I did. Even though my PC supports the premium graphics it just didn't run right and lagged a lot. |

my system can run one client but not two smoothly so I switched back.

Same here, I'm always using 2 accounts and even with 1 premium + 1 classic it's just slows down my computer too much.

yea the premium lasted about 10 minutes because when you try to run 2 or more accounts it lags like a mother and you can't fleet combat in it at all.

I can dual account fine with premium, so I haven't used classic since.

i run amd x2 3800 w/ 4GB DDR 400 and eVGA 7800GTX and I still run classic. Much faster for fleet work. Guess it comes down to preference, 1. Stunning graphics w/ slideshow PVP or 2. EvE classic.

Well, unfortunantly that's what causes most lag, a poor graphics card. The other part is just a bad system. Then it would be poor internet connection.

I run Premium all the time, and couldn't stand having to use Classic all the time. That said, once I get it installed, I plan to run my alt on Classic anyway to minimise any negative effects. If my computer can't run that properly then I'm going to be ****ed considering what's in it

I switched too, on both a laptop and a desktop PC.
Botrh of which can run premium, but the FPS just went out the window and the game was ugly and laggy.
Shame.
I know that the forums only represent a certain amount of the chacters ingame, however I feel that they can be a tool to measure success in an implementation such as Trinity.
The reason why forums can be thought to represent a bigger amount of ingame characters than what is actually logged at browsing them, is due to alts, and multiple accounts with multiple alts.
For instance:
If I'm logged at being one user out of 300k out of the game as a whole, this would be an inaccurate count, as I make use of more than 1 account and alts on all accounts, so rather I should count for 12 in total :)
The point of this?
That CCP, hopefully, has a tool to measure ingame usage of premium graphics content on characters and thus has an accurate count.
If not, I'm abit disappointed, but then CCP can use the forums to gauge the effects.
A 50 page thread, with 1 post per paying customer, not account, nor character would serve to hammer a point through:
Trinity is all glitter and glammer, but we miss the performance (my own opinion).

I cannot run two clients at once with the premium. So I switched back.

Since I have a really nice comp I can run 3 accounts on premium just fine, thing is that I sometiems get the black/grey map thingy, and it almost cost me a ship already, so I might try out the classic lcient to see if that solves the problem.
And yes I have the latest drivers and all.

1 Premium and 1 Classic.
My system CAN run 2 Premium clients fine because I've done it on occasion, but it's fishy.
Most of the time when I start a second Premium clients it's choppy from the log-in screen all the way into the game. A few times tho, it's just fine and dandy and I get +80FSP running 2 premium clients.
It's weird but so are most of the Trinity bugs.

My card supports Premium but there's really no reason at all to use it aside from the REALLY PRETTY STATIONS... I switched after getting annoyed with the some of the more irritating "known issues" such as the strobing text in space (which was just downright nauseating).

I could run 2 Premium clients just fine. Unfortunately my client crashes at about every second gate I warp to, which is kind of annoying and made me switch back :/

I hear you but EVE seems to really struggle with some pretty basic graphics. Eves graphics stutter worse than nearly any other game I have played. The solar system map is ridiculous considering it is pretty much just static content.

I've switched back to classic on my desktop as well, after having random crashes in EVE for no apparent reason. I bugreported it, gave them logserver output, windows even viewer error messages, complete system information for hardware/software (even including what other software I have/had running at the time), a 'mostly happens when I do this' even though it could happen when not even doing anything at all.
The bugreport stayed open for a few days, I had a dev on IRC even display interest and promising to look into it '.. as this is a very odd failure', but a few days later the report was simply closed with a 'not enough information' message 
My card is more than up to the task of Premium, seeing as it's an 8800GT 512mb. Even running EVE over two monitors still gives me pretty decent FPS in Premium. But the crashes at the most inconvenient times is something I can't play with. I wish I could run Premium all the time though, it's pretty enough for for it.

I feel the need to qualify my previous statement further by pointing out that since trinity both the premium and classic graphics cause BSoDs on my main gaming machine, making the game basically unplayable for me anyway.
But dual-clienting when the client doesn't *****my OS is totally possible.

Off the shelf Acer Dual Core 2.4GHZ system running Vista (ugh), some crappy 128MB video card, and Trinity graphics work fine for me.

I've never seen stutter in eve.
check your CPU and GPU heat.
add a fan if you need it.
