Seriously.
The Mammoth is one of the coolest looking ships in the game. It has a command presence. I can't believe it is just a hauler.
I say, make the Typhoon an indy ship and the Mammoth a BS.
Who's with me!?!?!

geebus allmight. no flame here, i totaly agree!  that mamoth looks scarier then the friggin typhoon!

I think the designer hit it right with both ships. They both look great and I think fit the description quite right. Both are at the top of my coolest ship list. But you cant argue about looks I guess

the real question is .... which are the ugly ships ? :)
dom = winnar of most ugliest bship in the game !!!!!!! i bet the person who designed it was not as "sober" as he thought he was :D
if the apoc had more thrusters at the back, itstead of looking like it was sliced in 2, IT WOULD BE THE BEST LOOKING SHIP EVER !!!! i still love apoc though :) just try not stare at its ugly ass all the time.
Megathron is a pretty cool looking ship, but the armagedon ..... er needs some fins or something to take it away from looking like something out of your classic pron movie ... sensual adult entertainment .. STARING THE .... OMG ARMAGEDON !!!!!!
sick thoughts aside, armagedon is a very cool ship. The caldari ship look cool too, once u get used to them :)

yeah i read the mammoth was originally designed as a BS, but they changed it to a hauler as things developed - something like that.
It is a cool looking ship, but I do like the Typhoon aswell

The Typhoon is an awesome battleship.. and barring the graphic error at the back right hand side where it's inverted (which has been noted before and time and time again and all its takes is a matter of inverting a few normals) it's a nice model the gun mounts works perfectly with my current setup. Although I would love to shock people taking the mammoth into battle >:D

I think people who don't appreciate the beauty of the dom are people who don't have DX9 enabled cards or something similar, because it's a pretty kewl ship with all the bling bling on.

The dom looks quality.
The Mammoth should definitely be a BS, but the 'phoon is cool too. Get rid of the tempest model i say :D

Well, it is true that design is subjective. But when I imagine a BS that is imposing and threatening...I don't imagine a big floating piece of space-poo liek the Typhoon. I think of a ship like the Mammoth.
I can always dream...right?
