I might be, not certain. coming closer to the limit for me to get a good night's sleep, at the moment. About three is my maximum, unless I'm being sadistic against my own capacity to function, which I have been, of late. Been having too good a time to go to bed early.
Am addicted to the Dusette & Co. Collective, I think. |

I don't make seventeen jumps out of a home system for just anyone; the Dusettes have been a lifesaver to my emotions, in the last few weeks. I've got a few contracts I need to close out on, but I'm mass-skilling up on productions so I can hit supply chain management, and close them out without a hitch.
I mean, yeah; Liaf Cipe is cute as a button, and all, but he just ain't my cuppa tea. A wonderful bloke, but the Dusettes and the LeMews are a complete and utter godsend to the insanity running around in my daily existence.

You can understand, a little, now, what each evening I get home from work is like, now. Lmao. Feed and water the cat, check'is box for kitty roca to drop into the closest trash can w/bag, empty my pockets of change and settle down at the computer for a few hours--my creativity has quadrupled in the last little while, and my stories, although Dusette-oriented in some cases--have regained their natural sensuality I'm usually known for. In some cases somewhat visceral, every piece cerebral and twisting....
Yeah.
This story as it has been unfolding has been a complete shift in my inability to think straight.

That's really nice of you to say that .... "lovely" would be an understatement.

*coughs*
Wow .. uhhmm, well while my puppeteer also settles in at home, and I compose myself from all this blushing n' stuff, I'll try and tell you all a little story ....
Grand Theft ******* Fleet.
So Boss n' me are just chilling at the Pos. We're talking to our friends on comms, browsing forums a little, I'm being an idiot in a couple of channels, etc. It'd been a good day. Started out when Jezza tackles some Hurricane on a gate in a nullsex system off our wormhole chain. A couple folks are moving to help him, and we're just listening in. Stuff like his happens all the time, it's not a red alert just a little skirmish. Then I hear "Cyno up, Cyno up, he's lit a cyno."
Oh dear. "What's coming through?"
There's an agonizing wait, nothing seems to be jumping in then ... Suddenly Archon.
Okay so now it's red alert and everyone is tripping over themselves to ship up and get out to null to murder this Archon and the handful of subcaps supporting him. Jezza dies trying to keep it tackled, and we all land just as the Archon is warping off...
But he's still in system. In fact he's bouncing safe spots and we're probing him down while killing the remaining subcaps. A lot of failed warp-ins ensue, Archon just warping off every time we land until finally we get a bubble on him. Start laying in, we don't have many pilots so Issere cynos in with her Naglfar and helps headshot the Archon.
Insert laughter, back slapping and elitist circle-jerking here as we head home victorious.
A little later we run into Wingspan and enjoy what is a really fun skirmish with them, beating them at their own game of Torpedo Delivery as our Bombers kick their face in after Boss unintentionally baits them by warping into their drag bubble and getting decloaked by their cans. It was a good day, and we didn't think it could get much better. Boss n' me return to Sketchy Pos and continue to chill out.
Meanwhile .... somewhere deep in nullsex ...
Foedus is flying around doing Foedus things. This same region is where he once pulled off a daring theft of capital ships after correctly guessing a POS forcefield password, which was 1234. As he is telling us this story on comms he is trying the same thing on a Russian POS again and ... whaddaya know? 1234.
Comms becomes "HFIU#UG!!!!!OHDHD!!!!" and we all jump into our pods and head out to null where we begin taking all the ships they have left floating in the POS one by one back to Aurora. Barghests, Tengus, Proty, Rattlesnakes, Phobos, Typhoon, Drakes, you name it ...
But what we're really interested in is the 2 Chimera and the Bowhead also floating ...
We don't have a Chimera pilot online though. So in the end we decide we'll bump the capitals out of the pos and kill them. We begin doing this as one of the Russians logs in at the POS. He quickly gets into the Bowhead and we're trying desperately to bump him out of the pos still and keep him from warping. Sadly he managed to warp, saving his Bowhead, but not the 2 Chimera along with a ton of other stuff totaling 13b+ and climbing.
This poor guy ... he didn't change the force field password, likely because he couldn't - his leadership probably setup his POS like that, with absolutely no defences and 1234 password. He came back in one last time in a hauler, desperately trying to salvage what he could, only to be killed and podded out by us for his trouble, losing his 1.2b pod to boot.
There were numerous others from his corp/alliance in local.
Nobody tried to help, not a word was said in local as this poor guy lost everything.
We're still not sure of the total haul, discounting kills, but here's just a small peek at some of what was taken.
Yarr.

I dunno what will happen with the loot. Boss n' me weren't interested in that, just the Chimera kills and story alone was #worth. It was all just pooled together and it'll get worked out later I guess. Foedus should probably have the initial rights to it all though as he scouted the whole thing and cracked the POS password.

Oh good lord, that's a nice haul. :D
Had quite a bit of fun myself last night! The poetry slam and re-opening party for a lounge had a great turnout, more than I expected, actually! Kaae's date was right on time (I appreciate punctuality!), looked fantastic, and lots of good times were had. Especially the poetry readings, although after a particularly solemn one, someone's datapad went off. Loudly.
I thought it was actually pretty funny, but wasn't a really appropriate time to burst out laughing, and there was a bit of unpleasantness. |

Howdy folks! *tips Stetson*
A word to any software coders out there: Help Button "B" on dialogue box "D" would be more helpful if it did not solely open an external browser window to a page that only gives instructions on how to open dialogue box "D" in the first place.
Also, just saying, it's fun to be wakened by your offspring slamming cupboards in the kitchen because she's mad at her sibling who isn't willing to take on the duties of watching his nephews while their Mom goes off and does her own thing for the 6th day in a row. If I slammed stuff every time either one of them failed to do follow through on expectations, let alone answering to my selfish whims, the house would have fallen down by now.
Just saying.

All those objects seem to be in scale. Human fits in the gecko 34 m long axis, the mobile depot is 56 m long axis, the object under the Stratios hull, commonly described as a mini shuttle could fit humans inside. Its even bulkier than Gecko.

Very cool little tidbit!
Recently saw the video on how to change the FOV in-game, really changed my perspective on the scale of things in EVE. It's too bad that it works so much better to play zoomed out. I think seeing the true scale would improve things visually. |

The Pro Synergy Pilot is not just a fighting man, he is a salvage expert.-áIf it is lost, in the blackness of space, he will find it. If it has been destroyed, he will loot and salvage it. If it is in his way, he will move it. If he is lucky he will be podded 20 jumps from home, for this is the closest he come to being hero.
