It took me a while to try to find a way to respond to your statement without being rude the way you were. I'm American. I think it would be best for you to delete your 2nd paragraph as it is a false statement and quite offensive. I value human life as most Americans do. It is a fundamental right to defend oneself over here. I hate what happened in Florida. Zimmerman never should have got out of the car and should never have approached Trayvon. Trayvon was probably thinking that he needed to defend himself from this guy who was following him. I am sick to my stomach that this beautiful boy was killed. So are many others. But yet, it ended up where Zimmerman needed to defend himself and he did. You throw out your words so lightly as if it's just a fun daily occurance over here and none of us are disturbed by it.
Please be more careful when you post a judgement over a people.

You misunderstand. I'm not saying Americans are a nation of murderers. I'm saying that their insistence on maintaining the right for everyone to carry a gun (the right to be able to kill) is something I do not understand, but Americans seem oddly proud of. It's more intended as "heh, 'Murica right?" than an actual insult.
