Can somebody here please tell me I'm having nightmare and that CCP Rise's proposal to the Megathron was just a very mean troll?

Let me say it right out - as one of the leading industrial races Gallente players were hit hardest with the recent mining barge changes, and players have been very vocal about bringing back battleship mining as one of the cherished traditions of EVE.

With the success of the Venture we realized the demand for faster and more mobile mining platforms to make mining a much more dynamic and engaging process and are very excited to take this concept with the new Megathron to the next level.
The idea is to have a tough but mobile ship with excellent agility and tracking for speed tanking asteroids.

For balancing reasons, we have removed the drone bay entirely, but this change is still open to discussion and we are eagerly expecting your feedback on this matter.
