That's what I read. And I think I read it before internet era, a time when written words were always true.

The problem with German is the lack of rules, there are so many exceptions that you can hardly find any consistent rules, too many words have their own declinations or conjugations.
Speaking it in a "Me Tarzan You Jane" kind of way (like I probably sound speaking English) might be easy, but even most of the non-ret@rded native speakers here struggle with the grammar occasionally, even me.

Germany has many rules.
Our language does not.

Both Danish and English have less rules and is more random tbh.

Maybe you are right. You don't learn your native tongue by rules, but by habituation, so my view of those rules may be a little skewed.
But every time an exchange student or postgraduate asks me something about our language it usually has the same result. After giving it a little thought, I reply "Well, you are right, that doesn't make sense at all. But that's how you say it."

Try Hebrew with its damn gender words.

Every foreign man sounds gay as he learns hebrew from his gf. Me included.

Because you read Hebrew the other way around, from right to left.
That alone makes it pretty gay already

I've always wanted to learn Gaelic... Then the mouth shuts down as I try and un-think how a word should sound in my head...
