I'm curious to how many players think that getting rid of the "warp-to-zero" option for gates and station would make gameplay more interesting and fun, or less interesting and more a pain. The concept would be to get rid of the warp to zero option for all gates and stations. Instajump bookmarks would not work as well because a sortof 'warp-distruption' bubble would exist around the stations and gates which automatically drops ships out of warp at the 15km point. Like this post if you like this idea. Some example reasons to like this idea are
1. Gate-camping would be even more effective. 2. Easier to patrol your claimed territor because you can catch intruders more easily 3. Hi-sec War declarations would be more fun and effective because you have more opprotunity to 'catch' your enemies 4. Hi-sec suicide ganking would be more common 5. It would multiple the advantage of smaller faster ships as more useful than larger ships. 6. Other.
Post alternative, reasoning below.
No, all this does is make gate camping more appealing, and gate camping is the PVP equivalent of mining. |

10KM warp disruption effect in highsec, they are internal checkpoints, like in real life! You have to be stopped and searched by CONCORD/Faction police. Take all the tech Build all the titans Drop all the POSes

No likes for you either way OP, you are an idiot.

Nope. Check my ingame birthdate Dumbass. Now whose's the idiot. If you played the game before the change of "warp to Zero" was implemented, then you should know why was that change implemented and would never ask for the backtracking you do.
And since obviously you fail at remembering, I will remind you that the amount of bookmarks as well as the infamous Bookmark copying (for the new members of a corporation) was putting a heavy load on the cluster, making the playing experience poor for all the community and not just the persons in the system copying was taking place.
The warp to zero feature was indeed asked by a lot of people back in the day, but it was implemented by CCP for specific reasons that had nothing to do with gate camping exclusively.
If they wanted to nerf gate camping once and for all, they would have implemented warp to zero in autopilot too. Which they didn't |

No.
Sole reason is because I don't want to go back to having 600 bookmarks per region (Insta jumps hooo!) I'll be joining the FDU on May 1st.-á Ladies! Please contain yourselves.

One hand I like the notion of not being probed out to 0... On the other that's really the only benefit. Everything else is way to useful... EG: warping to a corp member or a can. |

While I can appreciate and similarly desire your goal to increase the "interaction time" between players on gates. I would not be willing to GREATLY increase all my travel times to do so.

warp to zero is only an issue in empire and low sec
however any changes would effect the entire game including null and W-space
just because it's a thorn in your side does not mean it is for everyone The American public's reaction to the change was poor and the new cola was a major marketing failure. The subsequent reintroduction of Coke's original formula, re-branded as "Coca-Cola Classic", resulted in a significant gain in sales, leading to speculation that the introduction of the New Coke formula was just a marketing ploy |

I was around before warp to zero, and i remember the time before we started doing regional bookmarks. EvE felt massive then, and that was something i loved. leaving your home system to go on 20 jump trip was an adventure.
but EvE had evolved and i believe warp to zero is here to stay. there are more of us now, we play in larger groups and we are spread out more and no longer concentrated in single systems, fast traveling i think is essential for the kind of group play we got today. i am just a little sad that you who weren't around back then got to experience how it was like. (and no warp zero is not the only reason eve feels smaller today) |
