Looking forward to the weekend. I could really use a little more sleep.
My son is having his first "Casual Friday" today, had to loan him clothes to wear since he has nothing that counts as either "casual" or "business casual" in any sense. He was planning to wear a pair of blue jeans and a tee-shirt, said jeans having more holes in them than the plot of a Star Wars prequel. I found a pair of clean black jeans a size too big for him to wear, and a nice sky blue polo that was too small for me. Told him we're going to get him some more clothes tomorrow and he gets to pay me back from his first paycheck.
Unlike our zoomy friend Merks, I am a coffee drinker. Can't abide tea, or rather haven't found one yet I like. Not that I'm looking ya unnastan'. Still I think it would be a step up if I were to expand my beverage pool by finding a tea I enjoy drinking other than the honey and lemon one I use when I'm sick.
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend. My posting over the weekend isn't usually too frequent, this weekend doesn't appear that it'll be any different. *tips Stetson*

Those leaving were given 2 weeks notice yesterday, new folks coming over on Monday and those leaving are supposed to help their replacements get up to speed on the project.

I haven't watched that o7 Show yet. I use prepaid internet while I'm at work and have crashed and burned hard when I get home the past couple days. Took me a little while to place what thread that was, then I remembered it's this one right here in OOPE.
That's a great story and a lovely initiative of sorts. Awesome to see it get exposure on o7 show.
This is a great community and CCP seem to enjoy supporting good causes like that too, hopefully those kids get a ton of support as a result of that thread and have a blast enjoying EVE while kicking the sh*t out of their illnesses. GÖÑ

Would hate to be in that position. Certainly don't envy those folks.
Often wondered how I'd feel ever having to do something like that should we lose our contract. I'd be more worried about finding another job I think and too spiteful to stick around training my replacement lol Would probably take the last two weeks off on sick leave or something.

Finally back to the hotel room after a long shoot day.
I am sore, guess I'm getting a little long in the tooth for this kind of stuff, crew performed exemplary, Gear also functioned with out a hitch. Location shoots that keep me away from my family and my comfy bed are not as exciting as they use to be.
long long hours means OT and golden time directly from my pocket.
The crew performed exemplary, and knock on my woodenhead all the gear did also.
75 pages in 8 days is ambitious but our permits can not be extended. So if next you see me and I've pulled all my hair out try to understand.
