Elite can be pretty fun when you get into a private group with some friends and go out bounty hunting with each other. Hell even just flying around with each other and admiring the ships is fun too.

If someone wants to mine, explore, trade, or bounty hunt without interference from other players, they may do so. This pretty much means that if you log on to open play looking for PvP, you'll probably only find other players who are also looking to do the same. I know this is a huge turn-off for many EVE players.
The co-op is excellent IMO. I've had a lot of putzing around with Kate. My username in-game is Carm, please add me (goes for anyone) should you feel so inclined.

"good few hours" is a bit of an understatement. If you like one post every 1.5s (aggressive considering scrolling and page loads) it will take 54 hours to like this thread.

The guys are heading out on a joint-op bomber thing, meanwhile I'm gonna relax. It's been a long day.
So we're sitting around in system, not much is happening, chatting away after an earlier skirmish with some nullseccers outside. I think someone killed something, because they were mad out there and I was trolling them a little bit afterward.
Suddenly amid the calm "bling" corp notification starbase is under attack. lol I figured it was probably Jack again because he's been doing that a bit lately since he discovered he can shoot our pos with it's own guns. Turns out it's not Jack, it's these nullseccers came into our wormhole and are shooting one of our pos.
They mustn't have scouted the system real well because we all warped over to the pos and welp.
So that was random, and a lot of fun. One of our guys chases a pod out of the wormhole and into null. He catches it on a gate and then Suddenly Blob. We all respond with no logi of course (yolo) and a good time ensues.
They bring in an Archon so we gtfo, Erica's pointed by some Vexor so she kills that solo and bails. Dani somehow makes it out also. They bring a 2nd Archon and come up to our hole. We reship to armor T3, 3 x Guardians and a Naglfar and wait on the hole. They refuse to fight "Won't be able to break your 4 guardians". Counting is hard, so we tell them sure we'll reship to 2 Archon instead if they like. They go away, and gf gf gf is exchanged.
Hopefully someone frapsed that **** because it was intense.
