What if those 100 Star Destroyer lasers damage are the equivalent of 1 Civilian laser with lvl 1 skills or worse? I never got the impression Star wars was that high tech! They donÆt have nano tech, or many of the techs we have, Doomsday device would devastate them and things like smartbombs and SB bombs they wouldnÆt have a clue how to deal with. Starwars shields and amour plates donÆt repair them selfÆs during combat as far as I can tell. As for EW well Starwars wouldnÆt stand a chance they would never get a lock let alone fire 1v1. I bet they donÆt have a way to deal with energy drain either. There is a good chance 1 anti 425mm railgun would just knock down the Star wars shields in 1 volley. Going by lore pod pilots would have a massive advantage over Star Destroyers with crew and slow response time. We can do things with our ships and respond to things faster that they cannot even dream off. Passive shield tanking guide click here

mill veters	Posted - 2007.12.16 23:26:00 - [18] star destroyer 1600m (1 mile) super star destroyer 8000m (5 miles) 2nd super star destroyer (blue guy) 17,000m (10.6 miles) a titan is around 15000-20000m 15-20km and probably the only ship that could take on one with its doomday weapon.

So any interceptor or the like. Drive behind the bridge shoot the turrets there, pop the shield gens and it won't be able to fire back. Or drive to the launch port, where it can't shoot and kill it from there. Been there, done that with every ship in x-wing, not a problem, not even difficult... For larger ships, no idea. Propably an EW ship with anti fighter gear. In the end, Imperial Star destroyers are figher carriers able to also deploy significants amounts of infantry and also has quite a bit of firepower... ___ P.S. Post with your main. Whereas in star wars, destroyers were prety special, frigates were decent sised, and then there were the small corvettes and fighers. Prety much any eve cruiser would probably kick a star destroyers ass.
Laboratus Gallente BGG Atrum Tempestas Foedus	Posted - 2007.12.17 00:24:00 - [26] Mate, they are about the size of eve battleships with around a hundred laser turrets and the ability to laucnh 6 squads (72) fighters (even though you gotto remember they are basic eggshells, but if you get unlucky they carry tie advanced or some such other nasty versions). 72 fighters, hurt. They can't armor tank though, and they have vulnerable guns and shield gens so that is a definite minus. ___ P.S. Post with your main. Mind control and tin hats
