like make more socks, buy a space station, vote for new CEO. Say the majority of the vote wanted to buy a space station then the corp. wallet would let the company buy that station but if the majority of vote didnĘt want the station the corp. wallet would not let the corp. wallet buy the station.

5. MOTD for corp chat 6. a different corp description for the in-station office list 7. corp logo on ships
8. display last login (account) at character selection (for the paranoid ones) 9. make \n (newline) work in character bios

* Corp taxes...even though I don't currently intend to use them I still want them in game. * The ability to add subfolders within divisional folders OR let us have different permissions at different stations. * Divisional accounts or a small number of sub-accounts with permissions for members. * A log of entries and withdraws into corp folders. ie who has taken/given what items. * The ability to *flag* corp items with authorisation needed to sell them. ie. Stolen items become contraband and are unsellable on npc market, etc. * Items can be bought and sold for the corp. No personal money transferring. * Access to member skill levels and any alt characters they have available by permission from the player involved. * I also like the idea that someone else posted about setting text colours in corp chat rooms.

1.NO TAX 2.NO TAX 3.NO TAX 4.NO TAX
Why the hell do you guys want taxes? To pay to whom?
You first need a PVP government that rules a solar system then you can pay taxes to that government to help pay for the cost of running that government. In return that government would use your tax isk to support there armies, police ect.
Eve is not ready for that yet first they need to work on making the economy and game play more complex. Stuff like stocks markets PVP banks Corp. Ship and items ownership Better logos like npc corp. logos Real estate New ship classes miners, tugs, titans Ship wreckage in space to be salvaged Deep core mining new ores and minerals ect. Ect.
And if there were taxes I would go some were were there are none nobody is going to take my profits especially a government that is looking out for there best interests.
