Some changes are good, some are bad... this is a good change 
I know I was debating much against the change when CCP tried to remove the sell orders forum, but after heavy debating, they changed their minds and included it anyway (appearently due to an oversight on management level  ). |

Sorry if this may be the wrong place for this comment, but please fix the white screen that flashes between pages. It's causing eye to bug out!
In IE7, WinXP, SP3, I'm getting a white page that flashes very quickly everytime I click on a new page. This just started last night (EST time zone) for me so I'm assuming it has to do with the recent changes. |

First impressions.
There are still a load of forums, just like there was before.
Now tho, stuff that quite rightly was separated has been pointlessly blobbed up, events for example is a jumbled mess.
the layout is completely to ****, and LESS intuitive than it was before, eg general discussion relegated even further down the page.
im not entirely sure what these changes have actually achieved as far as being useful goes, maybe im missing something?

I am trying to view a thread that was in the Corporation and Alliance Summit section but it is not letting me.
Does this mean ALL posts in that forum have been erased or are they still being shuffled? There were a lot of posts in there that I reference a lot and it would be a travesty if all the information there is completely erased.

Yeah I know about EVE-Search. But does this mean ALL of those threads are now locked forever and inaccessible other than through eve-search or other cached sources? Totally not cool if this is the case...

off topic --- but hey in missions why cant we have rare drops in all missions if not a certin perctage of them ??? like some faction loot or t2 items all that is droped is crap mostly asll refinalbe things you might find a mod thats worth a mil or two but hey even most game games in the world online have rare drops why cant we ??? !!!!! make it worth the time to do them you used to have one mission in which oncw in a great while you had a chance at a faction drop which made the mission worth palying even addewd excitement to it a great deal of it you kow will i get one wont i ??? thats what makes a mission !!! |

From what I seen all threads that previously was in a now locked forum is also locked (=gone in terms of EVEO). Some threads I think got moved but not 100% sure when some forums merged.
Also, is anyone else experiencing "automatic login" trouble? Did something change in terms of logged in/status. EVE-Search tends to be logged in at some threads and some not on a very random behaviour. |

I'd like to congratulate CCP on their successful Sony-ization of the forums, I think it will do wonders for the playerbase for CAOD to be officially-by-title reduced to a 24/7 Bob vs. Goons vs. TRI vs. PL vs. Pets smackfest, to replace the suddenly missing alliance championships forum in our hearts.
However...I thought this was supposed to be an improvement?
And WTF, still no decent search feature?

I just want to say a quick "thanks" for keeping the tech lab - I've still never used it, but anything that supports the people making all those little API utilities that I love can only be a good thing.
