Might I ask why you subjugate the people who can spell and pronounce the language correctly to such fallacy? Why am I forced to spell like an American when I am English? I cannot comprehend why, I, as an Englishman, am forced to improperly spell my native language.

But on a serious note, I do not know why I am forced to spell like a foreigner within my own language, I feel like there should be an Oxford English Localisation for those of us who cannot and will not adapt to another style of English.

I'm canadian and we spell it Armor.... except for our americanized military anyway.

I'm not mad per se, so i'm in before some idiot decides to spray his internet e-peen all over the place, I find it quite upsetting that people who use alternate methods of spelling are forced to spell like Americans. I have no quarrel with Americans, I find it unfair and quite frankly biased that i'm not given a choice to whether or not I can spell English the way I was taught in England

That makes no sense, McDonald's is a brand, not a language or dialect. The majority of the English speaking world speaks Oxford English, and why I am not given a choice whether I am allowed to speak it is biased.

We have double the population of the UK, Australia and New Zealand combined. Canada uses American spelling and eveyone else isn't a NATIVE speaking country. It just depends on who you learn your English from.
When I work in Norway I joke that they have British accents.....Japanese and Koreans often use the American dialect in my experience. |
