Non Agression Pacts are fine if you want your PVPers bored.
It is a shame more real PVP alliances don't stand alone versus multi-alliance blobs out in 0.0 IMHO.

Just seems like the north is a hell of a lot better about honoring theirs.
HAHAH! Left the funny bits.
Bitter much? Last time I checked Smashkill and their buddies in Geminate were just allies of convenience, not part of the true northern coalition. For a very very long time Smashkill has been enemy #1 to the north (I know, I was there at the time) Nobody that knows anything about the history up north was at all surprised that they just watched you die, probably a lot of them laughed as well.
me and tronnar were also in an old north alliance. We lived up there for a long long time. I personaly fought in the NFC, Goon, Bob, Tri, sparta and MC conflicts. Not bitter, experienced. The Northern alliances will sell each other out for a price. Dont know if this New Old Northern coalition is better. We'll see. The core Iron/MM/Razor i am sure will protect each other till the death or strategicly retreat together. Pure/Hydra/MH is a different story. They might be seen as expendible. All this crap is speculation though just like most horrible posts on caod.
exactly, I'm pretty sure BRUCE had good friends or they thought they had good friends in the north, only to have certain coalitions just watch them get arse ****d over and over.. they weren't part of the north, but from my PoV they were friends.

We were blue to Bruce for all of a week or two when they were taking Y-2 from BOB. We reset Bruce before we even left Delve. Why would they even consider expecting assistance from us? I dont even think they asked.

Also Sparta who fought hard alongside D2 in fountain, cloudring and dek were going to be reset as soon as the MC offensive was finished.
Most of those made their own fortunes. Sparta switched sides for example. ....
Yeah, sure. AFTER they fought hard with D2, AFTER they got steamrolled and NO ONE from the whole northern crew, especially not Razor helped then. Only after then when they were left all alone they switched sides.
And where were Razor and the north to rescue Iron when they go rolled up? If I don't remember wrong Iron chose to pack up their stuff instead of fighting (like Sparta did) and moved to the drone regions.
Nice try to spin the history Fred0, but too obvious.
Don't tell **** here, Razor and the whole north is same as every other 0.0 power block: BoB, Goons+TCF, RA+friends. Same sh*t everywhere. Maybe you really think you are a bright shining hero, but that is just crap, there is no difference at all.

D2 said they did not want any help. They would take care of events in the north and stop the MC offensive and the other entities should keep the pressure in the south. They realised too late that they could not handle it. I lost a BS when I flew up to help and was not allowed to join the D2 defence gang since the FC did not want to talk english.
When D2 finally accepted our offer to help most of the north was already lost. . you'll never jump alone

Wow, these comments are laughable. You just have no idea how many reds travel through NC territory. You should check their killboards when there are no major conflicts on and you will see there is plenty of opportunity for small scale PvP which is ultimately still the most enjoyable type of PvP. If you are a NC member it would be trivially easy to find constant reds to shoot at 24/7/365. Having a blob on your doorstep isn't the be-all of PvP conflict.
The NAP or the NC protectorate is there so smaller alliances have a place in 0.0 in EVE. Without the Protectorate each of the alliances would get crushed by a major alliance. If each of their alliances acted as individual alliances none of them would be holding the kind of territory they have access to now.
Each alliance faces constant conflict, they just don't ***** about it on the forums like most crappy alliances seem to do.

You are extremely ****ing wrong on when we got rolled by MC. In fact you have absolutely zero clue and you wouldn't unless you're Koth or Ovaron or maybe a few select others. You have a grunts eye perspective forged in gossiping by bruised ego's. Me, Ovaron, Koth and Drantis talked daily and did what we thought was smartest. It didn't work out, no bones about that but to construct it into something else would just be wrong. Sparta and FLA btw were under D2's jurisdiction in Deklein.
And your second point is all about perspectives I guess. Forum warriors like yourself especially has different pov's depending on agenda. --- "Cutting Edge 4 Life" |

On the flip side, I think BOB is trying to save Eve from the Goons, because after SMASH it wasn't looking so good?

I've grown tired of ignorant players like yourself claiming that g00ns were alone in that. How about you STFU and get your f***ing facts straight before you post on the forums.
g00ns didn't do it solo, and everyone knows what would've happened if they did. I would like to see any, i repeat ANY alliance take on the numbers we did, and live.
I dare any alliance 1on1, anywhere. And if you can't beat us, then crawl back to your little hole and STFU until you can.

People NAPing to avoid pvp is bad. Its like playing a 8 player game of starcraft and watching all 8 players NAP up and the game gets boring for everyone.
But a 8 player game of FFA is rather boring as well, but more exciting than a 8 player NAPfest. Best games I have seen are stuff like 4v4, 2v2v2v2 or 3v3v2 or 2v2v4 etc. Like I said, nothing wrong with people bluing up for pvp. But bluing up to avoid pvp is pretty bad.
