The truth is, most of CAOD isn't supposed to care about this thread, as it is primarily about a couple of entities that none of you know yet (one of which you never really will). For the few people who ARE supposed to read this thread, I submit the following hook: ITT: GOON PETS SET BOB BLUE That's right. And we have proof or it. First, though, without going too far into TL;DR status (I know, I already have, but deal with it), a little bit of background. A long time ago a Goon Pet alliance called VENOM, made up of Viper Co., THEMM, SMRI and others helped take D2EZ-X in Omist. I don't know all the details, but I've seen some pretty fun-looking screenshots. Goons let them keep the station and the constellation. Months later, treachery and backstabbing led SMRI to form its own alliance. They called this alliance Anthrax Death (ANTX). SMRI's CEO, Soulara, is (apparently) some sort of ex-goon or something, and has strong personal ties to the swarm. So naturally, ANTX would be another Goon pet alliance. Many corporations went with SMRI, including INSU and eventually DFIAS (that's me), as a lot of people could see parts of the failure that VENOM Alliance was about to experience. Fast forward a couple more months, UNL resets standings, VENOM handles it poorly and is summarily erased from 0.0 by United Legion. Key players in the backstabbing that took place within VENOM Alliance were TeamBETAAlpha, TheBEANman and Mizztres Death (GKM) - but even to those who were close to the situation, it was difficult to see who was playing who and to what end. And so, as VENOM collapsed, more corporations were accepted into ANTX, including GKM. At that time, ANTX were still neutral with UNL and Mizztres Death was able to do what none of the diplos in ANTX had managed to do up to that point: he managed to arrange standings with United Legion and so we watched in safety as UNL stepped their operations up to full throttle and struck the final blow, taking D2EZ-X, NZW and DZ6 away from VENOM (they'd gotten the latter 2 stations from KOS as KOS fell under -A-'s might). Right around the time this was happening, Soulara, the CEO of SMRI and Executor of ANTX was making a deal with IRC to purchase the station at C9N. Remember a month or so ago when there was that thread, "What's happening in C9N?" Here's the actual answer: ANTX bought C9N from Intrepid Crossing for a sum of 12B. However, at the exact moment sov flipped and ANTX was about to go about beating the station down to 'capture' it, in jumps a massive Stain Empire capital fleet with incredible support. In short order, the ANTX "deathstar" was destroyed and replaced by an SE tower. A lot of lies would be told, a lot of politicking would be done, but in the end it was clear to those who saw it - ANTX had been set up and played masterfully... not that we'd made it difficult to do. It was handled terribly on our end, and we all acknowledge that. It was incredibly bad for morale, though, which was to be expected. We all dried our tears and went back to Omist, to subsist on the crap space between UNL and TCF - the stuff nobody else wanted. Then, only a week or two later, Mizztres Death (remember, the savior who had gotten standings with UNL sorted out), tells Soulara that his contact(s) in UNL might be willing to make a deal for 2 Promethium moons SMRI held in Omist, next door to the D2EZ-X station system that UNL had recently taken from VENOM. The deal Mizztres Death described to Soulara and the rest of the ANTX CEOs was that SMRI would give up the two moons and UNL would hand over NZW, DZ6 and both constellations. It was a concern that -A- was close by, naturally. Mizztres Death assured us all that his UNL contact promised they could talk to -A- and get ANTX set blue. But at the same time, another CEO in ANTX was talking to a different contact in UNL, and being told that it wasn't going to happen - period. Originally by: techzer0 I'm invincible until proven wrong
Havohej The Defias Brotherhood DEFI4NT	Posted - 2008.05.26 13:18:00 - [2] This other ANTX CEO told Soulara of the negative news from UNL, but Soulara made a very normal mistake. He heard a good story, and a bad one, and he decided to believe in the good story, no matter how unrealistic (-A- is notably difficult to get positive standings with - they're not generaly known as a NAP alliance and they certainly had no need for standings with a group like ANTX!). This led to a struggle for power and favor in the alliance, and it began to split along party lines, just as VENOM had done. Lies were told and backs were stabbed and finally, the fact that Mizztres Death had indeed come through on the UNL standings issue, and then arranged for ANTX to come into possession of NZW (SMRI did in fact hand over its 2 Promethium moons in Omist, but only got NZW in return - it appears that MD lied about the inclusion of DZ6 in the bargain), these 2 very solid points in MD's favor were all he needed to convince Soulara to boot INSU from ANTX on the grounds of non-participation. INSU had been renting TCF space in Omist still, instead of committing billions of ISK to NZW as they had done for C9N. NZW's constellation has 6 Bistot belts, in WSK. No Arkonor, no other Bistot, the truesec of the space is atrocious - it would've been impossible for INSU to work to recuperate its losses form the C9N debacle in Tenerifis in the space SMRI had purchased. No matter how many times they explained to Soulara that they had no problem 'participating' but they had capital ships and raw ISK to replace, it fell on deaf (and dazzled) ears. And so one day, with no warning, no mention to the rest of the alliance CEOs, no nothing, INSU were kicked from Anthrax Death and set to -10.0 standings. I immediately set corp standings positive and advised my people that under no circumstances were they to engage an INSU ship. I was not the only ANTX CEO to do so. At this point, there were plenty of laughs about it between Soulara, Mizztres Death and their toadies (primarily MOAN and T5K, two corporations whose CEOs are RL brothers). Mizztres Death told Soulara over and over that he would use his connections to make sure INSU were neutral or red to UNL and TCF and would be kicked out of Omist. It never happened. When INSU formed DEFI4NT alliance, MD swore that TCF and UNL would not give the new entity standings or docking rights. They did. ANTX launched attacks on DEFY in TCF's space in Omist - TCF forced ANTX and DEFY to exchange blue standings and cease fire in TCF space. This arrangement quickly degenerated as hostilities commenced outside of TCF space, with DEFY showing that it was not afraid, traveling the 20+ jumps from Omist to NZW to strike back at ANTX's own 'stronghold'. There is no disputing who has made a better showing. DEFY has consistently defeated Anthrax Death gangs. Citing stress and RL health issues, Soulara has reportedly removed himself and all of his alts from SMRI corporation, forming a brand new corporation of which the description states that they're just mining ice in highsec space. When he left, he transfered control of the station to Mizztres Death and GKM. MD was the new head of ANTX. This didn't last long, but during his brief tenure, having been so thoroughly trounced by upstart alliance DEFY, MD made a deal with the devil. Goodfellas alliance is a regular group of faces in Omist and Tenerifis (and elsewhere I'm sure). They roam in nanogangs - usually of 4 or 5 ships, often with a few BoB pilots along for the ride to fly with old friends. Their efficiency is indisputable, they're good at what they do. Mizztres Death payed Goodfellas to attack DEFY but leave ANTX alone. Because BoB flies with GODS often, MD was told he would have to set BoB blue to ANTX. He did. One night, while a DEFY fleet was hanging out in NZW, having forced everyone to dock up and camping the station, playing with a Revelation that they'd undocked (knowing it would just dock once it was really in trouble, as it had come out with no support fleet whatsoever) the strangest thing happened. A Goodfellas/BoB gang, twice the size of their normal nano fleets, jumped into the system, came right to the station, and instead of engaging the dread naught that by this time was beyond docking range and clearly in distress, they went right to work in systematically dismantling the DEFY fleet. We even got this part on video. A few words were exchanged on local, and Redia, INSU Director and one of the leaders of DEFY, convo'd Endeva and Drug Kito to find out what exactly had just happened. When this got out, they CEOs remaining in ANTX did all they could to cover it up and they moved quickly to take over the alliance, booting GKM (and MD with them) by surprise. Constantinus Maximus, CEO of PAX Interstellar Services, took over but didn't know exactly how taking a station worked so at the time of this post, he has accepted a GKM application to return to ANTX with the intention of allowing Mizztres Death to peacefully transfer the station to him so he can re-expel GKM from ANTX. He contacted DEFY Executrix ms kypp about a possible end to hostilities. During that conversation, while discussing the fact that Mizztres Death had spread a rumor that DEFY were BoB pets (which is untrue), Constantinus Maximus inadvertently admits that ANTX hired Goodfellas (which, in turn, means that they set BoB blue). Pfft. One thing that I found interesting is that, while CM admits that ANTX hired Goodfellas and set BoB blue, nowhere does he say that this arrangement has been called off. While MD might have been the one to make the deal, even though he's no longer in ANTX, Constantinus Maximus confirms that it wasn't just Mizztres Death acting alone - the rest of the ANTX leadership knew about it and his lack of apology or verbal renunciation of that agreement between MD and Endeva + Drug Kito implies acceptance, approval and support of the deal. Indeed, I'm sure that he's happy to have GODS and BoB protecting his flank from DEFY while ANTX works to sort out control of their constellation during the current change of power. There's an entire convo between ms kypp and Constantinus Maximus that would take up three posts in and of itself, but I think I've posted enough here for one morning. The purpose of this post is to make public every piece of evidence we have to preemptively protect ourselves fromt he stream of lies that we know is about to be told to Tau Ceti Federation (our landlords), United Legion (our closest powerful neighbors) and GoonSwarm (they're everywhere). Tldr version (without flaming). Venom goes heads up. Some go to anthrax death who screws over a couple of corps. Those corps make defiant. anthrax death hires a well known 'bob-blue' corp to defend them, and in so doing get blue standings to bob while still being goon/tcf/unl pets. defiant feel butt-hurt Think I got most the points Anoint Recruitment
