Right so heres a odd question, when is ccp going to let those who dont need the airlines start buying tickets to the fanfest.
Just asking cause well, I live walking distance away form you and havent seen anything about the fanfest tickets up anywhere yet.
Which to me is strange got mine in May for last years fanfest.
Either way I'll be there, hopefully doing less running around then last year. *Cross's his fingers.* Last year was rather busy.
Although I don't live nearby, I have sorted my own travel and accommodation to Iceland, and would love to know when tickets go on sale so I can snag one sharpish.

Hotel Booked = check
Time off booked = check
Eve Fanfest ticket bought = No Check..... btw has CCP released the ticket sales yet???? If so where.
Total = Going to Iceland, Fanfest... I can find where the tickets are on sale then yup I is going.
Btw.. a wee tip..... Hotel Nordica is cheapest if you book Tuesday 4th to Sunday 9th.

I usually pay $65, and by usually I mean that's what I paid last year. Part of me suspects it'll be a bit more this year, but it's pointless to speculate at this time...

Yes Nordica is the best (well actually park hotel is better) as they are the closest to the venue (like just over the main road) However the others (in the package deals) are about 3km's away each.

Yet another selling point for the Nordica - that and the fact that it seems a large number of people are forgoing the package options to book it too.

Definatly going (3rd time) - and staying at Nordica again.
This time will be a bit special, as it happens to coincide with my <something decades> anniversary b-day (on friday the 7th)

At least for those comming from the US, Expedia.com has some good package deals. For a single person staying at the Grand for 1 week it was $1,600.00. My biggest pain will be dealing with the jet lag. +7 hours here in US and I normally work a 2nd shift
