Not quite true... the majority of us (especially foreigners that move to iceland or other offices) really do love the game and came for the game. There are many other jobs that pay as good or more :)
Mhm. There are always exceptions, and every coffee shop has a few people behind the counter who're always wonderful. Take CCP Explorer, for instance. Don't take my remarks personally though, it's just my general feelings when it comes to interacting with, or reacting to, anything CCP related directed at the user base or an individual. I try not to fall into the fog that many seem to of "unconditional-love" for a game development team simply because they're the individuals working for a franchise which makes the "coffee" I love.
Everyone makes bad decisions at some time, errors in work or attitude slips in communication. Users and teamlers alike. And it's generally only those with a consumer-mindset that provide any backstop when it comes to the teamlers.

I would assume this, heh, sure it's a job, yes, but you also gotta love what you're doing, and from what I see on the forums (I have lurked quite a bit ...) CCP devs/gms/ect care about it here too. Which is one of the things that I love about this community <3 No other game has that same fuzzy feel that I have played.
