I was playing killing floor when my alliance took out a fleet last night. They killed a maelstrom with jackdaws. This new area is full of content.

I heard Lazerhawks have moved into a lot of Lowsec stuff now too, even mention it in their recruiting post.
I think everyone was blown away after that fight. After the adrenaline wore down everyone's just logged or gone off comms in this stunned silence. Bellies full and eyes bulging. I'm still going 'wow', had to spit it all out in an AARish post
Ilaister FC'd the first round in static, Drunk Foedus (Best Foedus) FC'd the second round in their home.
Killboard looks so one-sided, but it absolutely didn't feel like that at all. Candi's Proty was neutted dry the whole time and fighting just to keep her guns cycling. Our Guardians dry too so they couldn't help her. Meanwhile my Legion's getting jammed constantly by their Jamgu's. Relocking all your targets when unjammed, trying to work the Proty's cap in the other screen, following primaries, Candi being yelled at to move.

Dual boxing's easy I think when it's the same type of ship, same systems. You're just doing the same thing, only one ship will be a second or two behind the first.
Different ship types though and it can get challenging, I don't need to worry about cap on my Legion but I do on a Proteus, plus different optimals and orbits, etc. Changing your 'mindset' from screen to screen is hard sometimes lol When there's three or four it can just turn into a mess sometimes though...

it's caldari space, it's always popular 
learning the area is the main thing right now, need to learn who the bombers/baiters/drop-bcs-on-frigates people are.
i used to dual box missions, one running it, one salvaging behind, and because i only have one screen and i use all the screen for my UI, i ended up concentrating too much on one character. i could never do it in pvp.
with the people who live in this new area, i hope i'll get to use some of my bigger toys. i only just got one of them back as it was sitting in my old home for months....

Had a nice relaxing time at the pub last night after work. First round was on the house because of the birthday celebration. Got home in time to read to the boys before their mother put them to bed. They're mere months shy of their 3rd and 4th birthdays, and my daughter has decided to stop reading them Dr. Seuss and is now reading them The Hobbit. I'm not convinced that's the proper level for them, they usually don't pay much attention when I'm reading them Horton Hears a Who, or I Saw it on Mulberry Street.

What a wonderful day.
Woke up early, retched at the smell of food for breakfast, left for a doctor's appointment, got lost (which never happens, I'm worse off than I thought), had an anxiety attack, finally made it to doctor's office, found out I've lost 20 lbs (that I can't afford to lose) in the past 2 months, got exsanguinated for blood tests, had to ride home lightheaded, got pulled over right outside my apartment for no reason whatsoever, now am weak, shaky, and overheated. :< |
