What I would do is try too make a deal with IAC if I had the mom. A. Ask for at least the Isk that was used too purchase the mom. B. Ask for the items TT droped when the IAC guys poped him trying too escape. C. Must be set too good standing (If thats what you want too) D. Maybe a free dread or carrier
Then give Jim his Mom back, Yes you would lose some isk but what you would gain is alot of respect in the Eve community. Ships come and go, but respect is something that cannot be just bought in Jita it has too be earned. Imagine how this will help your recruiting drives or your diplomacy when you need help one day?
IAC would lose some items and isk but again as before the eyes of Eve are watching your alliance right now and how you handle this situation. How many pilots and corps will you keep or be able to recruit if you try too just forget this ever happened? It would be a huge moral booster for your remaining pilots in my opinion too know your alliance will be their to back them up isk wise if their chips are ever down.
Give the dang ship back, its the smart thing too do. P.S: and jim if you ever do get it back and you fall asleep again im gonna ram that thing with a ibis till it pops.

Morris is a hypocrit (and a ginger) , the entire reason for this thread is that there were jump clones in the Wyvern, and he can't remove them without the owners of them finding out who has it.
So he makes it public to get some attention and some pats on the back for scamming a lowlife thief Bonus points for IAC being weakend by internal strife so his alliance doesn't get its ass kicked by a bunch of drunken carebears
I'm surprised anyone is wasting their breath trying to get -A- of all people to return stolen goods, not exactly the posterchilds for "honorable" now are they ? What next? Pleading with BoB to stop being arrogant ?

Tyrrax, stop using this thread to your own good. Alliances like CVA and Sylph came out there to help you not so long ago, not only did you steal from your own corpmates, but you made us wonder what the hell we where doing there in the first place. It's up to new IAC leadership to show that IAC is not rotten to the core.
And as far as Morris is concerned, I still give him the benefit of the doubt, as he can still do the right thing.

I might have missed it - this is a long thread after all - but haven't seen any CVA comments regarding any motherships (or anything else for that matter) in this thread.
Please feel free to evemail me to explain what you are going on about.

This isn't a civilized country. This is 0.0 Regardless of origin, we scammed a two faced, doublecrossing scammer who most likely cost AAA many a ship by selling intel to the enemy. The ship stays where it is. Thank you for playing

Apologies. I now see that a CVA member did make a comment. That is what you get for surfing the forums when not logged in and not recognising a new member's names .
At the end of the day this matter does not concern either CVA or Sylph or Paxton (as entities) and we should refrain from comment on the matter.
We can all make individual moral judgements on the behaviour of various participants in this drama but please do not assume that the various individuals presenting their opinions are necessarily representative of an 'official' alliance view!
Obviously, as neighbours, we do have an interest in the future direction and alignment of IAC but that is not something we will (or should) be debating on CAOD!

I fail to see the hypocracy in Mo¦s actions. And you are mistaken TT, it was easy enough to repackage the MS or simply just have one of our out of ally chars board it to destroy clones. We wanted you. You have thiefed, scammed and lied your way to where you were two days ago. You have pretty much lived the high life at the expense of others may it be ISK, goods or deeds.
And don¦t try to turn this into "will aAa return it to jim" You Stole it from him We stole it from you. You broke the trust of your long time corpmember and kiked him from UMCON for being emo about it. We certainly broke your trust, but then again you are a liar and a thief and pretty proud of it too.
And plz spare us the bs about whos gonna kick whos ar*e, it¦s just as pathetic as you illutions of grandeur.

This is entirely untrue and based on nothing but your own warped interpretation of a situation you utterly failed to understand.
For many years I have been in contact with Arach, as I find him a most amusing and pleasant character. At no point have I expressed any desire to buy my way in or out of anything, despite what you say.
The receipt of a mothership by Arach was simply because I had been playing WoW exclusively for a period of 9 or so months and I had been constantly pestered by various parties on MSN to give them the ship. This infuriated me as I have no desire to be pestered while I am trying to play WoW. Arach and I thought it might amuse some people if I were to give it to him and this is what we did.
As for where I got the money to purchase the ship, you would be quite surprised, but I can say that it was in no way grinded.
It was never used by myself because the only reason I purchased it was because I had already quit EvE, had/have a very large sum of money with which I had nothing better to do than buy something large and useless.
On several occasions Valora and I tried to use the mothership in combat, but every single attempt in massive failure, with the enemy running away (or being killed by our two battleships before the mothership could load - remember I had 56k still back then). At every opportunity I tried to use the ship, but you will find that when you have no desire to play the game full time, finding a fight back then was quite hard.
Anyhow, I just felt I might as well set you straight. You probably will disbelieve the post but frankly I could not care less, I have not played eve for almost two years. Please visit your user settings to re-enable images. |
