Yes its a sim. Although Flaming Cliffs is simpler then lets say DCS: A-10C with its true to life avionics and systems.
Anyone can try the game for free here http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/world/ thats the base game then you can buy extra aircraft if you want. I just hope you have a joystick.
Edit: then if you're serious about it like me, A HOTAS (throttle and stick with tons of buttons) joystick is a must along with TrackIR for moving your head in the cockpit without pressing buttons.

On the other note unfortunately I dont have a computer joystick as to play sim games with....I haven't had in quite a while. |
